Sent me a damaged print. The packaging was insane for the way they tape everything together which causes the damage when sent through the mail. Solution was to have me send it back to them for them to do anything which is a total waste of my time. Never order from them.
I ordered flexible magnets printed with my artwork. The colors were spot on and the image quality was incredible. The margins were perfect. I was very impressed with the speed of the delivery and the ease and accuracy of the order.
very disappointed in my experience with Mpix. No quality control was shipped a grad lawn sign with my daughter's name printed twice in 2 different fonts and colors. They would not accept any responsibility for this and lacked customer service skills. Will never order from them again!
Like many other customers I'm reading about, the quality control is lacking. And the customer service to make the customer want to return and the product situation better is just not there nor their priority. When viewing my final photo on actual print it did not depict correct edging of card due to incorrect crop of picture. Customer service would not correct nor take ownership of bad final photo on how it was sent. Will not order again, due to not having any willingness to discount or fix problem. Very disappointing customer service. Good products cannot last with bad customer service, and for that I will find one of the many other good photo printers for next time.
Our Preschool has ordered photos from MPix for years. Their website has changed since we had last ordered and the center all auto feature did not auto-center our 8×10 photos. Children's heads were cut off in the photos and MPix is not making it right by sending us corrected/centered photos. I have gotten the runaround and was told it's my fault and we would need to re-purchase those photos. They have lost our school's business.
I paid extra to have a white border added on my photos, i read the fine print and was under the assumption that it kept the image size the same and just made the paper larger. No where did it say my images would be shrunken from 8x10 to 7x9, i am just an everyday person and not a photographer that would just know this information. upon receiving my pictures all my images were smaller and unusable, all are to small for my frames. customer service was quick to say it was my fault and they would only offer me 50% off a new order. 100% happiness guarantee is a crock, and apparently it only applies where they see fit. Customer service argues with you and berates you, horrible experience. I will never give this company another cent, ill make sure to spread the word how great my experience was with them though.
I worked very hard to create an album for my mother to celebrate her 100th Birthday Celebration. Part of the project included making sure the photos were not awkwardly cropped. I reviewed and adjusted many times to get the album right. Imagine my horror when my mother received an album with heads cropped out of photos. Customer Service attempted to argue that the mistakes were mine. However, I have proof that the mistakes were theirs. And they don't check for cropping. Trying to blame their "ordering software" is not a solution. The best Customer Service will offer is a corrected reprint (to fix THEIR mistakes) at a 60% discount. DO NOT USE MPIX! They do not stand by their work.
Easy to use platform. Fast delivery and great packaging!
We’re trying to design an order a photo collage wall and MPix’s website is extremely clunky and frustrating. It is slow and doesn’t save the last project version.
We started the project on my iPad, and thought maybe switching to a pc would be better, but it wasn’t.
We’re taking our business elsewhere.
I designed and ordered 3 copies of my wedding album with Mpix (~$500 merchandise), but someone in my neighborhood stole them (a prank? Still don't know what happened.) I emailed Mpix, begging for a replacement even though it wasn't their fault. Honestly, it was a Hail Mary; I thought maybe they'd give me a discount on the replacement or something. Instead, to my great surprise, they replaced the entire order for free--they didn't even ask me to cover the shipping. The books themselves are beautiful, too--the linen-bound cover is a gorgeous red and the cardstock is so thick and lovely. Still can't believe their heroic act of customer service! They truly went above and beyond.
Read reviews but maybe not Trustpilot. Ordered a “cutout statuette” as a gift. Paid $20 for expedited shipping. Product arrived but looks cheap & not the 3D appearance expected. Also there was an option during the order process to include a message on the back. My message was not done & I had to quickly find an engraver to create the message. Customer Service responded that messages aren’t available for statuettes. Then why include that in the order form? Don’t recommend Mpix. Horrible. 2 stars for the fast shipping.
My first order was very good. The second order has still not been delivered. They sent an e-mail saying that it shipped along with a tracking link. The link has not changed, it always says that it is "on the way" along with an estimated date of delivery. That date was 8 days ago. I contacted customer service and they said it could take up to three weeks. Since my original experience was much quicker, I assumed this would be good, too. As a final note - Mpix shouldn't send a separate email showing it shipped with a tracking number - their e-mail back to me stated "The packages are often not scanned into their system until they are delivered." They why send a tracking number?
Wouldn't let me buy a photo book cover only to add to a book I already purchased.
I placed a large order for many different size photos of our annual family photos and individual photos of our kids. I was pleasantly surprised that they arrived earlier than expected. Upon reviewing my order, I realized I had made too many adaptations to my order and removed some much needed wallets. I reached out to the Customer Care team on a Sunday and they responded quickly with a solution for me to process the secondary order. I very much appreciate the service and the gesture of gratitude. I will return because of this small gesture as it means a lot.
No phone support offered by this company. Wha?!
