Not what they appear to be

I contacted Rupert and Josh and they were very friendly. They tried to convince me to spend ~£1500 for training material. When I looked into their background I found a number of legal issues including one in which they defrauded their investors. This is documented by the proceedings from setfords.com (solicitors).

I would hightly discourage anyone from sending them their money

We take genuine feedback seriously, however we cannot match the experience described in this review to our business or sales process.

For clarity, Northern Oak Training does not sell a training course or training materials for approximately £1,500, and prospective clients are not jointly sold to by Rupert and Josh as described in your review. We have also been unable to identify an interaction matching these details.

If you did speak with our team, please provide Trustpilot with the date of the conversation, the contact details you used and details of the product you say was offered, so that we can investigate this properly. We would be more than happy to look into any genuine interaction.

We also strongly reject the allegation that we have "defrauded investors". This is a serious allegation and should not be presented as fact without appropriate evidence.

Rupert is highly experienced in…

Rupert is highly experienced in construction and teaches what he does. Genuinely 'walks the walk'. Something that sets Northern Oak apart from other trainers is...it's free. Yes, I believe they offer 1-to-1 training but they have created a site where valuable information can be viewed and there's a weekly Sunday 5pm open discussion group where a subject is covered and attendees (again, no charge) can ask questions and get answers.

I joined Northernoak Training Community…

I joined Northernoak Training Community a week before the end of August. I had previously been watching an awful lot of online tutorials and even paid for a 2 day zoom webinar. I don’t even think it was live!! The person doing it was more concerned about pushing his own business and everything his members had achieved through his company.
Rupert and Josh, are nothing like that. My partner and I had a great 1-1 video call with Rupert, nothing we asked was too much trouble and really good advice was given.
In their classroom videos, it’s goes through step by step how to do things relating to property.
I’ve learnt more in this short space of time than all the other peoples videos on YouTube.
The community is fabulous and there is good advice from people who are already in property.
I’m sticking with Northernoak, I’ve plenty more to learn but I know the support is there.

Really down to earth, helpful and knowledgeable

Having been a member of the Northern Oak community for quite some time I have found that the content provided was very informative for a new person into property. They were able to provide support and answer questions on the live calls which I found really useful - you don't always ever get to actually speak to someone so this was really refreshing.
I have taken part in different training platforms with little guidance or success but Rupert was really great and directed me in exactly the right path.

Rupert and Joshua are unprofressional and do not offer quality investment advice. They have no experience and for me personally, we lost a lot of money dealing with these two guys

A genuinely valuable property group…

A genuinely valuable property group with practical advice, knowledgeable members and a supportive community. A space where people share real insights rather than empty promises. I've found it well worth being a part of and would happily recommend it to anyone serious about property.
