MotiveWave Software Omdömen 

I’m dropping this to 1 star because they clearly have no idea how to fix their own product. Huge wicks are a complete disaster—massive spikes, ridiculous fake wicks, and charts that look totally corrupted. DXFeed themselves said these issues should be fixable, but apparently their developers are so incompetent they still can’t handle it. This platform is a joke

I have been a MotiveWave user/customer since 2017 with lifetime license (Ultimate edition) and recently renewed my update to version 7.
I have always been impressed by its capabilities and its tools to draw and customize charts according to our preferences. Thats was a Top to have for EW, Harmonics, Hurst's cycle, etc...!
But with the last version 7, I am quite disappointed by several issues that have significantly affected my experience and waste our time:
- There is no written user's guide or updated documentation, which makes it difficult to understand or use all features efficiently (how is possible to sell a sofwtare without any Users guide ? )
- Some missing or erros datas from some Brokers on different times frames. Impossible to know if it the Broker or Motivwave was right.
- Several previous features have been removed or limited, including labels, harmonic pattern colors, and the ability to modify or shift colouredr regions on charts.
It appears that version 7 has been developed primarily for new users focused on order flow and DOM tools, while many long-time users like myself have lost important charting flexibility that existed in previous versions.
I reported these issues to sales service's team, but any reply from them since :-(
A bit disappointed...!

The "geniuses" at MotiveWave released a new platform in early September 2025, but they neglected to update their tutorials. I was stymied at every step. The follow-up support was paltry at best.

I had connection problems with my data feed. Motivewave's Brian attended to it promptly and efficiently.

MotiveWave showed so much promise but the technical support really let the application down. I wanted the application purely for the Order flow and volume analysis side of things but all that is a little pointless if you need to trade through another app. The software bugs using the software with my Broker (TradeStation) were simply too many and to risky. Spurious orders, orders that canceled in MotiveWave but not through the API to my broker. There were some very expensive lessons. Tech support was either unresponsive or failed to listen to the problem offering partial solutions and work arounds. There are some excellent functions but much of the application is convoluted and cumbersome Primary analysis and syncing higher time frame studies and drawing a case in point. I only used the application with Tradestation so can't ffer any comment for other brokers. Having dug into the forums though they have still not corrected major connection issues mention Historically going back months (and in one case years) TradeStation connections still ui-intermittently stop printing even though the DOM indicates you are still connected.

MotiveWave was found guilty of human rights discrimination against an employee. In doing so they caused significant harm. The guilty verdict should indicate they are not the people to do business with. They will ruin your life without regard for human rights.

This is a highly customizable tool that is also easy to setup and use. Would recommend MotiveWave to any trader that is needing to use more advance features around orderflow.

I am a relatively new /NQ day trader. I needed a platform that could be customized to a few specific methods of trading. Customized charts, indicators, brackets and DOM. MotiveWave's customer service was responsive and helpful. I would ask a question and have an email response in 15 minutes with the proper details. I looked at four other platform vendors and none of them were responsive to basic questions. So, MotiveWave was an easy decision. If I need help, I know I can get it. Terrific, highly functional product too.

Had a Change of heart and decided to go with the Order flow plan instead of the normal One, these guys refund my first purchase and helped me buy the other One. It was fast and easy, thank you MW

lots of bugs. The breakeven button is malfunctioning. If the position touches BE the tool takes a position in the opposite direction and makes you lose a lot of money. Sometimes you earn 100 points but they make you earn 50. Copy trading works poorly. Far too many problems and technical support that takes more than a week to give you an inadequate response. If you are considering the Motivewave software, close the deal! It is the most comprehensive and flexible software I have ever used in my 30+ years of investing. If you are into Elliott Waves its just amazing!
The staff is extremely helpful and extremely responsive with accurate information. I purchased the license and plan to be an exclusive client of this software from here on!
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Professional grade charting/trading software, great for Futures & Crypto trading, and most of all if you have a Mac like I do - it works perfectly on it!

Have spent 3 days back and forth dealing with Sales Support with “Omar” who is not helpful at all! I’ve explained what happened about 100 times, I want to pay and still no help.
This has now wasted hours of my times over the last 3 days!

At the beginning it’s really hard. They also have this exten ugly webpage and the YouTube guy has a terrible voice using a 1 dollar mic. But their software is fantastic. Especially the DOM / MBO part is the best in industry. They also take your suggestions serious and the chance is high that you will
Find your suggestion weeks later in their update. Love the MotiveWave family

MotiveWave is one of the best trading platforms out there. Yes, it is initially quite complex to set up, but that is simply due to the feature-richness of the platform. Once you have customized it to your liking it is amazing. Support and sales teams are also very helpful with quick response times.

I acquired this software product several years ago and had let my support lapse. Their sales team was extremely helpful in updating my information and updating my support.
