For us, the winter landscapes are absolutely stunning. The snowy scenery and peaceful atmosphere make it incredibly special and unique. It was completely worth freezing our hands a little haha to capture such beautiful moments.
I have never imagine getting married in such wonderful place in the world. Julio and I had already visited Copenhaguen, but at that moment I had never thought we will decide to marry at Hojerup Kirke. The best day of my life everrr!!

My now Wife comes from Germany and I'm from the US, and we are big fans of History and fantasy. So the idea of getting married in a castle was a dream come true! Every person helped us through the process, and the wedding and trip was so much fun! Thank you very much!

From the beginning until the end a professionell and trustfull support! We lost our hope to get married already but thanks to Lena and her team we could get married on 06.12.25 in Store Hedding. It was a wounderful location and the people around us have been very heartfull and supported us in every belonging!

It has been a very comfortable and satisfying experience. Since we are from another european country, they took care of all the procedures.
From the first day there has been good feedback, since they responded quickly to any questions.
And as for the wedding day, everything was great from the entrance to the Viking museum. A personalised guide who made us a tour, clothes and accessories to choose, games to have fun…
And the best thing is the place of the ceremony with a very intimate, cosy and personal decoration.
Without a doubt, it was a success to have chosen you for this special day in which we could also count on the very important company of our dog.

Wir möchten uns von Herzen bei Lena und besonders bei Florence bedanken. Von Anfang an wurden wir mit Wärme und Verständnis begleitet. Jeder Schritt wurde uns erklärt, und wir fühlten uns nie allein auf diesem Weg.

Besonders die Unterstützung in dieser für uns schweren Zeit war unbezahlbar. Florence hat uns mit so viel Geduld und Fürsorge durch den gesamten Prozess geführt, sodass wir uns stets sicher und getragen fühlten.

Die eigentliche Trauung in Thisted war für uns ein unvergesslich schöner Moment – schlicht, herzlich und voller Liebe. Es war genau das Richtige für uns, und wir werden diesen Tag für immer in unseren Herzen tragen.

Lena und Florence haben uns nicht nur geholfen, sondern uns auf eine sehr persönliche Weise begleitet, die wir nie vergessen werden. Dafür sind wir zutiefst dankbar.

I am an English woman now married to my German husband. After finding out we were pregnant, we wanted to marry quickly and without the endless stress of paperwork that an EU / non-EU setup can bring. Germany wanted a ton of paperwork, and we wouldn't have been able to marry in time for our baby's arrival. We decided to go down the Danish route, and on a Sunday afternoon, I sent an email to Nordic Wedding Adventure. I got an immediate reply and a clear set of instructions. They were super helpful and available in real time over WhatsApp when we were sorting our document list for the application. Very clear in what to send. Ten days later, we had our wedding date. We married in Vordingborg town hall (an hour outside of Copenhagen), and it was very charming - the process was simple, sweet, and completely stress-free. Exactly what we needed to start our life as a family :)

We had an amazing elopement! Everything was beautifully organized and stress-free. The flowers were beautiful, the wedding photos are stunning, the views on the location are breathtaking! Highly recommend for a unique and memorable wedding!

We found the company around a year ago, and after reviewing the offer packages, we knew this is the company we want to help us plan our biggest adventure of our lifetime. Ever since then, everything was very smooth - from documentation part to planning little details of our wedding. The wedding day itself went by really smooth, if we would have to it again, we wouldnt do it any different. The forest location was absoliutelly stunning, the food and cakes were one of the best we have ever tasted.

We can not thank Lena and Rick enough for making our day absolutely perfect! Where to begin- the location was out of a fairytale and the Service was amazing! Thank you for making our wedding the greatest day of our life and having everything planned to perfection 🤗 we would do it all over again if we could!

From the start, Lena and her colleagues have been incredibly supportive, extremely quick to respond, and professional with their organisation. Lena and her team have also handled all of the legal stuff in the background, and documents have been efficiently officiated, signed, checked, and sent to us quickly so that we can quickly start the legal processes in Germany.

