Lost my deposit
I am writing this review as a customer that had a near miss. I accept I have lost my deposit, despite being informed by amir they would be returning it!
The deposit was for a 69 plate transit with 109000 miles. I was told the van would be serviced but the wet belt would not be done. After going away I found out that the wet belt should be changed at 100000 miles as recommended by ford due to many engine failures. So I called them to cancel the purchase as the van would not be fit for purpose. I would be worried about the belt wrecking the engine. They did offer to do the belt for three hundred pound. This is a big job and if the belt has started to break down the engine could need more attention. An independent transit centre quoted me £800-£1500 depending on the amount of rubber debris in the engine. The reason I didn’t go ahead is if someone tells you they will return your deposit.you supply your bank details as requested, then you get a phone call from someone else denying this was ever said all though the email was sent two days ago.
I’m not saying this is a good or bad company. Just my experience!

Absolutely appalling experience with Motor2Go.
I part-exchanged my van with Motor2Go on 24th November 2023, and the issues I’ve faced since have been nothing short of disgraceful. Despite agreeing to settle the finance on the vehicle, they didn’t pay it off until March 2024—FOUR MONTHS after taking the van. During that time, I was still left paying the finance myself.
To make matters worse, the van accrued several ULEZ fines in December 2023 while it was no longer in my possession. Motor2Go claimed the fines were incurred because the van was being taken to and from repair centres, yet they failed to take responsibility for these penalties. Despite being reassured that the fines were dealt with, I was later pursued by bailiffs and ultimately had to pay £1,065 out of my own pocket to resolve the matter.
It’s shocking that Motor2Go sold the van on to another customer before even obtaining the V5 logbook from me, which they couldn’t receive because they hadn’t settled the finance. How they managed to sell the vehicle without the proper ownership documents is beyond comprehension.
Promises were also made to my business partner that invoices for repairs and additional costs (totaling over £1,000) would be reimbursed, yet these were never paid, leaving us significantly out of pocket. We also have evidence from mechanics that the van was not roadworthy at the time of sale.
This entire ordeal has caused significant financial and emotional stress, and I am now forced to tally up the full extent of my losses due to Motor2Go’s negligence and lack of professionalism.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Thieves and scam artists, avoid at all costs
One star but only because zero wasn’t an option.
These are criminals and nothing more. Currently going through complaints procedure to get my money back, a complaints procedure that they outlined and told me I had to to adhere to in order to get to a resolution and get my money back if complaint couldn’t be resolved and they don’t even stick to the complaints procedure that they themselves have created. They are doing everything possible to get out of refunding my purchase after doing everything possible to get out of rectifying the problem with the van and honouring the deal that was made. The person who claimed to be manager is like a scared little boy when talking on the phone about it and runs to others for advice on what he is allowed to say, another manager there is a cardboard gangster wannabe trying to intimidate and threaten while boasting he needs to free up the phone to make more money from ripping people off. Avoid this “company” at all costs. Fortunately for me I used my credit card to pay for the balance so these crooks will be forced by them to honour my refund and I can finally be shot of this horrendous experience and never have to deal with these scam artists again.
In reply to the reply, I tried to contact and sort this out for 6 months to which I was threatened with physical violence and accused of trying to get more money from them. I had proof of faults and proof of conversation had and deal made and was lied to and threatened to get out of paying for work needed on the death trap I was sold. It cost me thousands to get the van road worthy which is what they told me I was getting in the first place. These people are con artists skirting and breaking laws to rip people off without a care for the safety of customers or general public

Very disappointed feel lied to
After travelling 2 hours to pick up my new van It has an engine light on even after calling 3 hours prior to confirm all okay: then had the van delivered it was delivered to the middle of the road where it broke down because it had no fuel. Delivered with 5 faults. Service overdue by 96 days, no Adblue, no fuel, rear tail light out, key battery need changing. And the radio does not work. After having to drive to petrol station to get fuel I was left with a van with more issues after being told it had undergone a 10 minuet test drive and had full MOT and service. Very disappointed. I have had to pay for delivery of the vehicle, a new radio and more with no compensation. I had high hopes for this company after meeting them but have since had no help and no compensation.

Disaster
Disaster! They made promises, and they failed. I had to chase them all day. They didn't pick up my car on time but messaged me saying, "Your car is now in good hands at the garage. We will contact you later with further updates". The car was in front of my house. They came 1,5 hr later and didn't return the vehicle on time. The live chat service was excellent, but the lady who finally contacted me (after two chats with live chat) kept calling me "my lovely" and was not helpful. I am very disappointed. I rate them with 0 stars.

