Why not 5? Because I was booking ina rush and I feel slightly mislead by their website. I thought it is a dedicated courier for alloy wheels etc, believing they are using some kind of racks for non boxed wheels with tyres. Lucky me, the seller wrapped to wheels correctly and the wheels arrived undamaged in APC van

Have used several times to deliver large oversized parcels and always delivered to the next day service.

Will continue to use.

I’ve used Paisley Freight a number of times over the years and they have not let me down. They picked up 2 separate large 30kg and 10kg package yesterday morning in Staffordshire and delivered to me today in the allocated time slot. Could not have asked for more.

Good price. Quick response to email questions. Friendly helpful staff at Paisley Depot. Dropped parcel at 5pm was delivered 10am next morning. Perfect.

I didn't have a lot of choice for carrier due to the size of parcel and was a bit nervous given some of the previous reviews, but had an excellent experience.

Quick and efficient delivery of tyres. Delivery within 24hrs. Actual shipment outsourced to APC. All fine - would use again

Shambles courier service. Paid almost £100 for delivery which was meant to be delivered next day... one week later bike is undelivered still which is an absolute joke. Sent few emails and there is no update whatsoever, thought evri was the worst courier but paisley freight knocks it off the podium and takes the gold

If you charge someone extortionate amount of money to post something i expect to get what i paid for. Now i got an ebay complaint due to the incompetence of these fools. Stay away

Steer well clear, paisley sub contract the deliveries.

I paid for 5 16” alloy wheels to be delivered, wrapped in loads of bubble wrap and parcel taped in cardboard boxes. They came battered, ripped, damaged and manhandled.

Quote to repair was £140 but would not pay the full amount.

A complete waste of time sending emails and don’t do telephone calls.

First time using Paisley Freight, faultless from order to delivery. Order Exhaust Monday, picked up from Rugby Tuesday, delivered to Edinburgh Wednesday. Brilliant service and excellent price

I shipped a (dismantled!) tandem from the APC Edinburgh depot to Bristol in less than 24hrs. The box had clearly been handled with care and the courier at this end was polite and helpful. Slightly clearer emails confirming I'd booked drop-off (rather than collection) would be my only suggestion, but overall a great experience for a fair price.

Easily done. APC driver was prompt with pickup. All went with ease as I was well informed with progress throughout delivery process.

Good price but then they outsource it to APC who are useless. Meant to be next day arrived the day after. Left instructions on where exactly to leave the wheels. Must have been too far for the lazy driver to bother walking to put them where I requested. If you are a courier who cant be bothered to walk maybe it is the wrong job for you?

4 off Wheels with tyres arrived in the morning after being picked up a long distance away the day before. Arrived with all packaging intact and undamaged. Second time I have used Paisley Freight and would use again. Very fair pricing policy.

Yep the service provided was a pretty slick operation x4 steel wheels delivered over night and on my door step before mid morning with no hiccups have used in the past for bike carrying and was also a hassle free experience! No complaints from my self ! 5stars from me

Great communication, collected when they said they would and delivered by lunchtime the next day. Perfect and well priced.

Sent a pair of skis via Paisley Freight for £18.90 and then demanded an extra £25 which I had to pay before they would deliver the skis. They have since re-paid me the £25 but only after I managed my client to send photos of the skis against a tape measure. No evidence provided by PF that the skis were oversized. So sent them the following message:

I have reported Paisley Freight to Trading Standards this morning.

The reasons for taking action include:

1. Demanding money from customer while providing no proof of wrong-doing;
2. Breaking agreed contract;
3. Confused sizing information (offered a ski carrier service claiming an average size ski could not be carried);
4. Unable / unwilling to look at a simple photo next to a table-tennis table of known size to recognize the item is not 5.6 times the volume claimed.
5. Insisted we send measurements from the recipient of the parcel;
Most customers would not be able to organise measuring a parcel at the destination;
Each time this happens, Paisley freight makes a profit from a claim they cannot substantiate against the customer.

These business practises are shady at best and at worst, are regularly extorting money from innocent customers.

If you use this business, I suggest you photograph your item next to a tape measure before sending it and maybe let them know you have done this.
