I am a data guy, so weighing, measuring and scrutinizing key variables was inevitable in driving a final decision. I spent a couple of months testing a TON of office chairs, including visits to nearly a dozen furniture and office supply stores. I sat in plenty of good chairs and even a few great ones. OKUP consistently stood apart in build quality, comfort, warranty, and overall execution.

The feature set is where the M78 really separates itself from the sea of sum $1,000 chairs. The adjustability is extensive without feeling gimmicky, and every function feels intentional. Lumbar support, ventilation, heat, built-in battery, massage, recline, and leg support all do exactly what they are supposed to do, which sounds obvious until you have tried enough chairs that miss the mark. A few minor drawbacks worth noting. I am six feet tall and the lowest height setting is perfect, but it goes several inches higher than most people will ever need. The ventilation could be stronger, and it would be nice if the chair could sit fully upright instead of always being slightly reclined.

Real leather was a must. I own three executive Serta chairs, all bonded leather, and my go to chair of eight years now sheds more fake leather than a Labrador sheds fur. Many real leather chairs I found looked dated or overly traditional. Not exactly something I wanted to spend more time in than my own bed. OKUP managed to deliver genuine leather on all contact surfaces with a modern design that does not look like it belongs in a nineties New York law firm.

The eight year warranty sealed the deal. That level of coverage signals real confidence in the product, and the customer service backs it up. I had plenty of questions, and every email was answered clearly and quickly, usually same day or next day. The experience felt professional, flexible, and easy to work with.

Assembly was the final pleasant surprise. For a chair that weighs north of one hundred pounds, setup was refreshingly easy. Everything lined up, instructions were clear, and within minutes it felt dialed in rather than something that would take weeks to break in.

After all the research and testing, buying the OKUP M78 was absolutely the right call. It feels built for daily use over the long haul, not for replacement in a few years.

Overall, I feel like I hit the lottery with this chair. Out of everything I researched and tested, there are exactly zero chairs I ranked higher than the OKUP M78. The higher price is easy to justify when you factor in how long it will last and how good it feels to use every day. If you want to spend your workdays in genuine comfort and a little bit of luxury, bite the bullet and get the fully featured OKUP chair. You will not regret it.

I recently received the M78 and it is better than expected. The leather is extremely soft and comfortable and the assembly took less than 15 minutes. I work from home so it’s a perfect chair for working and also reclining during a break. The heat, cooling and massage work far better than I expected.

I got an M80 A Okup chair for Christmas this year. I work from home and my old chair was kaput. I have to say this chair is beautiful and so easy to assemble. I had some questions and their customer service department is wonderful. 5 star treatment!

I ordered this chair (M80-A) and was a little more than concerned with the price and wait time for it to be built. It was SO very worth the wait and investment. Since covid, I've gone through 3 different chairs as I work from home office...this chair, I expect to go a decade with me! Add on that the customer support rapidly responded with a new charger when the original one was damaged in a flood, and I am convinced that OKUP is my goto in the future. I love this chair, and I even tell my clients about it as a business coach!

My old office chair was due for an update and I have back issues so I decided to try out the Okup M63. This is a great chair and I am happy with my decision. It’s a full blown recliner with cooled seat and heated massage AND electric adjustable lumbar that I can use at my desk or wheel around and use in the other rooms as needed. What a great idea!

I purchased the chair and it came very quickly and very well packaged with no damage, & it assembled very easily. It has great functionality and if you experience any issues. The customer service team is there to take care of you.

I ordered the M78 chair which comes in 2 boxes but I only received 1 box. I tried calling the company on the phone number provided in the box during the business hours listed on the pamphlet but it just goes to a voicemail with a 1980s like computer generated voice. I'm not sure what's going on here but I did not expect to spend all this money just to have problems. The box clearly says part 1 of 2 so why weren't both shipped together? FedEx shows only 1 box was received at pickup! Now--at least for the time being--I am left with no chair, clutter in my office from half a chair sitting in the corner, a big credit card bill, and no direct way to contact the seller!