From being picked up in Copenhagen to being dropped off again two days later, everything was handled, including drinks, delicious food in vast quantities, decoration, a tour of the area, a luxurious hotel room, a photographer, and organising with the officiant. Unfortunately, the weather let us down a little on the day, however Nordic Adventures secured a dry location should we have desired to move inside. In the end we were lucky enough to catch a dry break between rain storms to conduct the ceremony in the park. One very minor criticism, is that the chosen location was more of a park than a forest, although Nordic Adventures found a beautiful spot between some trees and the team decorated it thoughtfully. When the weather started to turn again, the hotel were generous enough to let us spend some time with our guests in their library and even provided bottled water.

All in all, we have had a great experience, and highly recommend Nordic Adventure Weddings to anybody getting married in Denmark.

Mein Mann und ich wollten gern heiraten, doch durch die massive Bürokratie in Deutschland war uns nicht möglich, das in Deutschland zu tun, zudem wäre es in Deutschland auch noch sehr teuer gewesen und hätte sehr lange gedauert. Deshalb entschieden wir uns dafür, in Dänemark zu heiraten und haben uns an nordic adventure weddings gewandt. Alles ging super schnell und unbürokratisch und auch preislich machbar. Dazu ist das Team sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Leider hatten wir, als wir zurück in Deutschland waren wieder mal Probleme mit unserem Standesamt. Dort weigert man sich, die ausgestellte Urkunde über unsere Hochzeit zu akzeptieren und somit wird auch alles andere blockiert (Änderung des Familiennamens, Änderung der Lohnsteuerklassen etc). Wir hatten gehofft, dass durch das Haager Abkommen die Bürokratie und Kosten gemindert werden könnten, doch Dtl ist so rassistisch mittlerweile, dass dort auf Unterlagen bestanden wird, die eigentlich schon alle in Dänemark eingereicht wurden. Für Dtl müssen diese Unterlagen dann natürlich auch noch übersetzt und beglaubigt werden, da nur deutsche Dokumente akzeptiert werden. Wir haben beschlossen, dass nun jeder seinen Nachnamen behält und wir nicht wieder zum Standesamt zurückgehen, da wir deren Spielchen nicht mitmachen. Verheiratet sind wir, ob es unser Standesamt akzeptiert oder nicht.

My now-husband and I booked the Hideaway wedding package because it sounded like it would suit us so well - the solitude and calm and peace of the forest, in our own private treehouse. We are so glad we made that choice.

Everything felt smooth, like we were in our own surreal little dream - collected from the airport by Ahmed, driven away from Copenhagen to the woods to our own quiet clearing with the beautiful elevated treehouse above. We were there welcomed by Eli who had prepared us some delicious food and wine in the fridge, more than enough breakfast for the following day, and showed us around with such warm hospitality, she explained and showed the hygge to us! Then we had a great tour of the forest and its history by a local guide, and then it was just the two of us, alone in the forest as dusk set in, and we listened to the birds and watched the light fade through the trees from our house full of windows. There could be nothing more perfect than that, instead of the hustle and bustle and stress you’d feel ahead of a regular big wedding, instead a truly romantic setting, a chance to be just the two of you, in the middle of nature. The whole place to yourselves. And the most comfortable bed in a wonderfully designed room, and amazing nights sleep!

