Thank you for your feedback, though we're naturally disappointed to see a negative review rather than being contacted directly.
We’d like to clarify that your order was dispatched promptly and tracking details were emailed to you. According to the courier's tracking history, there were three attempted deliveries. The parcel was then held securely at the depot, awaiting your instructions for redelivery or collection.
Had you reached out to us, we would have gladly assisted you in resolving the issue quickly.
We always strive to provide the best service possible, but once a parcel is in the hands of the courier, successful delivery does rely on the recipient following up when delivery attempts fail.

13inch magnetic chess set
I purchased the 13inch board magnetic chess set. The King is 52mm high and the board folds in half with the pieces stored in the base when not in use. The build quality is excellent, this size board and pieces is fine for general use and the price is most sensible. Very pleased with my purchase.

We ordered a beautiful Lewis Men chess set. The pieces are really nice and include the Berserker which is my favorite. Unfortunately the board was damaged in transit but the issue was dealt with very quickly by OfficialStaunton Customer Service. We received a quick response to the initial email and a resolution was organised. Couldn't be happier with the set and credit where it is due.

I’ll be returning
From the get go, my entire experience has been flawless. I enter the site, I pretty much immediately find the section, as well as selection I am looking for. I know my budget, I know the aesthetic I’m looking for. Boom, there it was, the Winchester Anegre set. Ideal for what I wanted.
I order without issue, finding no problem going through checkout.
Within days the items are with me. They’re each pristine. I open the board, I see it’s well packed, secure soft tabs over each corner. No damage to any packaging. On inspection, there was the tiniest of cracks in the side of the board. It made no difference to the playability of the board. I email, just to let them know, that the board was damaged, but must of been prior to packaging at the factory, just after QA or something, because no damage to the packaging, whatsoever.
We came to an agreement, instead of the hassle of getting the board collected, and me not seeing the biggest issue, they knocked a little something off for me.
I have to be honest, it’s no wonder this is why these guys are the best. In every sense. Amazingly beautiful products, and a customer care ethic that is second to none.
I’ll be returning.

My first "Proper" Chess set, lovely maple board, piece's look good with a nice weight to them, nice slide lid storage box, arrived well packaged in 48 hours, luckily was on sale when purchased just after Christmas. Very pleased with it.

Good price, perfect condition, nicely wrapped and posted immediately.
The actual set (isle of sky) was okay not as detailed as I would have liked and too uniform - not the sellers fault. Most people will be happy.

Absolutely exquisite!!
This chess board and pieces are a work of art! this shouldn’t be sitting in my semi detached property but on a pedestal in the Louvre museum!! I can’t even express my joy in receiving this on a review but I’ll give a go. Firstly the packaging has had a lot of thought and no expense spared. Then the board and pieces were immaculate. The board is really well structured and the pieces are perfectly weighted and perfect size for the board. It comes with extra queens. Perfect little compartments for your pieces built in to the board. A great centrepiece for my coffee table. Overall you have one extremely happy customer and for those of you who maybe on the fence with this purchase don’t be!! Buy it now for yourself or as a gift and I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed. Well done official Staunton you’re clearly passionate about your business & quality of your products which is rare in this day and age.
