Neli photographed our recent wedding in Denmark and we are so happy we found her! It was an absolute pleasure working with her. At every step in the process, she was kind and friendly. She listened to our ideas and helped us craft the perfect wedding photoshoot. And it was wonderful working with her and her expertise during our wedding. Neli took photos of our wedding ceremony in Denmark, and our wedding portraits. She was lovely, considerate and thoughtful. We had a fantastic experience shooting the portrait images with her - in every corner of the island. After our wedding we recieved the photos very quickly, and upon viewing them, each photo was more perfect than the other. I especially admired how the collection of photos truly told the story of our wedding day - from beginning to end.

She really loves her job and you feel it with the way she does it. Her focus was fully on us as a couple to make sure that we are feeling comfortable during the photoshoot(which was the first time for us so the experience is not natural in the beginning, and slowly we opened up to it), she does it professionally and gives a calming attitude that is easy to feel comfortable around.

Sie hat ein unglaubliches Auge für Details und schafft es, die Emotionen und die Persönlichkeit der Menschen auf ganz natürliche Weise einzufangen. Unsere Hochzeitsfotos sind wunderschön geworden, und unsere gesamte Familie und Freund:innen sagen uns, wie natürlich die Bilder wirken und dass sie überhaupt nicht gestellt aussehen.

Da wir beide eher kamerascheu sind, waren wir vor dem Fotoshooting etwas unsicher! Neli hat es aber geschafft, uns von Anfang an ein gutes Gefühl zu geben. Durch ihre ruhige und herzliche Art war das Shooting entspannt und hat uns sogar richtig viel Spaß gemacht.

Schon vor der Hochzeit hat sie sich die Zeit genommen, um unsere Wünsche mit uns zu besprechen. Sie ist auf all unsere Vorstellungen eingegangen und hat auch Sonderwünschen wie zum Beispiel unseren Wunsch nach besonderen Fotos von unseren Eheringen, berücksichtigt.

From the very beginning, the communication was absolutely perfect. Everything was organized so well, and Neli was always friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful, making the entire process completely stress-free.

We wanted our wedding photography to be completely natural, candid, and entirely free of "cheesy posing"—and Neli delivered exactly that and so much more.

On our wedding day, Mother Nature threw us a serious curveball with considerable rain and intense wind. It could have easily been a stressful situation, but Neli brought an incredible, infectious energy to the equation that completely turned the day around. She went above and beyond in every way, giving us her absolute best to accommodate our needs. She was incredibly patient, creative, and hyper-focused on finding gorgeous, sheltered spots around the island so we could get breathtaking pictures without ending up soaking wet.

Beyond her skills and deep local knowledge, what truly set Neli apart was how deeply she cared about us. In an intimate elopement, the energy of your photographer matters immensely. Working with Neli felt like being with a lifelong friend or a close family member who was genuinely invested in our love story and protected our special moment.

Despite the wild weather, the final product was absolutely spectacular and with a specific emotional tone that we feel we simply couldn't have found elsewhere. She managed to capture us in our true essence and that can be easily felt by those who know us.

Neli was absolutely fabulous. She captured such beautiful photos and made sure we had a great variety of shots in different lighting, which was especially appreciated as it ended up being incredibly sunny on our wedding day!

She made us feel completely at ease, and most of the time we didn’t even realise she was there, which meant she captured so many genuinely candid moments. We are so, so pleased with the photos, and we were amazed to receive them the very next day- such an incredible turnaround.

Right from the beginning, it was clear that you put your soul into what you do. The communication was kind and flawless, and so many of our ideas came true at the end. Neli ist eine fantastische Fotografin. Wir haben sie für unsere Hochzeit auf Æro gebucht, weil sie uns von Danish Island Weddings empfohlen wurde und ihre Bilder auf Instagram und in ihrem Portfolio super schön und natürlich aussahen.
Wir mögen es eigentlich nicht, fotografiert zu werden und deshalb hatte vor allem ich etwas Angst vor dem Shooting. Das war völlig unbegründet. Wir mussten kaum posieren für Fotos, wir sollten einfach nur den Tag genießen und so sein, wie sonst auch. Man hat Neli im Hintergrund kaum bemerkt und wir waren überrascht, in wie vielen Situationen sie Fotos gemacht hat, ohne dass wir das bewusst mitbekommen haben. Es hat total Spaß gemacht mit ihr und gleichzeitig war sie super professionell. Die Galerie war schon wenige Tage nach der Hochzeit fertig und wir sind einfach nur überglücklich mit den Bildern. Sie sind so natürlich, ästhetisch und einfach wunderschön. Die Emotionen wurden perfekt eingefangen! Wir können Neli wirklich jedem wärmstens empfehlen und würden uns jederzeit wieder für sie als Fotografin entscheiden!

