Poor customer service, doubt the company are actually in the UK. To start with they gave vague shipping details and we received a poor quality product for the price. No arch support and actually left us worse off. All round shifty company. Would recommend to avoid and pay the extra few quid and shop elsewhere. I should have checked here 1st before purchase. Asked for a refund and was offered a £10 discount straight up. Declined that and then was given sketchy return instructions that containing no actual returns information. Decided to keep slippers and maybe use them to light the fire, no use for anything else, please avoid this company at all costs.

I have had a totally different experience to many previous reviewers. I ordered a pair of slippers for my husband they arrived as described and were excellent quality but slightly too small. I contacted the company via email they replied the same day and arranged to send a bigger pair without me needing to return the ones I already had. The second pair arrived promptly ( despite it being the Christmas period) My husband is delighted with his slippers which are very comfortable and provide good support for his plantar fasciitis. We are very impressed with the service we received.

Would rather give no stars - avoid at all costs.
Purchased a pair of slippers, took nearly 2 weeks to arrive, couldn’t get my feet into them as opening so narrow. Tried to arrange a return for full refund - as advertised on the website - emails always replied to at 3am (should have twigged then they really weren’t UK based).
After several email exchanges with progressively increased offers, all falling well short of the full cost, I opened a dispute procedure through PayPal. This did the trick although I finally accepted £38 rather than the £38.99 they cost.

It’s basically “Drop Shipping”. If you take an image from their website and use Google Lens to search other websites you will find your intended purchase at about a quarter of the price.
Emails to their “Customer Service” are usually answered at about 03:30 GMT and appear to originate from an AI source in China or Hong Kong.
The “Warehouse” where all goods are allegedly shipped from is actually a residential house in Surrey.
I cannot comment on the quality of the goods because I didn’t actually receive anything!
I just wish I had researched reviews before placing an order.

I would give them -1* I ordered trainers on the 10 th Nov they arrived from China on the 25 Nov I asked to return them and when I suggested sending them to the web address they gave me another address and they received them on the 1 Dec I tracked the package I asked for my refund and they ignored all emails. I contacted my credit card company and had to put in a dispute, I received the refund today 19 December. The shoes are rubbish and customer service is nonexistent and to get a refund is a major challenge. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY

Absolute scam of a company . DO NOT USE THEM! There is zero orthopedic support, they r the cheapest quality can’t even call them slippers . The base is practically made out of polystyrene!!! They don’t offer refunds, they know they r a scam and will try and get u to keep this crap item with the possibility of maybe £8 back if your lucky , they r a scam and should be shut down !!!!

PLEASE AVOID THEM WITHIN ALL COSTS!
I regret purchasing from this website without checking reviews first.
My experience matches many of the reviews here.
I returned both items unworn with signed for delivery and was told a refund would be processed within 10 days. This did not happen. After repeatedly chasing and threatening legal action, I received only a partial refund, not the full amount paid.
I am now pursuing the remaining balance through my bank and reporting this matter to the relevant authorities.
I strongly advise others to research carefully before purchasing.

I would really like to give zero stars. I buy all my shoes online and have never had a problem. I asked for a return label for a refund, but was offered £8 to keep the slippers. Like others I wish I had read Trust Pilot first. The slippers I ordered were comparable in price to some sheepskin slippers from another supplier, so I expected similar quality. Not at all. They appear to be from Hong Kong according to my credit card statement, where there are markets full of such items. It's a lesson learnt for me, but I fear I won't be the last to be duped. Is there any way this site can be closed down?

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Fake "UK based" website - the retailer is in fact based in Hong Kong. Poor quality goods shipped out in unbranded bags. The horrible, cheaply made shoes I received were not fit for purpose and smelled awful after weeks in transit. I believe the responses I received from their customer support were AI generated. I eventually received from Orthoserene a returns address in Dunstable. Not surprisingly this was a Chinese export/import company warehouse. I kept all the relevant paperwork and correspondence so was able to claim my money back through my credit card company, but what a palaver!

