We recently used Steve for our remortgage and he was excellent. We remortgaged during an uncertain and stressful time, when rates were rising rapidly and Steve worked incredibly hard to find us the best rate, saving us thousands.

We've used Steve twice now for securing our mortgage. Both times there have been complexities - houses falling through needing new offers for new place, frustrating credit issues the second time - and in both cases Steve has been a lifeline. With the stress of everything in buying, having a broker is money well spent. In our recent remortgage with credit issues for the first time, he took on our challenges and additional work required (whilst unwell I might add!) to secure us something just before rates further skyrocketed due to market conditions, and his knowledge helped us not damage my credit rating further in the process. He is highly knowledgeable when it comes to mortgages, which you'd think would make him an insufferable bore, but oddly thats not the case.
As a customer it's great to know that someone sacrifices their own sanity by working in such a banal field, so you don't have to.

Great communication throughout the entire process, and Steve was really good at chasing the lumbering conveyancers who seem to need daily prodding to get them to actually convey anything.
