I opened an account - several weeks later they have not actually created my account
I opened an account. The person who did it screwed up and claimed some paperwork had accidentally been shredded. I went back. Signed papers again. They needed to created the deposit check again (fortunately so far that hasn't cleared my other bank twice). So now it is a week later. I tried to create an online account and it says my account doesn't exist. Seriously?
They are convenient, close and totally incompetent. If they can't even open my account, have $5K of mine... I sure don't want them as my credit union. I will be asking them for my money back. i guess I don't have an account for them to close.
DO NOT USE in Jackson MS at the medical campus branch unless you have no other choice. Will be talking to them to find out what stupidity is going on now. Good thing I don't need to write a check against that account. I can not believe how someone is so incompetent that they can't even open a checking and savings account.
EDIT - Now they claim the problems are from the credit union being bought, computer problems (that doesn't explain shredding papers I filled out and if they knew they were having issues then maybe proactively try to keep on top of things?) and I only had problems because of when I opened my account. So maybe they shouldn't have had anyone open any accounts during the time period of working out the kinks in the merger? Sigh. All of this speaks to a failure to plan and anticipate issues along with proactively keeping an eye open for problems.

I am a member of the credit union...about 15 years...before MUTUAL...toke it over...since the new system and the new staff...NO ANSWER PHONES...NO CALL BACKS....#130 IN THE CALLING QUE...THEY PROMISE SOMEBODY WOULD GET ME ANSWERS...NOBODY NEVER DID...I DRIVE TO THE OFFICE...THEY JUST SAY THE SYSTEM...IS DOWN...I have been with the prior credit union...for a very very very long time...and want to continue to stay because the cashier clerk...KRISTI...is good with my account...as for the rest...NOOOO HELP AT ALLL)....

The rating is for the new app. If I can give no star I will. For me upgrade is better and more devices are compatible, but not the new app, my phone is not compatible with the new app, the old one was better, supported my device.