I'm afraid to say I've had the same experience as other reviewers. I emailed them daily and eventually got £30 from the £36.99 they owed me (better than nothing). Like another reviewer states Paypal were not interested and ruled in the seller's favour!!
Once the £30 was in my account, I've reported them to Action Fraud and also raised it with Citizens Advice.

The worst service I've ever received. Do not use this company. It is a scam.

I ordered some shoes, they didn't fit, so I started to look into how to return them.

The website stated that all I had to do was email them and they would send me a return label and simple instructions. So I emailed them and asked to return them, but then began a very lengthy process in which they tried to negotiate anything and everything except for giving me my money back.

First, they offered to refund me £8 (even though the shoes cost £36). Then they told me that I would have to cover the cost of shipping and handling the shoes. They refused to give me a return label and it took a couple of weeks before they would even give me the return address. They never acknowledged receipt of the shoes.

At every stage I have had to chase them. It is now 6 weeks on and I still haven't received a refund of any sort.

This company is awful, do not buy from them, shoes are not what they say, return policy is not worth the paper it’s written on, I have been waiting weeks for a refund, they keep saying it’s being processed, never to arrive. Awful awful, they trade under different names too offering the same absolutely the same appalling behaviour.

Awful. Ordered boots for my elderly mother, took 3 weeks to arrive and then looked nothing like what was ordered. Poorly made cheap shoes and not orthopaedic at all. What a joke. Could not return and lost £49! Professional scammers with a convincing looking website. Shameful!

Avoid! This is not a real company. They are professional scammers. You will eventually receive poorly made goods that resemble nothing like the ad which you CANNOT return. Their fake 'returns' address at 105 Aragon Road, Morden, is a private house that is currently up for sale at 640k. Do not lose your money to these awful people. Avoid!

Absolutely terrible service. Made out to be a uk company and they are based in China.
Attempted to return products and they avoided this at all costs. The slippers were terrible quality abd can be bought for £4.74 on Temu rather than the £32.99 they charged me. The orthopedic trainers were not as described and of absolutely no use to me. Even raised a case with PayPal which ruled in favour of the seller. Absolutely a scam.

Made a massive mistake,this is a scam. Bought shoes waited 2 weeks for delivery and was shocked! The shoes are hard plastic sole no support at all,the uppers are so thin i thought it was thin cardboard.When you walk in tgen they gape at sides and sound lije wellies.There is nothing ortopaedic about them.They are not as described and not fit for purpose.Had three weeks constant emailing asking for refund
offered £10 to not send back then £12 .i cannot wear the shoes and paid 39.95 un total .They are very slow to respond and said i had to pay for return and handling fee?? Worst experience! These were meant to be a birthday present,instead i have had a terrible experience.

I would give 0 stars if possible and wish like others that I had looked on Trustpilot first. Bought 2 pairs of shoes with supposed arch support and shoes are very poorly made with no support at all. I have tried to arrange a return however replies come back offering £10 direct refund and to keep the shoes???? Even though the order was for over £70 and they are not suitable! Please avoid this company, I am now trying to get money back through a chargeback claim.

I waited weeks for a pair of slippers I ordered for my 92 year old Mum. Had to chase this company for delivery.

Arrived today! Appauling quality, clearly cheap Chinese imports. Won't be giving these as a gift and won't be ordering from this "British" company again.

The same as other reviews- the slippers are not the size ordered and I was offered £10 to re-order and keep the original slippers. I am not taking up that offer as I would not expect to receive a replacement on current record so hope to find someone who can use them and not buy on line again. I paid by credit card so do not know if I can get a refund that way.

Just an update on my complaint to PayPal about this company. They found in my favour and have refunded me £38.99 which is the price I paid for the scam slippers minus the shipping cost.

I went back to the Orthoserene website and checked to see if PayPal is still available. It looks like it’s been disconnected as a payment option as nothing happens when you click to pay with them. Their logo is still being promoted on the website.

You can still pay using other cards so I would urge everyone to lodge complaints with your credit card company. You should get your money back and raise awareness so the payment portals are shut down.

I also tried to submit a review on the website but of course it wasn’t published. So we can safely say all the reviews on their website are fabrications.
