Motorpoint - Newport Omdömen 

bought a car that was supposed to have been thoroughly checked , trusted Motorpoint to do this properly but should have checked their checking. 9 months later with no motoring issues took the car for an MOT, turns out that the locking wheel nut which was in a bag in the glove box turns out to be an 17mm socket head. Had to pay to have the locking wheel nuts removed by the local tyre shop. Luckily i never ended up at the roadside needing to change out a tyre. Whether this was done by mistake / on purpose or was just never actually checked by Motorpoint will never be proved. my suspicion is for the latter. Do Motorpoint actually check their vehicles or just take them from an auction and whack them out to punters unchecked? Don't believe them check for yourself , not as good as they used to be? I won't bother to go into the saga of the fitting of the dashcams but it was very prolonged and an awful customer experience. Doubt i will use Motorpoint again.

Ordered a car from Manchester to be delivered for collection in Newport. Spoke to an agent and all seemed fine. Went to collect today. Car one years old but obviously had a hard life, cigarette burns on interior roof and smelt of fag smoke. They offered to put an air cleaner in that would take 6 hours! Refused and insisted they gave my delivery charge back as I would never have bought car if issues were disclosed. Knock them out quick attitude with no customer care or for products they are selling- really is like a supermarket but a Lidl not a Waitrose!
Will never use again.

Motorpoint Newport, south wales were fantastic. Bought a car off them 18 months ago and decided I was going to start browsing at electric.
They found me an Audi Q4 E tron across the other side of the country. Offered me a test drive of a different colour one they had in stock which I declined as the wife has had a couple of electric cars before so just sat in it to make sure it was suitable.
Finance sorted in 5 mins flat and car delivered to Newport in around 5 days including the weekend.
Big thanks to Owain Caple-Davies and Michael Gittins in the branch for all there help. Will drop some beers in for you soon

Bought Ford Eco Sport car this month. Told it had been MOTd & Serviced in March. Took it back to Motorpoint Newport this week, due to the handbrake being faulty. Not even holding on flat road and definately not on hill near my house. DVLA would not be happy with this review. Please Motorpoint, check your vehicles more closely to avoid possible accidents. I will be collecting my car next Tuesday, after the braking system is more fully checked. The lady assisting me has been very helpful.

so many cars to choose from, paid a deposit, arranged to collect, everything went smoothly. all staff were very friendly and professional. every car in the car park were sparkling clean.

This was our first experience of Motorpoint and it was great. From help finding the right car, arranging finance, and the final handover the whole experience was seamless.
It was also a pleasure dealing with Lauren who for a young lady was very knowledgeable, and made us feel at ease.
