I booked the appointment through the insurance company. They were due to come to the house to replace the windscreen but when the technician arrived it was raining lightly and he said he couldn’t do it because the gazebo he had was broken he asked me to make another appointment I didn’t want to do this because I had taken a day off work and already waited two weeks I arranged to meet him at the centre in Colchester a couple hours later where I waited for two hours while it was done. The heater connections to the heated front windscreen are now visible and not hidden by the trim panels along with what looks like adhesive that is visible on the inside of the windscreen The inside of the car had bits and dust and I had to hoover when I got home. Yesterday when I got in the car there is a little black box on the windscreen inside that had fallen off I think this will happen again as the heat has caused this so I wouldn’t recommend the company but would be grateful if someone could call me regarding the box that has fallen off as we are not sure what it is and it obviously needs fixing

This was the third attempt at replacing the windscreen, however the first time was to repair (not possible), second time it rained, third time all went to plan. On time and issue resolved.

We booked in for a rear windscreen replacement a week before and took the day off work. We booked an afternoon slot. 2 hours in to the afternoon slot I got a phone call saying they wouldn’t be coming to do the replacement as it was a 2 person job but the second person won’t make it back from their other jobs. No apology, no attempt to understand the disruption and disappointment. I asked if we could be booked on for a home repair the following day as they were cancelling on us I was told that can’t happen and the next appointment was in 12 days time. When I explained that wasn’t acceptable especially as you were cancelling on us I got told we could drive it to Colchester to be replaced that afternoon or we would have to wait. This was not a repair with a chip but a whole replacement as the entire rear windscreen was shattered and there was no glass at all in place. Our first experience with your company and I’m not sure I wish for another experience. Your team need to work on their job planning and customer communication skills.

Bit of a poor start when the location manager told his guys he was sick, so opening the workshop was delayed. Other than that experience was great. Your glass technician did a great job and kept me updated on progress.

Appointment booking and the repair of the chip were all tackled very efficiently and professionally.
