A great company that offer products of a very high quality, and have some of the best customer service you could ask for.
The service I received was amazing - after seeing a picture of a bag I liked they went out of their way to find me something similar. I was so impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

When it comes to bags only the best is good enough and here at The Montrose Bag Company on the North East coast of Scotland, we put heritage and skill at the heart of what we do. Our parent company, Montrose Rope & Sail was founded back in 1789 to serve the Scottish fishing fleets. Fast-forward over two hundred years and MR&S is now the go-to provider of robust and durable all weather tarpaulins and kitbags for rig workers in the North Sea. Using skilled craftspeople and working with 100% waterproof materials, The Montrose Bag Company manufactures to the same high standards to create a complementary range of bags that can tough it out in the most testing of conditions. Over the last forty years countless offshore workers have come to depend on us for the specialised kit bags, backpacks, and other equipment they need to enable them to do their jobs safely and skilfully. But it’s not only oil industry professionals who value what we do. Time and time again we were asked to make our unique range of durable, versatile and reliable bags available to a wider audience. And so having invested in new cutting-edge technology we launched The Montrose Bag Company which builds on four generations of heritage and experience. Using the same skilled craftsmanship, the same tried and tested materials and the same passion for perfection, we’ve extended our range to include bags and luggage that everyone will be proud to own. From shoppers to totes, backpacks to holdalls we manufacture everything here at our headquarters in Scotland for export all over the world. From rucksacks to holdalls, travel bag to totes, The Montrose Bag Company has got your luggage needs covered. Both offshore and onshore there really is no better bag. Hi Susan, thanks for the positive review, we really do appreciate it.
Excellent service and a great bag
Excellent service and a great bag. Wanted a bag to fit in the boot of my really small convertable that would take wet gear after fishing, warm gear for winter and running gear and not slide about when having fun with the car. Tick all the above! Very friendly staff, easy ordering process and fast delivery. Just ace! Thanks.

These bags are absolutely brilliant
These bags are absolutely brilliant. Still have my original bag which is now 12 years old and still going strong. I only bought a new one recently as I need two now coz I travel world wide and take more gear.
They are reasonably priced and beings they are made to order the delivery time is fast.
Personally I’d never buy another brand of bag. Montrose Rope & Sail No 1 for me

Fabulous from start to finish.
I contacted the Montrose Bag Co at short notice - to enquire if they had any of their shuttle bags available, as I was travelling the following week. I received a swift reply and confirmation that one of these bags was available. The bag was despatched very quickly and I received it within 48 hours. Communication was fantastic. With the whole service experience being utterly brilliant! It's a great bag - superb quality - and I expect years of use from it. Thanks 👍

A Christmas purchase - sorry for the delay!
I got a set of bags for my wife for Christmas in her favourite colour - purple. A great job!
Whilst I initially thought that the name tags were a little ‘industrial’, it actually turns out that they are dead easy to spot - winner!
I’d definitely use again; although, I suspect that I won’t have to replace my wife’s bags for quite some time!
