If I could leave a no star review, I would!! My dad purchased a recliner from the store on July 15, 2026 and was told it would be delivered today August 4. He even received a text/email confirmation about delivery. He called today to find out a time and they told him that chair is no longer available. So they had him purchase a chair for $1400 that was never gonna be delivered. You would think out of common courtesy they would’ve caught that mistake and notified him of this but no. So my suggestion for those who are wanting to go to Bob’s furniture, make sure that the piece of furniture you are wanting to purchase is even in stock and available before spending the money.

Julian was very patient and helpful as we shopped for a sofa and dining table set. Great experience overall!

We drove 1 hour from home to look at a model that the website said was in stock at the Portage Mi location. We got there and the greeter met us with a good disposition but informed us they did not have the models in that store and wanted to show us something else. We came prepared to purchase $4000 worth of furniture but wanted to sit in it first. They have lost a customer. My advice to you is call first and verify they have what you want to look at before wasting your time going to the store.

I am disgusted with Bob’s Furniture. I bought a bedroom set and I was never told that bed slats did not come with my bed frame. I had 4 slats for a queen size bed so my new mattress was falling through the gaping holes between the slats. I reached out to Bob’s and they sent out a “furniture tech”. He said I will order you 3 more slats and when they come in I will install them. 8 days later and crickets. I go to the Bob’s store and I’m told I need a $300 foundation to put under my mattress. Because spending $1300 plus on a bedroom set wasn’t enough. They can give me free shipping tho for something I can fit in the back of my truck. Nothing else would be done. So from now on my furniture will be bought elsewhere and I will tell everyone I know to buy elsewhere!!! I would give negative stars if I could. Their customer service is beyond disgusting!!!!

I am writing this to warn other consumers about Bob's Discount Furniture. Our Athens Sofa has defective power buttons and is under a 1-year warranty. On July 23rd, Tiesheedah Phillips from Premier Support explicitly promised us a full sofa replacement from their mid-August inventory. We accepted immediately, but Bob's Support has since gone completely silent. They have failed to provide a new order confirmation number and are completely ghosting our follow-up emails. A formal complaint has been filed with the BBB. Avoid this company if you expect them to honor their warranties.

First time At Bobs furniture and it was very nice and well layed out , Jerry was a great help to us finding what we needed and answering any questions we had, the only issue I have with them is the delivery aspect, they give you a day but don’t text you the time slot until the day before, this is difficult to manage when working full time and weekends

They said it would take 1.5 months to deliver a couch, what kind of service is this? They advertise 3-7 days on their website. It's completely misleading. I would never order from here again. 100% terrible service.

We went to the store to follow up on furniture that had broken. I ended up buying a new sectional from Austin. The service was great and I can’t wait to get my new furniture!

We had a great experience working with Cristian at Bob's. We purchased a sofa on a Thursday, and it was delivered on the following Tuesday.
George's Delivery Service did a wonderful job for us. We were kept informed of the arrival time frequently. Starting in the morning, George sent us updates through text. When they were almost to our home, he called and let us know how far off they were.
Both George and JT were very friendly and efficient. They were accommodating and wore shoe covers or removed their shoes because we had just gotten new carpeting.

Fair warning to anyone considering purchasing a protection plan from Bob's Discount Furniture: in my experience, the plan does not provide the coverage promised. Claims for covered furniture are delayed, denied, or handled with a runaround, especially when the issue may require replacing the item.

Do not rely solely on what the sales staff tells you. They may say, “Don’t worry, it’s covered,” or “You’ll never have to worry about anything,” but that has not been my experience.

Please consider this a warning before purchasing the protection plan.

When the initial order arrived and the guys were attempting to put the bed together, they had no idea what they were doing plus there were pieces that did not line up correctly on both my bed and the guest trundle beds. I had to basically redo a bunch of it myself. Days later the bottom fell out of the dresser and I had to fix it myself. The guest room trundle bed does not roll correctly and is a menace when trying to take it out. Fast forward slightly more than 1 year and the lights on the bed completely went out, the whole system fried out, and we rarely even used it. Called to discuss it and was told I could order a new set up for a ridiculous amount of money. Not much option, so the new set up was ordered. 12 weeks later they are still "in production". Whatever you do.....DO NOT BUY FROM THE JUNK DEALER KNOWN AS BOB'S DISCOUNT FURNITURE!

Sales peers on Julie was very professional. I was very happy with my experience.

My experience was great because the salesperson was able to answer all of my questions, I did not feel rushed or pressed.

Goof Proof insurance was a rip off. The claim I submitted was denied within 2 hours. I was hesitant to purchase the additional warranty but unfortunately I allowed the sales person to talk me into it. DO NOT TAKE the Goof Proof Insurance. It is a fraud.

We absolutely love it. It's in awesome shape. Anyone that has seen it loves it.

We purchased a couch from Bob’s Furniture less than two years ago and paid extra for the 5-year Goof Proof protection plan. When the center back cushion cover ripped, we reached out immediately and were told a replacement cover would be sent.After nearly a year of calling for updates and being repeatedly given new delivery dates that never happened, we were finally told the cover was no longer available and were only given a refund. While we appreciate the refund, it does not solve the issue that we are left with a couch less than two years old with a missing cushion.We purchased Goof Proof expecting support when we needed it, but unfortunately the process was frustrating and did not provide a real resolution. Just a warning to others considering paying extra for this protection plan. Honestly don't think I will buy furniture from here again.

I was there picking out a dresser for clothes but it was a damaged item from the outlet in the back of the store it was bad service then they had somebody give us instructions to go out the back and they well ring us out our furniture

The sales associate’Erin’ was awesome. They were patient as we shopped and made our choices. I appreciate the customer service. This is the second time we have purchased from Bob’s. We have made Bob’s our go to place for furniture.
