My dad ordered an engine from this company and was told it would take 7-10 working days. After 20 working days the engine has not arrived despite paying £1800. We have been fobbed off constantly even after explaining this is having an affect on my job within the NHS as I’m having to car share with my dad. Customer service is absolutely terrible. I have asked to speak to a manager twice but have not been put through to one. I was even called by the name of Mr Robertson who has also left a review after clearly having issues.

I had a terrible experience with Motors in Motion. I ordered a front alloy crash bar for my Audi on a Saturday and paid £20 for delivery, but it didn't arrive until Wednesday. When my mechanic received the part, he discovered it was rusty and, to make matters worse, it was the wrong part - a rear crash bar instead of the front.

I called Motors in Motion, and after investigating, they admitted to the mistake and agreed to collect the incorrect part and issue a refund. Two weeks later, I found out from my mechanic that they still hadn’t picked it up. Frustrated, I had to drive an hour back and forth to return the rusty part myself.

When I arrived and asked why they hadn’t collected it, a short-statured employee dismissively told me they never agreed to do so and that there was no 'note on their computer for collection'. He then turned his attention to another customer call, leaving me standing there for another 10 minutes.

The customer service was absolutely horrendous. Save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere.

I paid this company £1554.00 for a gearbox that never arrived !!! 3 weeks later they say that they cant find it !!!
They will not refund me !!! I have to take legal action now and will not let this go..
I have been scammed......
I should have checked the reviews before I parted with my money.

I pay for a gear box from this company Bvvv ear box to me this was October this time last year and they still haven’t given me my money back for the gear box , it cost me €4100 and they never sent to Gear Box and never refunded the money to me , this company, is not very good when they can steel money like this from there customers

Found a door for a m4, they were able to take some photos and advise on condition before I went to collect. It was a 7 hour round trip for me to go to them so was a little apprehensive based upon other reviews. But people always jump to complain, and don’t bother writing when things went well, so I think it’s only fair.
Guy gave some advice too which proved useful when refitting the door to my car.
Would use again for sure.

Absolute shysters, they promise you the world for a a price, then they don't deliver either the part or service. Lured like siren into their web of deceit. These con men could not lie straight in bed. If they get a whiff of a credit/debit card, expect to get bent over and treat like a slot machine.

A rare thing - Thorough, comprehensive car repair and super service. Really happy with these guys!

Very bad company in my opinion and most others that read reviews looking at google. None existant customer service and a don’t care attitude. Stay well away. You have been warned !

Nightmare from start to finish. Tell you what you want to hear, but actually hopeless when it comes to customer service. Literally some of the worst customer service ever experienced. Made an official complaint, no response. Didn't like the idea of paying credit card fees so got me to pay by another method..which company does this!? Avoid and take your business elsewhere.

Bought an engine for an Audi A6 for over £8000.00 with apparently 2 week delivery. No engine after 2 months of stalling tactics and had to employ a solicitor to get my money back. Very stressful experience. Dick Turpin would be proud of these guys. Utter disgrace.

Experts in engine codes, sold me a Nissan engine outwith Ebay to save me money they said. Engine not compatible and returned, CHARGED £750 re-stock fee and had to call them every day for 3weeks to get my refund. Very unhelpful, be very carefull and make them confirm its exactly what you need.

I made a parts request on different platform and I received quote from them…after I ask for photos and they told me don’t have this parts …👎👎👎👎

Was told they have a low mileage engine over the phone,iwent to see the engine before buying it and was told that i need to pay for the engine first then i can see it. Advertising a very low mileage engine but probably was a high mileage.
Avoid theae crooks!
They will talk sweet ober the phone but in reality you will not get what promised.
Now they reply that six people demanded to see it.i never demanded but asked to see the engine, as the day before i was told over the phone that it will be ok . They cant tell the difference between 2 and 6 people Standing at their dirty reception.

I wish I've read the reviews before I've ordered a part for my car..
They've never sent the part and it took me more than 3 weeks to get my money back, I'm still fuming while typing ..This place needs to be shut down, get fined and prison sentences..So so bad!!

Worse company you will ever deal with everyday there’s a new story from them. Paid 2000 for a gearbox from desperation as I had no other alternative. They take your money straight away giving a time frame of 7/10 days. Called on 10th day they said 10 working days. Called after 10 working days and they’ve now had me waiting over a month threatening if I write a review online it would be worse for me. Only to laugh at me stating who even read reviews online.

To anyone looking to buy from this company , make sure you don’t pay for anything till you know it’s the correct part ,once they have your money ,there not in no rush to rectify their error of supplying the wrong part .just keep fobbing you of with we will ring when sorted .

Avoid at all costs. Shocking company to deal with. Promised to buy my car (in writing) messed me about for a month and then told me they didn't want it anymore. Total time wasters, especially Adam who repeatedly made promises he failed to keep. Sold my car within 1 day to RemoveMyCar and for more money than MotorsInMotion offered. Seriously avoid this company total cowboys.

The reply given by MotorsInMotion is an absolute complete lie in every single respect. I did not cancel the order and I did not give incorrect mileage. This company ought to be struck off firstly for the complete lack of service and then secondly for an entirely fictitious review. Do not trust they are liars.
