This company makes it out it is selling high quality garments when, what you receive is a cheap item from China. I bought a knit dress that was purportedly reduced from£105 to £43 making it sound like a quality garment. What arrived was a cheap cotton dress that would have cost about £7 on Shein. The company then insist on you paying for return postage to China which is against UK consumer law as this is not mentioned in their returns policy on their website. In the end I raised a dispute with paypal and received a full refund.

🛑 Warning 🛑 this company uses false images to advertise their products. What I received were of terrible quality and were unwearable and were not like the picture they display. They offer free carriage but when returning anything you have to pay shipping fees back to China. Do Not risk ordering from this company!

It says delivered 2 hours ago yet no package ,I have cameras around my home .very disappointed ,it’s an anti theft bag how ironic.

This company are no more than crooks. The item I bought was so far below an acceptable standard it was laughable. Their no hassle returns policy is a joke, items have to be returned to China at your expense. With that option comes all the warning is that it may get lost in transit or at customs, in other words it will disappear.
After much arguing I had to accept a 20% refund so I am now seriously out of pocket and my item is in the bin. I wouldn't even give it to the charity shop.
Avoid this company please, just wish I'd read the reviews first.

Ordered what appeared to be a beautiful leather handbag only for it to arrive extremely late and without a hint of leather.
Requested full refund to be offered 10% or a complex returns where I had to pay shipping with no guarantee of the product making it back for a full refund….do not touch!!!

Scam website, don't buy from them. Bought two bags and one broke after 5 days. I emailed them and what they offered was basically in direct conflict with UK laws for long distant sales. Of course I did not check Trustpilot before buying.

Got a response but in their returns policy they say no problem you will get a full refund but actually as the other people have stated they offer you 10% refund keep the poor quality goods, then 20% keep poor quality goods, or get a refund in full as a credit to get more poor quality goods. I have gone to the international centre of commerce because this company is not in the UK and so we have no protection. The BEST ADVICE is DON'T BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.

Do not use this company .the items described are not true . I ordered an apricot coloured sweatshirt and when it came it was brown and thin material like a football top . Tried to return but says it’s very difficult as it has to go back to china so will give me 100% back if choose something else but will knock off £10 for postage . Always very prompt reply and courteous but avoid if I were you .they are just Chinese quality and rubbish . Will dump mine at charity shop and I’ve lost £36 so not cheap .

Scam company stay away
I wanted to return items as they arrived late and they was also nothing like the website shows it’s just cheap market clothing from china!
You have to pay to ship the items back to china which costs a fortune! So what they do it offer you a store credit note or 20% back of you item so for my £60 order I wasn’t even going to receive much back!
They say they are helpful but they are not it’s just auto generated messages probably AI along with the whole site. That is probably how they make their money.
I would never order from them again and I’d advise everyone else not to.

Terrible fraudulent company.
I purchased a hoodie that looked lovely online, however I received a shiny polyester cheaply made hoodie instead.
Website says easy returns.
When I tried to return it, they tried to get me to accept a 10% or 20% refund instead. I wanted a full refund, so persisted. Postage was at my own expense, another $25 later.
The issue lies in the fact that the business presents itself as an Australian company, yet directs customers to return goods to an overseas address in China. They are fully aware that under international shipping protocols, customs clearance fees are payable by the recipient of the parcel in China. They refuse to accept and pay these fees, so they effectively avoid taking possession of returned items and thereby circumvent their obligations to issue refunds for defective or misrepresented products.
This practice appears to be a deliberate attempt to evade consumer protection responsibilities under Australian Consumer Law.

Do not deal with these people no matter what, I ordered a so called tailored pant suit which took so long. Only to receive an item which looked like it came from the charities shop. Then when I wanted to return and refund they gave me an option of 10% refund of the total price when I wouldnt except it it went 20% of the total order. When I wouldnt except that they gave me an address in CHINA to send it back too , me paying the huge postage fee of course. DO NOT WHATEVER U DO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

It’s a scam.
The company address on the website is from Slovakia, the parcel arrives with a return address from UK, but when you ask them to return an item they said the only way is for you to pay tracked delivery to China!
Either that or they give you at 10% discount!
So if you paid £30 for a dress you’re now looking to spend about the same amount to return the item to china. Nowhere in their website says that the item is coming from china, delivery takes ages and the items are so very poor quality it’s unbelievable……!!
I’m gonna claim it back through the bank, it’s the only option.

Does not even desire 1 star, total scam, from china, not ready to provide full refund, and trying to play around with other options. pls do not order from this website, item does not resemble the picture.

