The service I received was amazing - after seeing a picture of a bag I liked they went out of their way to find me something similar. I was so impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

When it comes to bags only the best is good enough and here at The Montrose Bag Company on the North East coast of Scotland, we put heritage and skill at the heart of what we do. Our parent company, Montrose Rope & Sail was founded back in 1789 to serve the Scottish fishing fleets. Fast-forward over two hundred years and MR&S is now the go-to provider of robust and durable all weather tarpaulins and kitbags for rig workers in the North Sea. Using skilled craftspeople and working with 100% waterproof materials, The Montrose Bag Company manufactures to the same high standards to create a complementary range of bags that can tough it out in the most testing of conditions. Over the last forty years countless offshore workers have come to depend on us for the specialised kit bags, backpacks, and other equipment they need to enable them to do their jobs safely and skilfully. But it’s not only oil industry professionals who value what we do. Time and time again we were asked to make our unique range of durable, versatile and reliable bags available to a wider audience. And so having invested in new cutting-edge technology we launched The Montrose Bag Company which builds on four generations of heritage and experience. Using the same skilled craftsmanship, the same tried and tested materials and the same passion for perfection, we’ve extended our range to include bags and luggage that everyone will be proud to own. The customer service was second to none. I ordered gifts and needed them in a very short time scale with a specific badge. I needn't have worried. The order was sorted and processed by Susan and I received the order in time. I can't thank Susan enough as she was so helpful and delivered exactly what she said she would. I would highly recommend this company.

I like the bag
I like the bag, but ive only been on 2 flights, where the bag has had to go into the hold. Its got some very small tears and shows signs of damage already.

Thank you for your feedback — we're really glad to hear that you like the bag, but we're very sorry to learn about the damage you've experienced after only a couple of flights. That’s certainly not the level of durability we aim to provide.
Air travel can be tough on luggage, but small tears and visible wear so early on are disappointing to hear. Are you able to send us some photographs of the damage so we can assess if this is through a fault at our end? Thanks
