We joined My Online Schooling this September and the experience has been life changing!! The teachers are wonderful, our children are thrilled and we have more quality time in our family.
Our children are learning, learning skills like time management and becoming more efficient independent learners.
I absolutely recommend My Online Schooling!!

Our experience of MyOnlineSchooling has been excellent. The lessons are very well structured to a very good level of teching, all the admin staff are very helpful and it's a very well run online school with plenty of options for pupils that wish to do additional out of lesson clubs etc.

Well organised school with dedicated staff who listen to individual needs and act on them immediately. There are termly tests and regular homeostasis homework and ongoing assessments as well as access to lessons after the live teaching sessions. Mrs Ahmed and Mrs Mahmoud for Science in KS3 as well as Mrs Jaganathan for Maths have particularly stood out and have had an excellent teaching methods.

As well as teaching the mainstream and there is Mandarin and Arabic among the various array of subject offering available.

The school is excellent value for money as compared to others because their lessons are an hour long as opposed to others who offer only 45 min lessons plus they have a multitude of after school activities for free for anyone who wishes to do fun science experiments or debate club or journalism or even virtual football!!

It is a stress-free school environment which is a great option for those who have a good Internet connection and wish to pick and choose their own subjects rather than follow mainstream curriculum which does not suit everyone.

Our daughter is at MOS and has been there for about 3 years. She is in Year 12 and her English teacher is superb! Our daughter has had this teacher for three years and the development in her written work and understanding of English is unbelievable. She loves the lesson content and enjoys the structured way in which the teacher presents the lessons and explains what is expected of the students. Alison encourages the students and has an amazing sense of humour. Our daughter's description of her teacher: Alison is inspiring. Her enthusiasm generates my enthusiasm and it makes me want to succeed. She is awsome!

We were initially skeptical and felt desperate for online learning solutions for our family. We did have a poor experience initially with the children in this school. However, we found the school really receptive to feedback and feel as a school they have really improved to become a safe and welcoming place.
The quality of teaching in Year 5 is incredibly good and lessons are all of a high quality with continuity across all subjects. Excellent assignments with thoughtful feedback for each piece of submitted work. You can get a lot out of this school and I feel we are part of the journey of improving it even further.

A wonderful first year at MOS!

A very good experience for my son who had a great time studying in Year 4 and is already looking forward to year 5 with MOS.

My son had never studied in an environment where English is used to teach the majority of the subjects. He was able to quickly adapt and really enjoyed the whole year and managed to keep a 99% attendance record throughout 2020/2021!

My daughter has attended grade 4 in 2020/2021. She started out as a beginner English speaker, in a totally new system and a very different context: on line, huge multicultural exposure compared to local schools, different time zone, different curriculum, different teaching style. I am continually amazed at how well it has worked out. She ended the year proficient in English and very confident in her language skills, with no additional help from us or her teacher. She has made friends, she has experienced a way of teaching totally new to her (and us, for that matter, given out communist and post communist experience) and she is thriving! She shows confidence in her judgement and courage to ask and challenge theories (totally different attitude), she has owned back her creativity and enjoyed painting and drawing.

The teachers are amaizing and they do a great job at delivering content and meaning; children genuinely thrive and feel empowered - or at least mine does.

Regarding my relation with the school and their staff, I am very happy, my hopes are answered before I take the time to ask, management and customer care are flawless. I am sure I can trust them to keep me informed and do the best job.

Having only joined 'My Online Schooling' since the start of this year, I have found that my child has learnt more in the past few months than they had in the whole of 2020 within a State School setting. The school is professionally run and it is great that the classes are 'live' with class participation and break out rooms for group work to take place. Our child has found the 'Canvas' section easy to navigate around as this is where you log into a classroom and where the homework is located. We will be returning to My Online Schooling for the start of the new academic year in September 2021.

Our daughter, Emma, joined Year 10 at MOS at the beginning of November 2020 and we are very happy we made the move. Emma's grades have improved significantly, she's enjoying the classes and says that MOS feels like more of a community than her physical school!

