I would not recommend Nautilus Marketing based on my experience with them.

I engaged Nautilus for a number of services and paid them a substantial amount of money. Unfortunately, my experience was characterised by poor communication, a lack of transparency, and serious problems with delivery and the quality of work provided.

Among the work commissioned were websites and video projects. In the end, I personally had to rebuild both websites after I did not receive the completed live sites, appropriate administrative access, or the final handover I expected. There were also issues with the completion and final delivery of video work that had been paid for in full. To this day, I have still not received that completed work. Hosting that I had also paid for was never activated or used.

I eventually terminated the engagement. There was then a dispute concerning money remaining on account. My records showed a $6,500 credit, against which I accepted that $1,800 was payable, leaving $4,700 that I requested be returned. Despite extensive correspondence, the matter was not resolved to my satisfaction.

What disappointed me most was not simply that things went wrong — problems can happen in any business relationship — but how those problems were handled when I raised them. In my experience, the communication, accountability, and standard of delivery were well below what I expected given the amount of money involved.

Based on my experience, I would not use Nautilus Marketing again.

One lesson I have taken from this experience is that I would never again pay substantial amounts upfront for work of this nature. Anyone considering working with Nautilus should ensure that deliverables, deadlines, ownership, access, and handover requirements are clearly documented, and I would strongly recommend structuring payments against defined milestones rather than paying for substantial amounts of work in advance.
