Four Months, No Refund, No Resolution – Completely Unacceptable

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Ogaan and feel compelled to share it publicly, especially given the complete lack of accountability from their team over the past four months.

I placed an order worth $500, specifically requesting a Medium top and Small bottom. What I received was clearly a Small for both pieces-with no size tags included, so I couldn’t even verify what was sent. This outfit was meant for my brother’s wedding, and the timing was critical.

Despite reaching out immediately and following up multiple times, Ogaan has neither issued a refund nor sent a proper replacement. Instead, they proposed to “somehow fix” the sizing- altering a Small into a Medium, despite the fabric clearly not allowing for it. That’s not just unrealistic, it’s insulting.

When you charge premium prices, customers expect professionalism, quality control, and basic service recovery when mistakes happen. Four months later, I’m left with an ill-fitting, unusable outfit and no resolution. This is not how a luxury retailer should treat its customers.

Fabulous customer service

Very Disappointing customer service

I had a very disappointing experience with Ogaan regarding the Sage Scarlet dress. As a loyal customer for the past 4-5 years, I was shocked by the poor customer service. The dress I received was extremely short and shapeless, completely different from my expectations. When I requested an exchange, I was strung along for months, asked to provide measurements in different ways, only to be told in the end that a return wasn’t possible. This was my first time requesting an exchange, and the experience was terrible. The dress is still packed and useless to me.

Since then, I have chosen to shop directly from designers or through Pernia’s and Aza, both of which offer excellent customer service and prompt responses. I used to browse Ogaan’s website due to its user-friendly design, but now I place my orders elsewhere. In fact, I have recently purchased from Aza instead.

Many of my friends, who previously shopped at Ogaan on my recommendation, are now purchasing directly from designers who offer personal attention and flexible exchange policies. A great example is Outhouse, from whom I purchased around ₹2 lakhs worth of items in December, and they gladly exchanged a few heavy pieces without any hassle.

Ogaan’s customer service is extremely unresponsive, and most replies feel like generic, scripted messages rather than genuine assistance. This lack of care for customers is disappointing, and I can no longer recommend Ogaan to others.

After reviewing your order, we noticed that the complaint was raised nearly a month after delivery, which is beyond our 24-hour policy. Furthermore, the measurements and image you provided were shared almost three months later, showing a 17.5" length, which is only a slight difference from the 18" listed on our website.

We truly appreciate your feedback and are committed to improving our service. We hope you'll consider shopping with us again in the future.

GASLIGHTING

Sent the wrong sizes (too small by 4 inches) and tried to gaslit me into thinking it did fit, as if I don’t own a measuring tape. I provided my own measurements. Horrible costumer service and over $1100 down the drain. Trash

Best part was you were so transparent and accommodating throughout the process! I’m so glad that the order went through you and Ogaan and not the designer because we had a mediator to make sure our pieces are done right!

This website sells refurbished clothes…

This website sells refurbished clothes and not new . The clothes arrive without any tags often and crumbled and smelling. It’s a scam website and better to order from manufacturer than them.

Don't order from this company

Don't order from this company. Cancelled the order because they kept making excuses. They confirmed cancellation via email and tried to offer a credit and not refund on my credit card. Then shipped part of the order weeks later. Emailed again asking why order shipped and requested to return the cancelled items. No response from Ogaan. Unethical company.

I had a terrible experience with Ogaan

I had a terrible experience with Ogaan. The outfits they sent were completely different from the photos on their website. The colors were off, the designs were mismatched, and the quality was shockingly poor. To make matters worse, their customer support was absolutely horrible. They were unresponsive, dismissive, and did nothing to resolve my issues. I would never recommend this site to anyone. Stay away if you value your time and money!

Extremely poor and disgusting service

Extremely poor and disgusting service. Never ever experienced anything like this. I wouldn’t even know we’re to start in explaining my experience with Ogaan. They Sent me 3 different prices after order confirmation was completed. First requested payment in dollars instead of pounds. Then said I need to pay more money because they never included customisation in the order confirmation. This amount was over. £1,000. They then refused to cancel the orders and didn’t take any responsibility in their mistakes. I have had to constantly call and message before receiving any response. Sales staff was very inexperienced. She wasn’t able to deliver anything she confirmed to me. Then after taking all that extra money for customisation they made the outfit incomplete by reducing the length of the shirt from what I requested. Even then the sales assistant is telling me we don’t send anything out before cross checking. It. She never even checked my measurements with the finished product. Then I receive an email from the shipping service requesting £665 to pay duty tax for 2 outfits. I Wasn’t advised of this madness. You couldn’t make this up. I will have to pay over £1,000 for shipment with Ogaan from India to the Uk, when all the other top designers just take a delivery charge of no more than £100. This company isn’t experienced and I’m extremely surprised that some of the top designers are selling through them. My advise to anyone that may be thinking of purchasing with Ogaan, it will be the greatest financial loss they will ever experience in the Indian retail market.

Order stitched incomplete and worst customer service

I bought a top and pants from Mati designer through Ogaan. I asked if they could do for my measurements, which they agreed. And when I received my order the top was stitched incomplete. When I approached the customer service they asked me to email to sales department and share my concern , they would resolve it. I emailed them but in vain, they never got back and customer service people stopped replying my messages. Very disappointing .

Dear Ogaan Customer Service,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding my order placed in the first of June 23 , 4 months ago for a pair of slippers. I have patiently waited for the shipment that was to arrive in 1 week and believed in stores promises of imminent shipment. Unfortunately, my patience has been in vain as I still haven't received the product.
On reminding them about 2 weeks ago I was told the order was lying with the store & that my order would be shipped within a week, which has long passed. To my shock, your store now informs me that my order has been sold, and I will need to wait even longer for another pair to be ordered.
This entire experience reflects a severe lack of professionalism and customer service. I trusted your store with my order and have been let down at every turn. On asking the store to refund the amount they said they would do the order in another week .
I hope you take this feedback seriously and work to improve your order handling processes to prevent such experiences in the future.

Amazing experience through and through!

I bought a dress for an event with few days to spare. Not only did they provide extensive assistance via WhatsApp, they explained the process and delivered almost a week before the expected time. I live in Mexico. They are supportive great and prompt to answer. The dress is beautiful, the measures are correct, as outlined in the site, the fabric is lavish and it looks as pretty as the pictures. Very advisable to shop here.

Worst Product support and customer service.

Dear Team,

As there is no review below 1, hence bound to give 1 star. Worst customer service experience and product delivery I have ever seen during this digital world. To deliver a product they have taken more than 50days. Most importantly, as long as there is no follow up from customers , they won't respond your query. Though they have started the business . but don't know how to run it. Keep working with customer satisfaction, otherwise you will vanish from the market like other start ups. Thanks.

Never do online shopping with Ogaan

Very bad experience with the Ogaan online service. Better to buy direct from the designer. They mess up with the customisation. The sales team give you 24/7 service just till you have paid, after that they do not follow up and just give false promises. Will never do online shopping with Ogaan again.

Very Poor Customer Service and Delivery!

After which I had to cancel - they confirmed sending out refund on 27th Oct. Which I didn’t receive till Jan only after I chased!!!

WhatsApp service takes ages to reply and overall very disappointing especially since everyone knows they over charge and might be easier to contact the designer directly if possible or look for alternatives.