The wedding day the next day passed like a dream - slowly getting ready in one another’s company in the morning, then as the happy butterflies in the stomach began we were met late morning by the wonderful Catalina who took photos and made us feel so at ease, as she played music for us and we danced in the forest, then were transported by Catalina and Andre the short journey to our wedding location, in a clearing by an old bathing house next to the fjord, so peaceful, calm and tranquil was the day, the water so incredibly still. We met Lena and Carsten who welcomed us warmly, and then our officiant Thomas, who read a lovely speech, before we exchanged our own words, our rings, and a few tears, in front of these kind and welcoming strangers. Andre kindly filmed on my phone (very professionally) so that we could share our moment with close family back home. We danced to ‘our’ song next to the water. We didn’t need to worry about welcoming 100 guests and dividing our time, it felt like it was all about the two of us - beautiful, intimate, peaceful. We followed with wonderful champagne and some fun photos on the beach, and we were swept along by the surreal and beautifully peaceful environment that our planners had created for us, feeling like - aside from the company of the few people who were there - like we were the only two people in the world.

By early afternoon we were married! Said goodbye to everyone and had the entire afternoon and evening to ourselves, back in nature at our treehouse with views of the fjord and forest, had a wonderful walk through the woods before dusk, listening to the birds, with Eli arriving with an incredible 3 course meal at a designated time. One of us is vegetarian and she prepared an incredibly tasty meal (her apple and rose trifle was absolutely to die for and completed the day perfectly).

It was like a fairytale. It feels unique, warm. I think anyone who wishes to spend truly happy and relaxed time together on their wedding day, you would not go wrong with the Hideaway package. All the legalities were taken care of ahead of time, and communication to make the arrangements was professional and relaxed - so all we needed to do was show up, get ourselves ready and remember the rings! We can’t wait to see the photos.

We want just cool location and have a good time...
been a year, and it's always hard to understand how the best day of your life becomes the day you want to forget.
As a wedding planner, the person is completely not made for it. No planing at all!
It started with the documents.
At first the quality was too bad, then the quality was too good and they kept asking for more copies. It made us suspicious that it could be scam. And our data is being sold elsewhere.
Where the documents were clarified. They started questioning the photos. And although we showed that we live together at the same address and have done so for several years, we were asked to show whatsapp chat, which we don't even use!
If that wasn't enough... Hair, make up, accommodation, photographer. We were given phone numbers to call or had to look for them ourselves. We keep ask ourselves for what we have a wedding planner at all! The recommended make up artist didn't even know that someone had passed the contact to us.
And then it should be The Time of most beautiful moment
We drove to the church and it started to rain. We didn't think much of it because the wedding planner assured us that she had umbrellas with her. We get to the parking and no one is waiting for us!
The wedding planner (because it was raining) was waiting for us with umbrellas in the chapel!!!
You think it couldn't get worse...
Our song supposed to be played in the chapel - wrong - she didn't bring it !! Even no information about it!!
Afterwards we asked for a video call because not all guests could be there - only lame excuses bla bla it wouldn't work. After a long discussion we finally got a record...with our own cell phone and photographer guy like asleep!
Here should be our two-tier cake, we got some cake á la apple pie from bilka for 100DKK with the coment "that it is traditional from Denmark". You can eat the cake on weekends in the forest far away from people. It's not even a tradition from Denmark. Disgusting
The flower decoration was also very "traditional". The flowers on the road what we passed looked much better then what we got.

Here we come to the photographer (a friend of wedding planner). Most of the time they was talking russian and laughed out loud (God knows who they were laughing at, and who was the joke)!
We had to drive the photographer for our own photo shoot. Finally, the photographer sent us the RAW files over some online platform after a delay of over a month. He didn't even make a photo album or a collage or anything else.
The icing on the cake: although we paid so many hundreds of euros, we still had to pay for the parking ourselves (a few DKK). Underground level of planing!!! The worst wedding planner ever!

I can't understand at all (after we found the page) that we are the only ones with such experience.

If you want to have a special and unique wedding in the Danish Forrest then Nordic Adventure Weddings is the right choice!

We booked the Hide Away Package in the Forrest and it was just perfect. The tree house is clean and is a great experience if you love the nature and the silence.

Lena and her whole team are so nice and fullfilled all of our wishes. Also the food they offered us was very delicious. We are vegans and it was sooo good what they served us.

We could recommend it without a bad conscienc to every foreign couple!