Wow, what a chair! & What customer service! I am giving my honest review of the OkUp M-80 A power reclining office chair. I think it’s a great chair. It’s a beautiful chair & a comfortable chair. I purchased the chair and it came very quickly and very well packaged with no damage, & it assembled very easily. That being said, I have a special needs for my back as I am in a wheelchair and a rather large man. Although I do not exceed the chairs 420lbs weight limit at 320lbs, I still feel I’m a little too large and heavy for the chair as I don’t feel I am able to sit back in it comfortably enough for my needs. The seat needs to be a little deeper and wider for me. Therefore, I had to return it, but t’s still a very comfortable chair for most anyone else and their customer service was great and helpful. I know all the reviews about it are not wrong. It Might not have worked out for me, but I would still have to give the overall chair and customer service experience a five star rating…

Very comfortable chair with great features: leather seats, massage, lumbar support, lower-back heating, and wide seat. Customer service was very responsive and made the whole experience simple.

I bought the MA80 executive chair with the upgrade. It did not come with the cord that connects the charger to the wall. I also wasn't able to thread the screws/bolts into one of the arms. I contacted the company and within 5 minutes, they had responded. I also got my chair very quickly. However, they didn't tell me that it was on the way. I just happened to check on the progress of my order and saw that it was.

I purchased this chair for my home office and overall I'm pleased with the quality. The dual motor system works smoothly and the reclining function is very comfortable. The leather material feels premium and the build quality seems solid. The footrest is a nice feature for relaxing during breaks.
One thing to note - this is a LARGE chair. If you're on the shorter side or have limited space, definitely check the dimensions carefully before purchasing. It's designed for bigger individuals and takes up more room than a standard office chair.
The assembly was straightforward and the instructions were clear. Customer service from the seller was responsive when I had questions.
Overall, it's a well-made executive chair with good features, just make sure it fits your space and body size before buying.

This has been the worst purchasing experience of my life. Okup Furniture — and specifically the person who manages it, “Gon”, operates in a way that is misleading, sneaky, and absolutely dishonest.

Before anyone decides to take the risk of purchasing from this individual, I strongly urge you to first request the exact location and physical address of the business. In addition, verify the actual legal existence of this company in U.S. business registries. You will find no legitimate records, and that alone makes it clear that this is a scam. Doing this basic research before paying will help you safeguard your money and protect yourself from fraudulent practices.

I bought chairs advertised as genuine leather with an aluminum frame. What I received was the complete opposite: cheap plastic pretending to be leather, and a structure that is not aluminum at all but extremely heavy iron. Nothing in these chairs corresponds to the description. This is not a misunderstanding. It is a deliberate misrepresentation designed to deceive customers.

After discovering the scam, the nightmare only continued. Instead of taking responsibility, the seller played a constant game of excuses, delays, and manipulation. They pretended to issue a refund that never arrived, stretching the process for months and making everything as confusing and unprofessional as possible. Even the bank dispute was complicated by the seller’s evasive behavior.

This is not just bad customer service. It’s a pattern. It’s a scheme. And it’s a fraud.

Save yourself time, money, and frustration. Do not buy from Okup Furniture.

OKUP - M78 Powered Office Chair
I saw several posts regarding this office chair and other OKUP office chairs.

I chose theM78 Power chair in leather.

I have terrible knees and lower back and I love this chair. I have tried many of them and by the end of the day I can barely walk as I work about 8-14 hours a day in this chair at my computer.

People have complained about the buttons but it is muscle memory I already know exactly what button does what and I have only had the chair since November 7th. I made diagram of the buttons to use for my first week sat it on my desk and that was all I needed.

I love the fact that it has the below qualities

The chair gets charged so you are not plugged in

It rotates

It is on wheels so I can easily back up from my home desk

For me it is key to have a foot rest and I can change how high it is through the day

vented seat is great

Heat is really hot much hotter than any heated seat I have gotten in other chairs

Massage is awesome give me a nice restart half way through my day.

You can lay the back almost completely flat to take a rest if you want or to just stretch your back for a few

Best part lumbar support this has lacked in every chair I have purchased in the past. So far I find that the full back has so much support I don't need to add any extra support.

I have gone through probably 6 chairs this year already as I am really tough on them.

After ordering I received it pretty quickly. Setup was very easy. Leather is nice quality and it looks and feels great.

I can't say anything about any of the other chairs but this one I can tell will be a keeper for a while and I will not hesitate to buy another one when it is time to replace this one.

I ordered the lift chair from OKUP Furniture and it was exactly what I wanted and how they described it.
The chair is small so it fits perfectly in my room and is very comfortable.
