NACA is a great program that teaches you about saving, budgeting and buying a home. The advisors are great and helped educate along the way. I would recommend to anyone.

Mrs. Barbara in the Columbia office is the BEST. She actually took her time to assist me. She didn't just point me in the direction I should go; she logged in and walked me through step by step. Oh, and let me not forget, she always was at her desk to answer that phone. I think God told her that I was calling.

NACA has been a great program so far. I’m still in the qualification process, and while it takes patience and organization, the support and guidance make it worth it.

I was really excited when I found out about the NACA program. I did my research and found it to be know for its impact and not for its speed. I have been going through the process about a year, only because at the beginning I worked at a certain salary and got laid off due to the company moving to Mexico. Even with that the process has gone smoothly. If you maintain your documents there are no excuses. My only caveat is that my realtor is so far away there are really no boots on the ground expect my own in my neighborhood/housing search. I would suggest getting someone who is local. They have where your realtor can get temporarily NACA certified so you can close. Overall it has been a decent experience for me, and I’m ready to find a property and close. I also absolutely love that they are stern on affordability, they are not going to put you in a house that you can’t afford to maintain. Don’t want to me house rich and cash poor.

Gives you a great understanding the underwriting process. And I have an understanding counselor who is patient and very accommodating.

My experience with my counselor, Antonio, at NACA has been wonderful. He has been supportive, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer my questions throughout the process. He takes the time to explain each step and makes sure I understand what’s needed to stay on track.

The process does take effort and time, but with Antonio’s guidance, it feels manageable and worthwhile. If you stay committed and follow the steps, the program can really help you move closer to your homeownership goals. I appreciate the encouragement and professionalism I’ve received so far.

This is my first experience with NACA. I did the online orientation and was paired with Ellen Petersen. She is professional, thorough, patient, and caring . Ms. Petersen helped me through the paperwork process with ease and understanding. She made herself available to me for any questions or obstacles I may have had. I am looking forward to purchasing my first home through the NACA program.

My NACA intake session went extremely well. My counselor was beyond knowledgeable and very patient during the entire process. I feel better about the process.

I've been working with Ms. DeLaOz to begin my process and she's been very helpful. She is very informed and informative, clear and concise in communicating, and very down to earth. She makes the process seamless and not seem like just putting a bunch of forms together. Very helpful.

Well when I walked in I was overwhelmed by the number of people waiting, however there were different sections for different stages of processing, and it moved rather fast and smooth. I was interviewed by Ms. Ellen P,who was absolutely wonderful, Professional, thorough, patient, and expicit, she didn't mind being asked questions for clarity. I observed staff as I sat waiting, energy was very positive, they enjoyed what they were doing.

Our counselor Ellen Peterson was very patient and informative of each step we went over in the members portal, explaining what documents she needed and why, not getting upset when we had questions, but taking the time to explain so that we understood what our next steps to homeownership would look like. We had a couple of missteps that needed to be corrected on our end, but because Ellen explained everything so efficiently we were able to handle everything that we needed within the time frame allowed. Thank you for having the tools and resources to help, and explain our next steps with us in detail. It is very much appreciated.
