OYO Brentwood Aberdeen - awful dirty, unsanitary

OYO Brentwood Aberdeen. Worst place ever! Carpet missing, bugs and mould in room. Dirty sheets.Veru sketchy men in reception area and hanging about. Left 20 minutes after booking in saying why we weren’t staying. Contacted OYO - no help. Contacted another 12 times for a refund and getting nowhere. Customer service is useless and won’t refund until they get the ok from the hotel. But cannot ever reach the hotel do 3 weeks later and still wanting a refund but don’t hold my breath.
Do not book or stay here.,,

Never stay at any OYO branded hotels in Batam

Never stay at any OYO branded hotels in Indonesia or anywhere else in the world. Badly managed,Dishonest Cheating staff in hotel Sedago Inn aka Collection O Nagoya Hill. Sedago Inn Batam aka Collection O

Never Never Stay at This Shit Hotel in Batam!!!
Dishonest Staff overcharged me for a room for 7 days stay.
He asked me to pay 1,100,000 Indonesian Rupiah but the actual amount by the Hotel is
800,000 Indonesian Rupiah. He recorded as 800,000 Indonesian Rupiah.
He kept the remaining 300,000 Rupiah for himself.
Not only he cheated me but he cheated the hotel owner too!
Stay Away from this Shit OYO managed hotel!
Impossible to reach out to OYO Indonesia head office for my complaint. Office run and operated by bots. Given same response, same reply with no solutions at all.
In short, OYO is a Big Scam!

OYO Con Artists

Cancelled my (free cancellation) booking fully in line with this sham company's cancellation policy.

However it would not send me a cancellation confirmation nor refund my prepayment.

OYO's website is not fit for purpose, it will intentionally send you around in circles when you try to contact the company regarding your cancellation.

Your only option will be to get your bank/card company to instigate a chargeback - this is what I did and needless to say, the chargeback was successful.

OYO is an unscrupulous operation which attempts to steal from its customers.

I will never use this sham company again.

The room was terribly outdated

The room was terribly outdated, not kept well, and not too clean, and a lot smaller than in the pictures. The entire building seems to need to be renovated or tore down. We had to check out after a couple of hours and go to a different stay (S5 Guesthouse which was brilliant).

Worst part is the customer service. I've contacted OYO but after an initial reply that they'd look into it, they don't reply to the message anymore and just sent reservation confirmations.

Travelers Beware!

OYO Hotel Chain's Criminal Behaviour.

We booked at the Super Oyo Premium Hotel in Jalan Sriwijaya, Legian Bali. When we arrived we were told that we had cancelled our booking and they had debited our Credit Card for the Full Cost of The Booking. Apparently we had cancelled whilst flying to Bali. They then told us our $30.00/night room was $42.00/night, but they were sold out. After more than 1 hour of arguing and numerous phone calls by the desk clerk to the manager who was elsewhere, we were offered a room, but we would have to pay AGAIN. The room was horrid and dank with none of the advertised accompaniments; the toilet seat was also not attached to the pedestal. We declined their offer, naturally. After returning to Australia and proving we could not have cancelled they then said we were a No-Show. We produced photos of our arrival there. Then they refused any further contact with Agoda Booking.

pay triple, if not we will charge from your credit card

i now had a few bookings from oyo accommodation.
usually a higher price would be asked at check-in (double or triple). if you cancel (also on the advice of the accommodation and declared as free of charge), then oyo will charge your credit card. you will not get any money back, give the reason: "charged"

Hotel did not honor confirmed/paid booking, Oyo brand does not care why

Hotel cancelled my confirmed/prepaid booking (which was made via Agoda) <3 hours before check-in. Agoda says the reason was fully-booked but they (and other agents) are still listing rooms albeit at a higher price. I reached out to Oyo to find out the real reason and they blew me off and told me to ask Agoda. Apparently they don't care whether their branded properties honor their bookings.

Absolutely f***** horrible

Absolutely f***** horrible. I booked through booking.com and received multiple confirmations, on the app, through chat, and by email. We show up to the place and they did not receive our booking. The booking was cancelled by OYO themselves WITHOUT NOTIFYING US. Customer service is non-existent, they do not want to take responsibility for their own mistakes. They overbooked and cancelled without prior notification through email, through booking.com, or anything at all. This is bullcrap. Now we are stuck in Kuta with no hotel room and no one taking responsibility.

Feels like a scam. Lost my money

Feels like a scam. They sell places that don't have partnership with them anymore, so when you get to the accomodation, your booking is not accepted, and there is no customer service to talk to, neither crom Agoda nor from Oyo. Unreal

They cancelled my booking. Customer support doesn't help at all.

I booked an OYO hotel, and the hotel cancelled my booking the day after check-in, meaning I didn't get my points. Also, the receptionist listened to music every night, it was impossible to sleep. I complained to OYO Indonesia via Facebook - they said they would forward my complaint to an obscure "related department". It didn't help: the next night the music continued. They didn't address my complaint about the cancellation either. Totally useless customer support!
