Great Drone and Amazing Customer Service
I purchased my Micro Drone at the Makers Central show at the NEC.
When setting up the drone for the first time I did have an issue with the controller.
I contacted the customer service team and the response was amazing.
They responded to my query within 15 minutes and were able to resolve the issue.
I wish all companies had such a good customer service team.
The drone is great, very easy to fly, even for a beginner like me.
I would definitely recommend getting one.

My experience with micro drone has been great I received the micro drone 3.0 neo on January and I have been loving it. When I crashed it the company was happy to send over another one, I look forward to the future of micro drone.

The drone didn't work and they did nothing
I bought one of those little drones. To my surprise when i arrived to my home the drone didn't work. I contacted Exteme Flyers and after many e-mails with no solution they stop answering. Didn't give me a refund or repair nor parts like the battery (that seems to be dead). They just stop answering.

The good news is our Micro Drone is very straightforward to fix. They are built with a fully modular design, meaning any parts, whether it’s a blade or a motor arm, it can be quickly replaced. We deal with these situations every day and get customers back in the air fast.
Let’s get this resolved and your drone flying as it should.
Beware of this company!
Unreliable company that never delivered the Microdrone 4 drone (promised in 2019). Despite many lies and total mismanagement over the past 7 years, this product never materialized.
My update after the reply from microdrone.co.uk:
Dozens of broken promises have been made by microdrone.co.uk. The refusal to show real video footage of outdoor flights, the constant bragging about how good they were, the lack of evidence that anything has been developed at all, the thousands of unanswered questions from donors, and much more amateurism.
Anyway, I'll leave it at that, because this is a waste of time. I was one of the lucky few who got their money back from Indiegogo. However, that doesn't change my opinion about the disastrous process.

We’re sorry you feel this way, but this review relates to an unrelated historic 2019 Indiegogo project for Micro Drone 4.0, not to any products we sell or ship today.
Crowdfunding is not the same as purchasing a retail product. The Micro Drone 4.0 project was significantly impacted by events of the pandemic outside our control. While we understand the frustration, characterising the project as a “scam” is incorrect.
Importantly, our Micro Drone 3.0 NEO retail product is fully developed and supported today.
We support all our supporters and remain transparent via official project updates.
Micro Drone 3.0 NEO is a great product
I feel I should post my positive experience. I bought the 3.0 NEO and think the quality is excellent. Flies well, the camera quality is brilliant and very happy with this as my first drone. I will be getting a bigger drone in the future - look forward to seeing what this company does next.

Micro Drone 3.0 NEO Review (3 days usage)
I purchased the Micro Drone 3.0 NEO at a U.S. exhibit and it arrived on time. The printed instructions included in the package were a bit hard to follow, and I couldn’t find detailed guidance online for setting up the camera or connecting the Wi-Fi to the app. I reached out to the support team, and they were very patient in helping me get everything working. I’d recommend adding more detailed setup instructions in the package and creating hands-on video tutorials to help beginners like me get started more easily. It is not complex at all, but a good tutorial would be really helpful.
The drone is very easy to control, I like the smooth streaming between camera and phone app.

Excellent aftercare
Purchased a drone at an exhibition stand and didn’t open it for several weeks.
Unfortunately a couple of issues when it was opened., contacted microdrone by emailing customer support and exchanged a couple of emails that addressed some of the issues but a replacement transmitter was required too.
This was swiftly received and the drone is now fully as new and working excellently, so appreciation to Lidia for her help and clarifications to address my issues efficiently and politely.
I have seen some negative reviews regarding microdrone around the internet but this is not my experience at all, so thank you for acting quickly and professionally. Given my interaction I have no reason to not recommend microdrone.
Just a note to suggest a contactable daytime customer care line might be helpful in addition to just an email service.

Excellent customer support
My daughter’s drone had a faulty motor; after a brief email exchange with the support team a replacement motor was sent to me at no cost. I fitted the new motor in a couple of minutes after viewing the video on their website and now we are up and flying. Excellent support experience.

I am extremely disappointed with Extreme Flyers and their handling of the Microdrone 4.0 project. They committed to delivering the product by the end of 2019, yet it’s now years later, and there has been no delivery, no substantial updates, and no transparency from their side. Despite numerous requests for refunds, it seems highly unlikely that anyone will see their money returned. The complete lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable. I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company, as it seems they have no intention of fulfilling their promises.

This isn’t correct. We absolutely do provide spare parts, and the entire drone is designed to be modular specifically so it can be repaired quickly and affordably.
We supply replacement parts directly and support customers through repairs every day, it’s one of the core features of the product.

One star is being generous. Continually misled people into backing their project and still refuse to do the decent thing and refund people their money. Hiding behind Covid as an excuse for the project being late is lame. Crooks.

False advertising and bad community management.
The owner isn't delivering on his promises, and when confronted, never provides any evidence of actual progress. He spends more time fighting the critics than actually showing his drone progress, and acknowledging that it's going to be of lesser quality (no neuralia support, lesser image quality, flight time, etc.) false advertising, and bad community management.

Bait and Switch Scam- Deserves Less Than 1 Star!
This is a follow up review of Micro Drone 4, Vernon Kerswell and Extrememe Flyers whotook our money with the promise to deliver a drone by June 2019. It is July 2021 and there is and will never be a MD4 delivered. This shameless fraudster claims this is a genuine project while he spends down our money with nothing to show over two years after delivery was "GUARANTEED" by Kerswell himself. He has done nothing but lie, break promises and guarantees. If you give him your money, you are a bigger fool than we were. Please don't fund his grifter lifestyle.