Grovelling apology
After what has been a long drawn out saga with motor2go, i received an email from Mr Abraham Al-Amood and i will give him some credit here, to go from threatening and insulting me,to a grovelling humble apology must have taken some writing and for that he deserves a little bit of respect, it still doesn't correct the issue of the initial deception which has led to my being out of pocket purely because of their actions and it's been made abundantly clear there's not a snowballs chance in hell of me seeing a penny of it,but i won't be giving up on it, after all as i was informed by Abraham they are a multi million pound company and don't need my money the flip side of that is I'm not a multi millionaire, i work 2 job's, 7 days a week to get by and for me like the many every single pound is precious.

Excellent and terrible in equal parts…
It’s so disappointing that an otherwise decent bunch of people seem to be let down by terrible communications and admin.
9 weeks ago I ordered an ex-RAC VW transporter at a really competitive price. In the 9 weeks following the order, I have actually had the van for only a few days, and with issues at that. I have lost so much time and money driving and taking public transport back and forth to get the issues resolved, but still my van is not with me in working order. Every time I take it in, they seem to run the same diagnostics (for the problems I reported when I test drove the van 9 weeks ago) and come up with the same, or slightly different resolution to the problem, which requires me waiting even longer.
On the flip side though, the staff are really friendly, honest and genuinely seem to care. They have also been really thorough and changed parts that hadn’t failed because they were afraid they might fail. And when they really need to pull out the stops, they will. When I explained how I desperately needed a van for a specific journey, they had a courtesy van delivered to my door within 24 hours.
They know I need my van, fault free, by Tuesday at the absolute latest, to allow me 2 afternoons to make essential conversions so that I can take my family (including my disabled adult daughter) to Cornwall for a family holiday. If this happens, I will upgrade my rating to 3 stars but unfortunately the bad currently outweighs the good.
If Motor2Go sorts out their admin, record keeping and communications I would honestly recommend them. If you are in no hurry for a van I would say buy from them, but I couldn’t currently recommend them for someone needing a van in a hurry to run a business with.

Where do I start!! Bought a van and it had an MOT failure- they said they would rectify it I picked it up with the new MOT. My mechanic looked at it and absolutely none of the work was done. It needed brake discs as the mot said they were dangerous. They put on2 brake pads- after constant emailing and sending evidence they basically called me a liar. They sent me 2 FAKE Invoices which were apparently paid by cash!! REALLY- cash is not traceable- These rude horrible people are nothing but low life fraudulent nasty wannabe gangsters. KARMA!! GOT TO LOVE IT- THEY ARE NOT THAT CLEVER

Absolutely DISCUSTING buisness! I bought a van from them and have nothing but problems! First of all they sold me one with a dodgy turbo so had to go back to them after a month of messing about! They didn’t even give me another van to use so I was out of work for a month! The van after 3 months the van has gone into limp mode because of DPF problems so it clearly has more than the original 60k on the clock! They are now choosing to ignore me as the can is still under warranty! They are a bunch of scam artists selling dodgy vans to people. DO NOT buy a fan from these people! Disgrace of a buisness!

Last week my husband asked for the money back and we have heard absolutely nothing in return, he has called numerous times, and nothing. We will have to go to court to get our money back. I purchased a Van from them, and was given 6 months warranty, 4 months in to owning the van, and only 5000 miles, the cam belt snapped while I’m driving, not super worried as I was still within my warranty, knowing these things happen well, god should I have been, after waiting almost a week to get any sort of response from their “customer service team” they have come back to me with “the 6 months warranty was a gesture of good will” and that it doesn’t actually give me any cover!!!
Typical dodgy sales men trying to BS their way into a sale, now I’m left out of work for two weeks and a 6k bill, in which they are not willing to help or support financially in anyway, although they did off to give me a discount if I used their garage

The worst company I have dealt with . We purchased a van a year ago now and the van had manufacturer warranty . We asked for 6 month warranty when the van was purchased to give us extra cover . We have now been told that the warranty that was given was activated at the purchase of the van . Why would you run 2 warranties at the same time ?? . Now we have been told that we have no warranty . Ridiculous . Just a way of getting out of paying warranty . Untrustworthy. Poor customer service . Be very careful when you purchase a vehicle from those company .