My daughter has suffered at MOS.. The school hasn't taken the racism, bullying and classroom management seriously enough and have threatned my wife with legal action for publicly sharing her experience which she only did because she was being stonewalled.
It's bad seeing my daughter like this. School should have a positive affect not negative especially with a pupil who is quiet, thoughtful and a A grade student, who didn't deserve to be treated like that.
Against my wishes, my wife gave the school a second-chance after the first racist incident. She was ready to work with them to improve things but all she got was an empty promise from the owner Tom Crombie. When incidents started with the second teacher I asked my wife to take our girl out of the school but at the time having a continuous education was important and my wife was hopeful that things would get sorted out which has not happened.
The school is not Ofsted registered and there's no local authority. The owner and his managers can't be trusted. Literally this school can do whatever it likes.
When I say its been a bit of a nightmate I'm not exaggerating and as a father I feel like I failed my daughter. I regret not moving her.

With the Covid pandemic causing brick and mortar schools to switch to online learning so suddenly, we were concerned about the quality of education our son would receive. Which brought us to our decision to enroll him with my online schooling. We have had such a positive experience this year (high quality education and learning content as well as quick response admin support) that we have decided to continue with my online schooling for the remainder of my son’s secondary schooling career. We appreciate being able to choose his subjects based on his interests. We have seen a big change in our son. He became more independent, self motivated and organized while studying with my online schooling.
Best decision we could have made for our family.

The school has really helped my daughter deal with the anxiety of being at mainstream school and you can choose as few or as many subjects as you wish. Unfortunately there have been a few, repeated changes of teachers mid year, which has affected the continuity of teaching. They have also made changes to subject selection mid way through the GCSEs course. Changes to payment systems are inconvenient and had we not been half way through the GCSE course, we may have considered alternative provision.

Our 12 year old daughter joined in April 2021 part way through first year in a Scottish state secondary school. Not only was poor behaviour of other kids an issue but her age group seemed to be neglected more than others during COVID and her education was suffering.
A breath of fresh air with MOS. She feels the teachers are more approachable and supportive during and outside of lessons, and she’s even been able to contact a few children outside of lessons (facilitated by MOS and with parental permission). Maths is not her strong subject but she’s doing much better with MOS and at last we have some confidence that she’ll be fine - it’s now as enjoyable as it ever could be for her, and she’s motivated to get on the lesson and also to do her assignments (homework) on time. Art is her favourite and she really likes her teacher. I wondered how art lessons would fair online but with the right materials the teacher uses two cameras and steps the students through the activity, and they do it together. She loves it.
Overall, it’s been great so far. Our daughter has a good routine - still has to get for early classes, and time in between to do assignments, and my wife organises time for outdoor activities (horse riding, swimming, meeting other kids, etc) during daytime when she has no classes. She has more assignment work with MOS but that’s not a concern; we see that as a positive since she hardly got any in stage school which was a concern.
The offline support is good to with an assigned success coordinator who is contactable by email ‘ phone and usually a quick response.
Very good email communication from MOS for joining, and then for assignment submissions, marking, other events going on, and for subject selection etc. for the next term.
We’re looking forward to the next year.
Update: not normally interested in reading other reviews and was invited by email to leave one by MOS, but feel compelled to speak up on MOS’ behalf. I’m in no way affiliated with MOS - just a parent that has a child enrolled and happy for that to continue. I’m all for respecting others’ views but some reviews contain are downright misleading. My daughter has a personal choice whether to have her camera on or off for any lesson and is regularly invited to participate verbally in all her classes. And in fact I often hear her laughing and enjoying conversation with the teacher. And there are weekly assemblies where MOS put in significant effort to reach out to the students and encourage them. On top of that they have other provisions to encourage mental and emotional, wellbeing. Just wanted to add this so people get a truer insight.

This is the first online school my children have attended. When I compare it with other online schools that my friends are in I believe that My Online Schooling is a clear leader. They have professional teachers who are also loving and caring bringing out the best in our children.

The quality of the course material is also high allowing for children to develop a "thinking out of the box" attitude. Despite the entire school being mainly on computer the kids tend to forget that they're not in a traditional school due to the environment that they create.

Parents don't have to be fully hands on like other online schools. The teachers know how to keep the children engaged and give them a positive learning attitude.

In summary, they're perfect! I really love the school.

For the price not bad but recent primary school changes meant parents have no flexibility on what subjects to choose from.

They are brilliant

The teachers are very understanding and are easy to contact if help is needed with things like homework. They're very helpful with topics like mental health and provide resources very often. Very happy mum.

It was great experience my son enjoyed year 5 the most , teachers are incredibly understanding and cooperative and we will continue next year with my both kids. Getting access to the lessons records is a great option for if we miss one or more lessons ,they need in my opinion more language choices like deutsch and provide textbooks to help in studying.
