Delicious chocolate. Excellent service
I bought my sister an Ombar advent calendar which Royal mail failed to deliver.
Ombar very kindly sent another advent calendar out which my sister recieved the next day.
She says the chocolate is "delicious" and "creamy".
Their customer service was exceptional. Very speedy replies and they were so kind to send out another calendar, which meant a lot to me.
I would definitely purchase again from them.

Unpleasant
Chocolate's my passion. I can usually tell which country the beans have come from without looking at the ingredients list, what kind of sugar's been used, etc.
I have a bar of Ombar 72% cacao, which tastes weird, but in an unpleasant way. Live cultures and coconut sugar don't work for me, sorry. Won't purchase again.

Super Silky Smooth…
I just tried the coconut and vanilla chocolate and it's quite beautiful - so silky smooth and melts deliciously in the mouth. I will definitely try the other flavours. This is a winner for me!

Incredibly creamy! Love love love!
I received a sample to try (hazelnut milk choc) but wasn’t obligated to share my experience at all, but it was so delicious that I really wanted to leave a review! It was so incredibly creamy, I didn’t know vegan chocolate can taste like this. I’m so impressed! Highly recommended! I only wish the prices were lower. I struggle paying twice the price of non-vegan chocolate. If it was a similar price I would buy it regularly. It’s a shame that vegan alternatives always have to cost so much more :( I doubt that oat milk is so much more expensive to make than dairy milk.

We appreciate that our chocolate is a little more expensive than others on the market, but this is for good reason!
Most commercial chocolate is cheap because big business exploit farmers to maximize their profits. We have long-term partnerships with fair-trade farmer's cooperatives in Ecuador, and pay each farmer a fair wage and price for their cocoa beans.
Cacao is the most expensive ingredient in chocolate, and we never go below 40%, with the vast majority of our range sitting at 55% plus cacao content. Other popular brands in the UK have between 20-25% and bulk up their products with cheaper ingredients, like milk and sugar. We only use high quality, organic ingredients, which is another reason why the cost of our chocolate is higher.
We don't outsource to big factories like many of our competitors. We're a small company who lovingly make every batch from scratch in our chocolate factory in Cambridge, for example, every almond in Coco Almond is added by hand!
We hope this helps to explain the price of our chocolate 😊

I had the chance to try a sample of the hazelnut chocolate bar. The taste is delightful and you cannot say that is plant based from the taste. It is also a good option to save a bit our planet.

Lovely, creamy chocolate
I received a sample of this chocolate and liked it so much I bought six more. It's lovely and creamy which makes a welcome change from plain chocolate.

Fantastic chocolate! Arrived fast, eaten faster.
It as so creamy, it was treated like the middle of those chocolate balls we all love! You wouldn't know it was vegan. It was si delicious and I couldn't help myself and I forgot to leave some for my partner to try... Oops. I think this might be my new favourite chocolate

Usually I find vegan chocolate can taste quite gritty and artificial (you know the feeling) but not this one. The hazelnut is my fave....delicious!! Creamy yet no dairy, fantastic!

A tasty, guilt-free treat!
I'm dairy-free as much as possible due to health issues and when I stumbled across an ad to try a bar for free (who doesn't love free chocolate?!), I jumped at the chance.
I tried the salted caramel chocolate and I was very pleasantly surprised. I'm so used to vegan or dairy free chocolate tasting bland or bitter like dark chocolate, but this was smooth and creamy. I could detect a very subtle hint of the oaty flavour beneath the salted caramel, but this didn't detract from my enjoyment at all. Would love to see this in shops, as well as being able to purchase online.
