The company is the worst I have ever used. They automatically take 2 payments even if you only click the one purchase option. Customer service get back to you whenever they feel like. You do not get the refund that you paid absolutely shocking company . Stay well clar
gekauft, getestet, Ergebnis negativ . Außer der Spitze ist ist das Messer nicht wirklich gefährlich. Die Werbung zu diesem Messer entspricht der Realität in kleinster Weise. Tomaten in so dünne Scheiben schneiden hab ich noch mit keinem Messer geschafft. PET- Flascher zerschlagen = träum weiter!!! ......Ich wollte einenSpeck in Scheiben schneiden. geht nicht. kein Einschnitt zu sehen. nur Speck kitzeln!!!!
It seems that the scam by Matsato has worldwide dimensions. I live in the Netherlands. Last year (Dec. 26) I purchased a knife and some days later, a leather case for it. I haven't received any of them. I have been complaining since then and Matsato and the Dutch courier GLS have only given me stalling and slippery answers. I wanted to cancel both orders but MATSATO says it is only possible after I receive the items. The courier GLS Netherlands, where I live, give contradictory answers and pull the responsibility to MATSATO. MATSATO does the same thing. I requested many times tha MATSATO contact the courier, but it says that "under their policy", they cannot make contact the couriers they themselves hire! It's a preposterous and ridiculous answer. I am entitled to say that it is a big scam.
The leather sheath was delivered in the end of January and on the very same day I filled a return form, requesting information on how to proceed to send it back, as it was a useless item, since the knife (I bought long before) has never arrived.
Up to date, despite the automatic apologies and promises received from MATSATO, the situation still persists; not only hasn't the knife arrived, but also my request for return of the leather sheath has never been replied.

Am 11.12.2025 Bestellung aufgegeben & via PayPal bezahlt (Best Nr CON-20251211-3232).
Bis heute (03.01.2026) keine Lieferung erhalten.
Bei einer (angeblichen) Tracking-Nummer (GLS) wird angezeigt, dass die Sendung angeblich am 30.12.2025 an den Absender zurückging. Die Adresse war korrekt - andere GLS-Lieferungen haben uns erreicht. Eine Rückerstattung ist bisher nicht erfolgt.
Daher eine E-Mail an den Support gesandt. Ich aktualisiere diesen Bericht.

BEWARE! Cancelled order within their 24 hr cancelation period, 10 hrs to spare. Matsato ignored even though I had proof. Returned 4 items unopened and have evidence (Tracing number photos). They neither acknowledged receipt or issued a refund. Hours spent seeking refund with PayPal. Good luck with either of these companies. Highly unethical.
Matsato seems to be a scam company. I have tried to return all three orders of stuff, I didn't order! They have withdrawn more than 200 euros from my account! So far, I've received two speedy responses from the "support" e-mail (which, for information, does not come up in your e-mails when you search for "Matsato" in your inbox, it's listed under "support") - but: so far no information on how to return the goods. PLUS: I have been charged for a total of three knives which I did not order, don't want, but have been charged for. They better get their act together and provide information on how to return this stuff, including payments for it, since they owe me money for what they have charged me for. I want my money back.
UPDATE: I just received the FOURTH e-mail from the so-called support, about them wanting to "confirm that I want to withdraw the packages" etc. etc. JUST SEND ME THE GOD DAMNED RETURN PROCEDURE, MATSATO! I WANT TO RETURN EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE BILLED ME FOR, IMMEDIATELY!
Update on the Matsato Rip-Off. These guys take your money and then try to distract you with long, flowery messages.

You need an investigation? Really. Anyway, don't worry. I sent my credit card company after you and they have taken the money out of your account. I recommend this approach for Matsato, a fly by night company that will undoubtedly return soon with a new name and something else they want to 'sell' you.