Working with Neli was a significant portion of what made our day on Ærø so special! She is amazing at what she does but she also makes it so FUN! We are a bit camera shy but she made the whole experience feel so authentic and uniquely ‘us’. It is such a gift to have imagines that authentically capture the feeling of our day. And her familiarity with the island is such a fantastic bonus again! Cannot recommend her enough!! It was by far one of the best choice we made!!

My husband and I got married at the end of April, and Neli helped capture every magical moment of it!

We first met Neli over email exchanges, in which she was very prompt and helpful, providing plenty of information to help ensure she could help us with our wedding day vision (we were not picky and she was very flexible and had a lot of ideas in mind already to help guide us!)

Once we arrived to the island we met with her the day before our wedding where she walked us through her plan for the day, some tips and go over any special requests from my husband and I. Super helpful and was lovely to meet beforehand to make sure we were all on the same page.

Day of, Neli arrived before us to get some shots of the area and our arrival. She helped to guide us when needed, but often encouraged us to just be in the moment and she took care of the rest! We loved how natural and non-posed the photos turned out. They really capture the romance and beauty of the day.

She returned the photos very quickly and they were easy to access and share with family and friends. Since we were eloping with no other family there, this was super helpful for us to share these moments easily with our loved ones.

Overall, Neli helped guide us through the day and kept us relaxed and comfortable, providing some instruction when needed which we much appreciated! She’s such a lovely person to chat with and we’re so happy with how our photos turned out. Highly recommend!

We highly, highly recommend Neli, not only is she easy to work with but the pictures she takes are amazing. We are thrilled with our wedding photos, which capture the day and us as a couple perfectly. It was easy to work with Neli, prior to the wedding she quickly responded to messages and did a virtual meeting to discuss pictures and expectations. The day before the wedding she provided an overview of the run of day, which helped us understand what to expect. After the wedding she communicated on when to expect the pictures, how to use the site, and sent some initial teaser pictures. We got the rest of the pictures back fast. We are so glad we had Neli photograph our day.

We were lucky enough to find Neli while planning our elopement to the beautiful Aero Island by a chatGPT recommendation. Her pictures speak for themselves and a single email exchange made us certain she was the photographer for us. Her warmth and professionalism shone out in every message we exchanged and we were confident that she would capture the wedding perfectly from her portfolio.

What we didn't know was what an important part of the day she would play, quietly pottering around, waiting to capture every secret glance, the tears of joy you didn't know you would fall, the stolen moments that you couldn't even have imagined and yet never once making us feeling vulnerable, exposed or intruded upon. She is a silent witness to tender moments, steering the day gently in the direction we had described to her in our initial correspondence, but constantly monitoring the way the day panned out, with weather and locations, tailoring the options & just creating the space for the perfect opportunities to unfold, and then waiting to capture it all on her camera. The pictures show depths of moments that you couldn't even feel in real time, just so incredible.

When you elope you leave a lot to chance, going somewhere far away, so much to plan and think about - and for us, just the two of us, going somewhere new - never having met the people who would be involved in making the day special. We could not have wanted for more from Neli, she was so much more than a photographer, she ended up as bridesmaid, witness, hair reviewer, veil straightener, confidante, advise giver - and in a wedding car disaster - even ended up being our chauffeur, she took it all in her stride, nothing was too much trouble.

A complete professional and a beautiful soul that it was a pleasure to have with us on our special day, we will never forget the day and we won't have to, as Neli captured every single moment in her photos. We can not thank her, or recommend her highly enough.

Hiring Neli as our wedding photographer was a smart move. She provided confidence that we would have excellent, memorable photos of the day.

My wife was traveling from Ukraine. I traveled from the US. And then we traveled together from Copenhagen to the island for the wedding.

It helped tremendously to be able to communicate effectively with Neli early on, and as needed until the ceremony itself. And the photos rewarded our judgment. Neli took not only excellent photos of my wife and me -- taking excellent photos of my wife is pretty easy. Me?... -- but also of the wedding venue, and of the town, which provided a beautiful context for getting married there, even in winter.

With all of the logistics involved in getting married in a foreign country, I was glad to be able to check "find a wedding photographer" off of our list early on.

Neli is wonderful to work with. She always has a smile and is willing to lay on the ground in order to get 'the perfect angle'. She is also easy to get in touch with, and was open to our requests.
