Frustrating customer service. Expensive postage cost for returns, not returning my e mail and eventually receiving a dismissive reply. Will now not purchase anything online with is a shame as I have loved Mistral clothes for several years

Mistral has been ok until i returned items. Bad enough you have to pay but the refund notification was weeks ago.
Now ignoring emails. Have emailed saying will make application to small claims court
A total shambles
My experience is pretty much the same as all the other complaints. This company appears to be in total disarray. Having taken 3 attempts to get a skirt which fitted, we returned the second one for a refund. 3weeks later finally received email notification of the refund but guess what, no money has appeared. Numerous emails have been ignored. Finally told refund was done on 26 March but still no money!
Very disappointing customer service....again.
They seem to be ok in sending your order out. However, this is now the 2nd time I have returned something and it takes weeks and weeks to actually get a refund. Lots of emails, lots of Mistral excuses, no refund. Won't be purchasing online anymore.
Mistral- you need to invest in your customer services as this is not the way to build trust with your customers in any way, shape or form.
Appalling Customer service
I have been buying and spending alot of money with Mistral over the years, however the quality now is awful. Two tops washed gently once have holes in, but what is even more frustrating is their customer service, absolutely appalling, it has now been 3 weeks since I have complained and i still have not had an official response.
Not worth the money and certainly not worth supporting. I will NEVER buy from this company again!

I received an order on 29th January, my order contained glass Chriatmas Baubles among other things. The order arrived in a huge box with no other packaging except a small amount of bubble wrap around the baubles, one bauble was ok the other was completely shattered, a scarf i had ordered was also damaged on arrival. I emailed straight away and was told that they don't send out orders out in boxes and blamed the courier for repacking my order, they were going to send a replacement bauble and asked if i could return the scarf, i replied saying that i was unable to do this due to lockdown and have received no response since even though i have send many emails trying to chase this up. Given that they are quite an expensive brand i expected much better customer service and weeks on still await not only a response but a replacement/refund, terrible service and would not recommend
Avoid
Do not buy from this previously good company. They have gone into liquidation it seems from online searches. They have taken money for goods ordered in January and not delivered them to me. I have emailed 3 times so far. No reply to phone calls, no goods arrived and they have not refunded the money taken from my account. Very disappointing.

I returned a wrongly sent tunic when I ordered a dress back in January. I have since sent four emails trying to chase my refund but have received no reply. How frustrating!
Failure to refund goods.
Sadly, I am having similar difficulties with Mistral. I returned an order before Christmas, but they seem reluctant to refund.
The message I am getting is that they are "experiencing issues with our payment gateway and are unable to process refunds to debit/credit cards at this moment in time. We are however able to process a refund directly into your bank account, into your PayPal account or as a gift voucher for your online account. To refund into your PayPal account, we just need to know your email address used for the account. Please check that this is correct. To refund to your bank account, we need your name on the account, account number or sort code."
I have asked for a cheque to refund but am told this is not possible.
Small company or not, Mistral must abide by the terms of its online contract, which is to refund in full with 14 days of receipt of returned goods.
Fantastic service
I would just like to thank Mark and his farther the owner of mistral. Thank you for fitting us in when we were stumped without a boiler before Xmas,, Mark came out on spec within a few days and fitted our new mistral combi boiler which is perfect. I've been in the building game for most of my adult life and the service and fitting was second to none. The boiler is brilliant and quieter than my first one (which was pretty quiet I must say) so all in all fantastic service brilliant service from the Telford team when needed. Friendly family run business THANK YOU!!!
Oh dear
Oh dear, my experience has been similar to those below, ordered two dresses for Christmas on 23rd November, which finally arrived on 27th December, after endless calls and e-mails and issues with the order. I returned today, at my expense and now need to chase my refund. So disappointing when the clothes are so good (value and style).
Delivery was great
Delivery was great. Having to pay for returns is not great. Then a dubious email re refunding money asking for bank account details. Not impressive
Thieves
I placed an order with Mistral and subsequently returned the items to a store. I had to chase Customer Services for a refund and was eventually told that it had been processed. This was back in October. I still haven't received the money in spite of numerous emails and phone calls (which just go to voicemail). It is truly shocking that they think it is ok to steal £50 from customers.

Their in shop customer service used to be good but it got worse and worse. When I wrote to customer service with a valid complaint I got no reply whatsoever, so from my point of view they deserve to go under.

I have had excellent service from this company, even in these troubled times. Goods have always arrived in good condition and all emails have been answered.
Mistral Shops have gone under
Mistral Shops have gone under. They have made all their staff redundant and the shops are being cleared out. They have behaved appallingly towards their staff and just before Christmas. 😞😞😞😞😞😞
Another customer lost!
I’m afraid they have lost another very good customer, received a faulty dress, eventually got an email asking for photos, which I sent, have heard nothing, so returned the dress at my own expense, still waiting, if you want good customer service girls, try ( seasalt).
Appalling - avoid!
As with other recent reviewers I've had a very bad experience with a recent order. One item was missing from the delivery. After countless messages to customer services and disputing the payment with my credit card I finally got a refund after two months. Why on earth they bill before dispatching I don't know. One item has fallen apart and I was promised a return label would be sent but it hasn't so I'm stuck with an item I cannot wear. Mistral appear to be in disarray and I won't be shopping with them again. They appear to be letting down a lot of loyal customers judging by other reviews.
So disappointed, eta and one day after posting I get my refund (coincidence?) only took 3 months.

I could have written the review from Lucy (below) virtually word for word. I bought so much from them and love their clothes. I can’t believe how I have been treated.
The only difference is I finally got a reply from Mary in customer services (23/10) saying they thought they had sent the item in September and would pass this problem on to her manager Claire Blacker. Still no reply. Still no delivery. Still no refund.
