Fabulous course- would definitely recommend!
I completed the dog first aid course last week. The website was super easy to use and the course was full of information about what to do in emergency situations. I really liked that the course can be split into different sessions as it doesn't have to be completed all in one go. This would be very handy to people who would like to complete the course, but struggle to find enough time to attend an in person course. I also loved that each section came with videos and images showing how to perform specific methods of first aid and ended with a quiz to test that the knowledge was being absorbed. As someone who is entering the dog related industry, I think that having this qualification will prove very useful in times to come. I would strongly recommend this company.

PFA and MHFA training recommendation
Our school has used First Aid for Life for our Paediatric First Aid training. I have also completed their Mental Health First aider training. As a headteacher, I can highly recommend their training and the service that they have provided to our school.

Excellent short course
It was easy to fit the study around my working schedule, and the sections were of a manageable size. Plenty of illustrations and videos of procedures where they were useful. The assessments were hard enough but not impossible - you certainly had to pay attention and take notes on the material but if you do then you will easily pass.
The course and certificate have given me confidence in my role at work. I would recommend it.

Repetitive, inneficient and incomplete
I took the online Mental Health First Aid training.
It's repetitive and incomplete. The same bits of information are repeated several times, making the course longer than it needs to be. It's clear that nobody proof-read and trialled the course before making it available. Sentences are abandoned in the middle, functionalities are incredibly faulty and the website takes a long time to respond after every click.
Questions are re-used and some quizzes are clearly telegraphed, meaning that anyone can pass without having learned much.

The course is fully interactive, with videos, step by step directions, infographics and test yourself sections. You can stop and start as often as you like and download and print your certtificate on completion.