Print quality was fantastic! I ordered invitations. Then prints. Then a photo book. However their website states they have a 100% customer service guarantee which is NOT true. When I ordered the photo book and I was not happy with the cover. I do not think the description on their order page was detailed enough. Which I have found to be lacking in other areas as in paper for invites. Why not have pictures showing examples of products??? They offered me to repurchase the entire book again for 50% off. That was their attempt at solving the issue. They will not personally speak to their customers which is part of the issue. The CS Rep wouldn’t address certain questions I had. I will use other services in the future
I've put in 4 orders with MPix in the past month or so, with the most recent one arriving today, and I was so pleasantly surprised - even above my already high expectations - that I went out of my way to find somewhere to leave a review. I've been SO consistently impressed with the quality of their prints - particularly the metallic photo prints and fine art giclee prints are just immediately in a class above your average photo print. The value for an additional $2 or $3 is insane, plus they consistently run 20-40% promos with free shipping. Ridiculous. My most recent order shipped the day it was placed, the prints look incredible, and then they go and throw in some surprise envelopes I was not expecting. Like, not an Amazon-style wad of qualifies-as-functional envelopes, but a meticulously packed set of 52 linen-feeling, spray-with-perfume, letter-to-your-sweetheart envelopes. The prints are individually secured to their own cardboard and then slipped into their own safe little plastic bags...it's too much. I just want to drive down to Missouri and say thanks guys and gals, you're a little slice of what's right about America, keep it up.
I love Mpix's prints and was excited to order an ornament to commemorate my husband's and my first Christmas married. Unfortunately, the process—and result—were so disappointing and frustrating, and only got worse the more I interacted with customer service.
First, the designer was suggesting a missing design element compared to their product photo. I reached out to support for clarity, but miscommunication led me to believe the product photos were wrong, when in fact, the designer was broken. So I placed my faulty order without understanding that I could wait for the functionality to be restored.
Even worse: I was not happy at all with the quality. The site said that if any heads in the photo ended up being 1/4" or smaller on the final product, then the photo may look soft/blurry. However, the design process didn't help indicate problems—there was no screen ruler, no flagging/warning about my design. I'm not sure how I was supposed to know what size the heads in my photo would be in the end?
When I brought these issues up with the same rep, she suggested sending the ornament back for a refund—a strange and inconvenient arrangement, especially for a custom product. I asked for the ornament to be remade instead, as I badly wanted this memento, but I made it clear that I wanted to know why this happened and how to prevent it. I said, "Provided a better final result is possible, could Mpix remake the ornament for me?" While the rep didn't engage with my concern about the do-over, she did proceed to offer me a new ornament, and honored my request for the correct design this time. I also gave color feedback that I was told would be taken into account. But when the new ornament arrived, it looked identical to the first in terms of quality. I now had TWO ornaments I disliked, after lots of frustrating communication.
I STILL didn't know why the printing came out so poor, but at that point, I wanted a refund. I expressed my confusion over how this happened and how frustrated I was. None of that was engaged with. Nothing was said to restore my confidence in Mpix's processes or customer service.
I gave Mpix one more chance to turn my experience around: I left a review on their site when prompted. Mpix responded claiming someone would be in touch “ASAP.” After 10 days, nothing had happened. I sent a fresh email to customer service summarizing my issues, including their neglect of my review, and how my experience left me feeling, including my serious reservations about using Mpix for my wedding prints and book. I asked if they had intended to offer a different resolution than making my not even $30 refund contingent on packing up and getting out a package to them.
I got a response, which asked me if I’d received the return shipping label sent to me. What I was saying was COMPLETELY ignored. I replied, “Yes, I got the label. I explained in my message how I wasn't pleased with your all's resolution to the repeated quality issue I was facing, but that is falling on deaf ears. This gets more frustrating with each new interaction. I'll go through the inconvenience of returning the ornaments.” A new rep replied with, “Thanks for your understanding.” Unbelievable.
I am so sad to not have a beautiful ornament to mark a special occasion. I'm even more sad, though, to have lost all faith in Mpix and feel the need to find a different photo lab.
I will say the quality of the prints I received were beautiful and high quality, matte finish look, thick paper compared to Walgreens, clear images except out of 92 prints 4 came out cropped out the faces and I chatted with online customer service, the girl was not very nice in my opinion, she proceeded to help me by charging me the photos again but would cover shipping, mind you it wasn’t a very expensive replacement, it was about $3. Your telling me, as a company and me as a first time customer (they knew) they can’t cover the cost of $3 especially when their prices are already on the high end compared to other companies. Please, I fought for that and told her I would rather just get a refund for the bad photos. She let me do it “this time”. I wasn’t a fan of how she just assumed to charge me for the photos again. No Thankyou. I don’t understand because I’ve read so many good customer reviews of this company, I’m wondering if I just got connected with someone not very helpful or nice. I will give them another try, I know with Shutterfly and Walgreens, they would always offer refund or replacements no questions asked ever! This place might be stingy. Who knows. I will give them another try and hope they do not cause problems.
I never received the photos I ordered and paid for. Customer service was evasive and never helpful and made no attempt to address my problem. I finally had to go through my credit card company to get back my money back. I would strongly suggest never wasting your time and money by using mpix.
