Best trading platform.

I contacted support through email and was connected to someone named Omar. He was INCREDIBLY helpful! Super patient and understanding. I'm not a very experienced trader, so there's a lot I'm still learning. I've asked for help in discord, reddit, tried searching for answers on the internet, nothing. Omar gave me the answers I was looking for. 100% would recommend Motivewave!

Motivewave is a great software with a lot of features.
There's a lot of tutorial videos on youtube to help with the learning curve and if they don't answer your questions, Brian is very helpful at the support department.

MotiveWave is a comprehensive product. With a great deal of trading tools. You can get lost sometimes if you are new to the product. Its nice to have a support staff that is willing and able to help you navigate your way around when you get stuck.

They did a really good job. I mean, they earned my business. I considered going with other options, but MotiveWave's team just didn't push me to go with other competitors (if you know what I mean). My opinion is their effort is just enough higher than the competition to make you appreciate their level of support for you to stick around. They strive to be better and that makes you better. Iron sharpens iron.

Amazing all-rounded platform. I have tried a few softwares in the past but this is by far the most reliable one I have used.

I have been working for more than 10 years and because of my obsession I have tried many platforms in forex and futures and I am strongly confident that there is no platform like this or even close to Motive Wave. How smart team is behind it 👍

I am giving MW 5 stars because they have always (as in the past 5 years) been there for me, (steady off the Port Bow....). The platform is amazing and without equal in my humble opinion. Always stable and always there, ready to crunch whatever task you ask of it. Also, the yearly updates and upgrades are always well worth the upgrade fees because there is always so much new and relevant content.

My only request would be to add live telephone support. In the unlikely event that you need help, that help is normally 24 hours away. In today's instant, microwave, AI, world in which we live, 24 hours can seem like an eternity.

I was introduced to MotiveWave by a YouTube mentor who is a veteran trader. Based on his recommendation, I decided to give it a try.

Top Strengths:
1. Great Orderflow Tools: The pro edition offers every possible feature, including customizable Volume Profiles and Footprints. This level of customization allows traders to tailor the tools to their specific strategies and preferences.
2. Responsive Support Team: The support team is very responsive and easy to deal with. They provide quick and helpful solutions, which is crucial for maintaining trading efficiency.
3. Summer Offer: The summer offer is a great bargain for the features included. It provides excellent value for money, especially for those looking to explore advanced trading tools without a hefty upfront investment.
4. Educational Resources: There are plenty of educational videos and documents available for anyone starting out with the tool. These resources are comprehensive and cater to traders of all skill levels, ensuring a smoother learning curve.

Areas for Improvement:
1. Performance Issues: I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because I have experienced instances where MotiveWave freezes when the volume imprint count is increased. This is particularly problematic when analyzing larger timeframes with every tick level. I found some workarounds with data setup criteria, but allocating more RAM did not help.
2. Volume-Related Studies: The performance on volume-related studies, such as loading volume imprints or AVWAPs, could be improved. It would be helpful to have a clear guide on optimal laptop specifications and data settings to avoid freezing "without compromising data analysis quality".
3. User Interface Enhancements: While the platform is powerful, there could be minor improvements to the user interface to make navigation and customization even more intuitive. Simplifying some of the more complex features could help new users get up to speed faster.

Overall, MotiveWave is a great product and I highly recommend it for Mac users and anyone looking to perform advanced analysis on volume profiles and order flow. Its robust feature set, coupled with responsive support and valuable educational resources, makes it a top choice for serious traders. However, addressing the performance issues and enhancing the user interface could take this platform to the next level.

Clearly made for real traders who need a stable and powerful platform that works on both Windows and Mac (Love that it works on Mac). I throw all sorts of things at it and it handles incredibly even on fast markets, barely hogging resources. The TPO and VP features are some of the best I've used and the Auto EW and Harmonic stuff is pretty amazing and a huge time saver. Highly recommend if the above things mean anything to you but in general, think it's a better investment than paying recurring fees for something like TV if you're serious about active investing or trading.

The MotiveWave team is very responsive and helpful with providing easy instructions to help me navigate the system. They typically respond within 24 hours, its been great! Very happy with the system!

Motivewave is probably one of the most intuitive and customizeable trading platform out there. I'm customer since a few years and recently checked some other platforms, but for my purposes nothing can compete with Motivewave.

As an example: I only recently discovered that I can add moving averages of different timeframes (daily, hourly, etc) to be drawn in the 1min chart. On top of that, besides choosing the color and line width and type, I could add a custom text label to be drawn next to the end of the line, so that I can still distinguish the many lines on my charts. Not to mention that I could choose the text of the labels in the same custom color as the line itself.

Another feature that I really like is setting custom keyboard shortcuts for custom "tools". E.g. I created a tool to draw a horizontal support/resistance line of a specific color and width and mapped it to a keyboard shortcut. My charts are prepared with just a few key hits and mouse clicks. And if you prefer using the mouse, you can create a toolbar with these custom tools and have the same with only mouse clicks.

Furthermore the application is written in Java and it offers a SDK to create own studies (indicators) and strategies to customize even more. I'm Java developer myself and I created studies that draw important lines in the charts automatically, saving me a lot of time every day. I could even make the study communicate with my own server and built a whole alert system on top of it!

The possibilities to customize are endless!

Motivewave's Elliott wave engine is a game changer! I can evaluate counts lightning fast. No more dragging numbers and letters around, easily auto-click subwaves! Awesome fib time tools too. Infinitely customizable graphics. Hands down the best charting software on the planet.

The usability and functionality are superior. Most importantly, fast, accurate and pleasant CUSTOMER SUPPORT is worth every dime!

1 - Website navigation. 10/10

2 - Platform tools are plenty. The explanation of every aspect in regards to the different versions and all that is included is just perfect. 10/10

3 - Payment processing is fast and great. Platform up and running in no time. (don't forget your data feed). 10/10

4 - Website and internet help, tutorials and "every aspect you need to know" are there; perfectly explained to the last detail. 10/10

5 - Customer support is simply outstanding. I leased the "order flow" version and it was awesome, but I wanted more. Being an Elliot wave trader at heart, I wanted to go to the full "ultimate" edition. Customer support went ahead and canceled the order flow edition and sent me the link to lease the update. Perfect. 10/10

6 - Platform... Well, what can I say? 10/10.

I presented tech support with an issue, that now I have found to be likely out of their control.

I suspect they thought that too, but it didn't stop them from immediately attacking the issue and asking for specific reporting from me and also attempting to replicate the problem on their side.

-I will admit, I found the depth of the program a little overwhelming, and the locations of specific functions seem either redundant or don't necessarily follow my logic but the program is rock solid, highly customizable, responsive, and you can script for it.

Tech Support (and my initial sales questions) were addressed quickly.
