I am pleased with the honest service this company gives. There was a delay in receiving the product due to external circumstances which was communicated to me in due course. The fragrance has arrived today. It has been worth the wait.

Ordered 11th July still waiting for my order. Originally told that they were struggling to get flights here now been told they're a small company and had a large number of orders so struggling to get supply. They state on their website that they ship from their Auckland Warehouse but they do not. This shouldn't be allowed

Recently made an order but the item was unavailable due to stock shortage and one of their customer service representatives, Nicole, was extremely accommodating and had a sense of agency when trying to find an exchange for me.

More than a month waiting for my order, When I contacted after a month, they said that don't have it in stock, I'm asking for my money back and they don't answer me..
So bad ! Please don't buy anything from them. Really bad company..

Terrible as someone who buys a lot of perfume all the time I will never ever ever ever ever buy from this business ever again.
Ordered some perfume received no confirmation no shipping no nothing. Emailed them multiple times asking look can you please locate this? Sent them proof of purchase from my bank. Keep replying with generic responses. Nothing got resolved so I took my money. No product. Please be aware as you cannot even communicate with this business to get a straight answer.

No issues with delivery. They respond to emails in time. Happy with the service and product

Honestly takes a lot of patience to go through this company, edited my initial review as I finally received my package after a lot of back and forth.
The perfumes I got were authentic and packaging was solid.
Really wished their delivery service and online stock is up to date.
I'll give them a 5 star if my next order comes through timely. Not delayed by 2 weeks of the delivery by date.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend My Perfume Shop after my experience.

I placed an order on 18 August believing I was purchasing an available product through their NZ website. When I questioned why a supposedly NZ-based order was going to take so long to arrive, I was told they were dealing with limited cargo flights and transferring stock from the Middle East.

They then told me the item was actually a “pre-order”. I went back and checked and could not find anywhere that clearly stated I was purchasing a pre-order item.

What frustrated me most was trying to get a straight answer about whether my item was actually stocked in New Zealand. I asked this multiple times and never received a clear answer. Instead, I was eventually told that the pre-order information had been shown to me three times and “I’m not sure why you didn’t notice on 3 occasions.” I found that pretty condescending considering I was simply trying to understand where an order I had paid for was actually coming from.

They then told me they have warehouses in Auckland and Sydney — which, again, didn’t answer whether my item was ever in the Auckland warehouse.

The original delivery estimate was 29 August–4 September. It’s now 5 September and I’ve cancelled the order.

Whether their customer service responses are automated/AI-generated or not, I don’t know, but the replies certainly felt repetitive and repeatedly failed to answer a very simple question.

Overall, a really frustrating experience. Poor communication, unclear information around the supposed “pre-order”, and customer service that left me with more questions than answers. I won’t be ordering from them again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
Bought a Boss perfume set, got a message back after many attempts to contact them over a period of about a month. Said they didn’t have it anymore and that I can have store credit and all that bullshit, refused to give a refund. Ultimately sent me a rip off Azzaro perfume, and it smells like SHEIT!!

Was a bit dubious when I ordered as I thought it was coming from Auckland said arrival between 22nd and 28th August (3 weeks after ordering) which I thought was a bit long as I am in Auckland. But lo and behold it did arrive between these dates so was very happy so was my husband as it was his favourite aftershave.

There is no problem with the product. But I am not impressed with your service. Please specify a date when the parcel will be received. Don't lie.

My main complaint is that my order took far too long to arrive. But, on a more positive note, I have to say that the company did respond to my messages and kept me updated so I have no complaints about that.
