I would not purchase from Oasislives…

I would not purchase from Oasislives again. The sconces we purchased showed on their website a warm white glow emanating from 3 separate bulbs. Instead they were each equipped with an LED strip that generated a uniform harsh white light. Of course to discover this, you have to first install them, which negates the opportunity to return them. Bottom line: False Advertising. I complained with no resolution. They insisted the lights were indeed 2700k. They weren't. I sent pictures comparing them with a professionally calibrated light source to prove it. In our exchanges, they never addressed the discrepancy with the picture on their website. About a year later, I get an email from "Sunny" at Oasislives that states: "I wanted to check in and make sure you’re completely satisfied with the Beckett Alabaster Wall Sconces ​you ordered. Could you share the post installation photos? Any issues or concerns you’d like to discuss?" And by the way "we have some new products that might interest you". I reiterated my complaint but was told "You are beyond the return or exchange window" (so clearly they were NOT interested in our complete satisfaction - they only wanted to solicit additional business). My email exchanges with "customer service" were equally dissatisfying, especially when it became obvious they were using AI to generate what were legitimately laughable responses. We wrote off this $1100 fiasco and purchased new lights elsewhere.

Really impressed with the custom…

Really impressed with the custom service. I had a fixture made specifically for our staircase, and the team was incredibly patient throughout the whole process. We went back and forth quite a bit and revised the design several times until it felt right. The light has arrived, it’s installed, and it fits the space perfectly. Very happy with how everything turned out and glad I took the custom route.

This company is dishonest, misleading & not true to their word

We fell in love with the Finnley Dining Table at Arhaus. At the time, we found it cheaper at Oasis Lives with "20% off" and "free shipping." We didn't get the 20% off when we ordered it so contacted the company. They said the 20% off was only for lighting. The web site didn't say that so they gave us 15% off instead of the advertised 20%.. It took a long time for the table to arrive in the United States. We were then contacted asking if we wanted "white glove" delivery for an additional $500. We said no, we ordered the table with free shipping. Oasis Lives later contacted us to say there was a $400 shipping charge because the table was oversized. We reiterated that the web site and emails said free shipping. They ended up splitting the cost with us so we paid $200 instead of free shipping. The table was delivered in two big crates weighing 700 pounds. We ended up paying $250 more to have the table assembled and the crates taken away. In the meantime, we could have gotten this table from Arhaus cheaper without all the hassle. We love our table, but would never order from this company again.

It's not that perfect

Continuous purchase of the same series of wall lamps, lampshade color a little chromatic aberration, customer service explained that different batches inevitably have difference, although it can not be seen when placed on the same wall when lit, but for the pursuit of perfection for consumers is inevitably regrettable. In addition, part of the product packaging protection is not enough, received a small bump on the glass lampshade.

This was the frustrating part

The wires were shorter than expected, making it though to connect to my junction box. Had to strip and extend them myself. Also, the mounting plate screws didn't align perfectly - had to drill an extra hole. For an "eye-install" product, it was more hassle than advertised.

Update on my last review

Update on my last review. Do not under any circumstances part with any money to this company. They have replied to my original comment with a completely false narrative.

I did in fact send pictures of the cheap imitation light they sent me. They offered to give me a return and gave me the address of another customer who had fallen for the same scam.

They wanted me to send my return to the other customer and gave me all her personal details. Honestly I don’t think I’ll ever see a penny back of my money, but please do not buy from them. I will make it my life’s work now to stop them making a penny!

We are disappointed to see your continued public accusations, which are not only inaccurate but highly misleading. To protect our integrity and provide clarity for others reading this, we must address your claims:

A full refund was issued to you on May 1st, before the return of the item — solely based on trust and your request.

You confirmed in writing on May 10th that you would send the item back on Monday. However, as of May 23rd, you have neither returned the product nor provided any tracking.

We did not instruct you to return the product to “another customer.” The return address provided was a valid warehouse drop-off location, clearly explained in our communication. No personal customer data was shared.

You received the product and the refund — yet have not upheld your part of the agreement by sending the item back.

This is not a matter of “cheap imitation” or “scam” — it is a case where we fulfilled your request in good faith, and we were met with non-cooperation.

We respectfully ask that you stop spreading false claims. We remain open to resolving this matter if the product is returned. Until then, we will be documenting this behavior as refund fraud and may pursue action accordingly.

Thank you for your follow-up. We're truly sorry to hear that you're still unhappy with your experience, and we’d like to offer a respectful clarification of the process.

1. On April 24, we sent return instructions outlining that we would provide the return address once we received a photo of the properly packaged item. This is part of our standard process to ensure safe transit and avoid damage.
2. While you initially mentioned sending the photo promptly, we did not receive it until April 29, following several reminders.
3. You requested a refund prior to returning the item, which is not our standard policy. However, we chose to trust your intent and issued a full refund in advance, in good faith.
4. To date, we have not received the chandelier back, nor any return tracking information.

We always aim to treat our customers with fairness and respect, and we acted with transparency and flexibility throughout this process. We are still happy to accept the return, should you choose to complete it.

We understand your disappointment, but we respectfully ask that any public feedback reflect the full context of the situation.

Beware of mislabeled products on this website!

I recently selected and purchased two black sconces on the Oasis Lives website. I received brown sconces instead. I contacted Customer Support about the difference in the color that I had received, and sent them photos. Their response was "The one we sent you is black not bronze.The finishes will all be different colors for the same product, using different materials.So the hardware part of the bedroom and the finish of the fixture, not from the same factory, not from the same product, not from the same material, will have color differences. The black color made by each factory will also vary, glossy black, matte black, etc."
I have responded by email, stating that their website is mislabeling the color on their website as "black". I also sent them ads from Amazon and Ebay, that show the exact same light for sale, labeled as "bronze".
I will update Trustpilot with the results of my dispute. I highly recommend that customers research the refund policies of lighting companies before they make a purchase. Buy from well known websites, and consider those that also have brick and mortar locations where you can easily exchange or return your purchase.
