Left multiple messages and emails phone no one responded what so ever disgraceful customer service. Don’t use.

Fair valuation and a very helpful and friendly guy came over and all went smoothly.

Provided a reasonable offer, and were in contact at various stages to ensure a smooth hand over of the vehicle. The valuation was met on the day of inspection. Dean was very friendly and efficient, arrived at the time he said he would which fitted around my work schedule. He sorted out all relevant paperwork and payment efficiently, very nice lad and good at his job! Lucy and Dave were also involved during the process on the other end of the phone and were also very helpful.

1-Star Review – Very Disappointing Experience
I contacted MotorbikeTrader to sell my 2‑year‑old motorbike, in excellent condition with under 1,300 miles and full authorised‑dealer service history. After sharing all the details, we agreed on a price that was about 6.25% higher than their initial online offer due to the bike’s condition and the accessories included. We also agreed on a collection date.
Unfortunately, on the day of collection nobody showed up and I received no communication at all. I had to call them myself to find out what was happening. We rescheduled for the following week.
When the dealer finally arrived, the experience went downhill quickly. He checked the bike cold, then claimed the bike had no oil because the sight glass looked empty while the bike was on its side stand. Once the bike was held upright and the motor was warm, the oil level was perfectly between min and max, clean and exactly as expected. He also claimed there was an oil leak from the head, which was simply not true — the bike had been serviced 50 miles earlier, and what he pointed at was normal seep, not a leak.
Despite correcting these points, he called his headquarters and came back with a new offer reduced by 17%, then “improved” to a 12% reduction. They refused to revise their assessment even though it was clearly based on incorrect assumptions.
In the end, they left without completing the sale. Honestly, I’m glad they did — I found another dealer who offered me more than MotorbikeTrader’s original price.
From my experience, it feels like they have internal targets and will try anything to reduce the agreed price at the last minute. The whole process was frustrating and unprofessional.
I cannot recommend them based on this experience.

A bunch of charlatans! They quoted me a valuation of £6390 for my Ducati which seemed reasonable although I expected to be knocked back a bit . So I went ahead and booked a collection.
Their agent turned up a 8.00am and was a nice enough guy. He went over the bike and the service records very thoroughly and said he would have to knock £300 off because I didn't have a receipt for the cam belt change (it was done at the correct time/mileage). Fair enough but he then offered me £4,900! Motorbike Trader had given him a value £5200.
If they had quoted me that in the emails they sent me I would never have considered dealing with them. I reckon they only quoted me £6390 figure to draw me in, wasting both my time and their driver's.

Mixed experience

Sold bike to them, the process was absolute great when they picked up the bike and made the payment to me/finance - this was all pretty smooth.

Post that, it turns out they did not update the tax, therefore I got a letter from DVLA and a fine. In fairness to them, they did offer to pay and sort it. The real issue is, I have called 3 times, telling them about this - they said leave it with them and they would sort. When I got the fine, called again & they said that the V5C was invalid, which was interesting, as I owned it from new.

They will sort this, but the real issue is, that it took 18 days between calls & me chasing to find out that there was this issue.

Additionally, they did not request a settlement from my fianance company, which is standard.

Overall, mixed experience, people were nice on the phone, was quick to get bike and pay met, but left me some admin mess.

I would sell to them again, but I would be more hands on and not trust a larger company to sort things - maybe somewhat niave from myside.

Communication and customer service from Matt was absolutely brilliant. Could not have hoped for more. Will definitely use again in the future!

Lawrence advised his arrival time and on arrival he was very professional and engaging. The price originally quoted changed slightly but not significantly so all in all, very happy with not only the price but how easy the transaction was. I paid a little extra for immediate transfer of funds and within 5 minutes the money was in my account before the bike was taken. I would happily recommend this company should you want to sell your motorcycle.

Spent ages sending photos and giving info they offerd me £6410 then rang me back an hour later saying they thought it was a better model even though I give my full reg they come back with £5900 think this is a tactic to get people to accept a lower price last minute feel like the was trying to con me

Booked a collection for my Honda CB1000R and even took a full day off work to be available — clearly a complete waste of time.
I was told the driver would arrive between 08:00 and 16:00 and call ahead. Instead, I received absolutely no communication whatsoever. After chasing it myself at 15:30, I was simply told the driver wouldn’t be coming. No explanation, no apology, no basic courtesy.
This level of incompetence and disregard for a customer’s time is unacceptable. Taking a day off work for nothing due to your failure to communicate is beyond frustrating.
I will not be using this company again and would strongly advise others to avoid if you value your time

Received quote online, had a chat with Sam, concerning the condition etc and procedure, booked a day for collection, on the day of collection Nick informed me of his arrival, very efficient handover, he checked the bike was how I described it was, confirmed to his office all ok, I paid for immediate payment and deal done 👍✅✅✅.
