I had used Aloha for a very long time about 12 years maybe but now itâs going down the hill like never before. Customer service and tech-support are really bad now. Iâm thinking of switching over to toast.
This company signs you up for a contract without your permission, POS system is faulty and does not operate properly. Once you try to cancel you find out and Aloha representative signed you up for a 3 year contract. Taking legal action against this company!
David Montgomery and his team sold me a bill of goods. Lots of promises of significant savings across all sorts of cards. Wrong. My bill went up! David shame on you.
Service is so slow. Lose a POS terminal or printer? Call them immediately. First person just acknowledges the issue and starts a case. Takes 3-4 business days before someone calls to ask you to repeat what your problem is. Takes another 3-4 days before they actually send you a quote and request for payment on a replacement. Takes another 3-6 days to actually show up. If it is a POS terminal, then you need to wait another 3-6 days for a tech to come set it up. No one in this company has worked in a restaurant obviously.

The worst experience one small business owner never should endure. Have been with Aloha for 14 years. Finally gave in to there new platform. What a disaster!!! Signed contract March 2024 and still to this day Iâm fighting with them to make it right. Their customer service is horrible!!! You canât get a local rep to come see you. There management team in Atlanta just makes promises but never follow thru. All I ask is for them to come on site and see the system they installed. Iâve spent at least 80-100 hours dealing with the installation and the end product is junk!! From the way they installed (they blame on there contracted employee) to the final product that is total crap.