This company is a total scam. They state that they are based in Australia Canada and Slovakia…. But they are Chinese, once I saw from the tracking that the goods were coming from China I tried to cancel, but was told it was too late.
When goods arrived they bore no resemblance to the photos shown, the quality is very very poor the wool is scratchy and uncomfortable, and it is far too small despite being described as one size.
I am afraid I have to accept that I will not get my money back and I am very frustrated that these online company continue to get away with daylight robbery.

This company is a scam DO NOT USE. I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered. The coat I recieved is awful , looks absolutely nothing like the photo and is certainly not wool as described. I'm expecting the same response to ship to China, so I have already started the process of raising a dispute via my bank. Hopefully this company will be shut down soon !

i’m Poor quality garments. The returns service is designed to put you off sending back. Be aware you will be asked to return to China. Pay costs. Delays at customs. Terrible experience. Order number 3347.

Update. My money has been returned by the company after I raised a Charge back claim with my bank. If you find yourself in a position like mine. Where the item you purchased isn’t the exact item advertised, you are protected by EU law and have the right to your money back without paying the return to China. Please don’t give into the offer of 10% and 20% refund and keep the item as NOUVAR will offer you.
Update #3321 you last emailed me at 1:30am regarding this and still haven’t provided me with a pre paid label to send the missold item back which you are liable for under EU law. My bank will recover my money, it’s with them now. You know you won’t resolve this issue or you would have done already.

Nouvar advertises that they were founded in Australia. The business address on the website is Slovakia. When I tracked the item I realised it was from China.
The website displays well made clothings so that’s what I expected. It also shows significant discount so you believe your buying at Sale price. What I received was a very poor quality coat that only just resembled what I’d bought and it was extremely to big not the right size or anywhere near it. When I requested to return it I was offered a 10% refund and I could keep the coat. I declined and was then offered 20% discount. I sent another email stating my consumer rights. I pointed out that the website is falsely advertising its products and the companies location. All returns are at cost to the consumer. (It would be significantly cheaper to return to Slovakia) In my case the product was not what I ordered, it doesn’t match the advertisement so surely being missold should not cost me to return. All I have in response from customer service is apologies just like everyone else has but still no resolution. Also their good reviews on here are quite clearly written by the same people. Absolutely awful company.
Please save yourself the inconvenience of losing your money, this company is fraudulent I wish I’d read reviews before I purchased. The website is extremely misleading. At least the likes of SHEIN, TEMU and Ali express offer free returns and charge reasonable prices (you get what you pay for). You can report this company to Slovakia trading standards. The company is drop shipping from China.

Scammers, I successfully disputed via PayPal. Cheap tacky material, based in China (not Australia). Do not be fooled by their rubbish returns policy - you are NOT required to return it to China. The positive reviews left on Trustpilot are clearly AI generated and you'll notice there are several that are repeated. Their sponsored ad has been removed by Google. If you have been duped by these scammers, quote consumer law and raise a dispute, they get fined for it as well as your money back.

DREADFUL!!!!!!! Do not order. All these reviews are accurate. Dress was SO cheap looking when arrived - horrid see through fabric. I tried on multiple times to request a return but they kept telling me it would probably get lost in shipping or customs back to their fulfilment centre in China and to accept ten percent refund and to keep the dress . When I got stroppy and said they were clearly a cheap drop shipping operation they just kept stone walling me but then offered twenty percent to just keep the dress (which I don’t want). I felt I had no choice but to accept or would have probably paid more for the return shipping and never got any money back at all. Very disappointing! DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO oRDeR

Absolutely dreadful cheap nasty from China
Dreadful poor quality bag received weeks after ordering. Chased on numerous occasions with Customer Service who would never answer my direct question as to where it was actually coming from. I asked if it was China but they never answered to this, just skirted around.
The website says “hassle free refunds” - absolutely UNTRUE!! They offered me 10% of value of goods rather than return, or have something else for free but would have to pay the shipping costs (from China) so imagine that would be extortionate or I have to pay for refund back to China but told there is a risk of it getting lost and could take up 4 weeks!!
The whole site should be AVOIDED at all costs, scamming cheap and nasty Chinese rubbish.
ALSO - I have just received an email to rate/review Nouvar by clicking on 1 to 5 stars to rate them. Obviously I went for 1 star - they don’t even deserve that tbh and low & behold it went straight through to their website and said “HAPPY CUSTOMER”!!! So do not be taken in by any positive reviews as these more than likely are fixed and manipulated.
