I was starting to notice my hair thinning, particularly when it was wet, and was starting to contemplate shaving it all off. Luckily before I did I saw the results a friend was having and asked what he’d done. He recommended MHR Manchester.

I was still a bit sceptical about the whole process but thought it was worth giving it a go, even if it just got me through my wedding a few months later.

I’ve had a really good experience. Sarah, Dean, Bethan, Jodie and the team are all very approachable, friendly and really helpful. It’s a very relaxed environment, ideal for getting a bit of admin boxed off whilst you’re being treated.

I’ve had some great results, none surgically. Even my hair stylist is impressed/ relieved, I think he thought there was going to be no need for him pretty soon!

If you follow the recommendations and commit to it, it really does work!

Well, where do I start !

From the first port of contact with Sarah, the service and professionalism has been nothing but outstanding.

This is a big thing for me to go through, I was constantly reassured by everyone involved and my questions were answered so quickly, whether it be by email or phone.

On the day of surgery, Dr Kunnure and the 2 gorgeous ladies that assisted him, were amazing.

My blood pressure was monitored, and Dr Kunnure was so reassuring. He made it very clear that the safety and wellbeing during my transplant was paramount, and he would never put me at risk.

It was not as bad as I predicted, and I went home as planned, with a clear pack of instructions.

There was some soreness as I would expect, but the most worrying thing for me was to get the hairline correct. I wanted it to be age appropriate.

Just Wow ! Dr Kunnure and the 2 ladies did the most amazing job, just to see it straight after the op, made me a very happy man !

I was called from the practice on 2 occasions after the op, to check on my well being, and had a follow up assessment with Sarah at the practice yesterday.

Whilst I appreciate many people travel to Turkey for their transplants, and the results that I have seen are just amazing, for me, it was a personal choice.

I wanted to be local to home, and after carrying out extensive research, and having 2 other consultations, I am so pleased with my choice and the procedure.

The person that helped me make the decision to go with MHR, was Sarah.

Knowledgable, incredibly bright, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

I was very sceptical when I first went to the clinic. Everyone was very helpful, professional and kind!
After about 6 weeks I could see lots of new hair growing, especially on my temples. By the end of the course I had so much hair I felt I had gone back to my 40's again! I am 70!

Women’s hair loss is not something most of us want to discuss… I was fairly desperate and very nervous when I first plucked up courage to contact MHR. I was made to feel comfortable and have been pleased with the results which we’re slow at first but happy with the eventual result… it’s an ongoing process. On the whole the staff were great, I would recommend.

I was extremely hesitant to discuss my hair loss with anyone, but MHR Clinic made this easy for me. My consultation with Sarah was very reassuring and filled me with the confidence to get the treatment done. All the staff are super helpful, friendly and attentive making this experience the best it can be for me, and I look forward to the months to come!

They bombard you with incessant calls and emails numerous times a week, months after showing the slightest bit of interest. Their persistent nagging early on resulted in them being blocked on all fronts, as they came across as incredibly immature and unprofessional. So much so, they haven't even cottoned on that all their efforts have been futile, as they are still calling and showing up in my blocklist!

Your best bet is to stay away from this company who are incidentally actually based in Harewood House, West Yorkshire, not Harrogate, North Yorkshire misleading everyone on their website. Harrogate has a posh and professional connotation, which this company certainly doesn't have.

I signed up with MHR in April last year for an 8 month course of treatment at a cost of £3080, they assured me that after this time frame i would have a thick head of hair, however after just over 5 months into the treatment it was clear to me that my hair had made no visible signs of improvement, also i had an allergic reaction to the hair thickening product which made my face swell up...
I initially asked for a part refund of £500 and explained i was not happy with the condition or indeed the results as promised, MHR responded that i should continue with the treatment and judge after the next 3 months and finish the treatment, but if anything my hair was worse than when i started the treatment with them.
Basically you take 3 natural herbal tablets , the Minoxidil can also be purchased on line at a fraction of the cost that MHR charge you, and the fortnightly laser treatment did absolutely nothing for me.
I wished i had gone with my instincts and gone ahead with an actual hair transplant at less the cost than MHR charged me ! - i do not have the money to waste on what was and is quite clearly a rip off treatment plan, i feel i have been mislead by this company and robbed of £3000 by my own stupidity, i am just a regular guy i am not rich and really cannot afford to lose my money like this.
i wished i had had some more honest and realistic reviews to read before i parted with my money in such a foolhardy manor, if you are thinking of this treatment i would advise you to reconsider and go ahead with an actual hair transplant and NOT hair restoration... it simply does not work !

MHR Minoxidil is by far the best formulation I have used. Best use and results is alongside their bespoke laser treatment plans. All staff are very helpful and friendly - putting you at ease and making you feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

Just approaching the end of my 12 month course and the visible changes are immense. My hair is back ! It was definitely worth it , can't believe how it's magically regrown...really really great results.

I'm currently in my 5th month laser treatment plan for 12 months and the results have been fantastic. I felt like the growth was coming, but after my first review you can truly see the difference that it has made and I'm not even halfway through.

Over the past few years I had noticed that my hair had started thinning and in some areas had fallen out. As time went by some of the areas has become worse than others and decided it was time to actively explore the options available and through long periods of trawling the Internet, stumbled across MHR Clinic.

After making contact with them through their website, I was contacted the following day to book myself in for a consultation. I had no idea what was entailed and prior to visiting was unsure of whether the various treatments would work for me, given the nature of how my hair was thinning and falling out.

The thing that stood out the most at the initial consultation was the level of detail and thoroughness of the explanations given as to why my hair had become thin, damaged and non existent in certain areas. I was also impressed with the use of technology to show what exactly was happening on my head and what the chances of salvaging what was left were, by the end of the session I was convinced it would work for me and signed up for an eighteen session course.

Within a couple of months, any skepticism had gone as I had started to notice visible differences in the coverage and thickness of my hair. The differences were also noticed by my family and friends who have all commented on what a big difference a few months of treatment had made.

Skipping forward a few months to September where I had just completed the halfway mark in my treatment and in turn undergoing my mid-way consultation, I was completely shocked to see the transformation from day one until now. What a difference nine sessions under the lasers had made, I was completely shocked to see the progress made, especially to the areas which were barren of hair. Having seen the progress made at this point I am excited to see the final results at the end of my course.

Another positive note are how helpful and friendly the staff are, always very welcoming and happy to help with and questions or concerns I may have. I was also pleasantly surprised by the overall cost of the treatment and in terms of value for money and results thus far, it is definitely money well spent.

I have nothing but positives to say about MHR Clinic and would encourage anyone who was looking to have a consultation with a view to having treatment to get in touch with them as you will not be disappointed with your results.

This is because the issue of hair loss is treated long term, rather than immediately trying to get you in for a transplant (which actually doesn't stop the hair loss). I was possibly a little sceptical at first, how could laser therapy, herbal tablets etc. actually work when everyone else seems to be only pushing hair transplants. I'm four months in and honestly can't believe the results, I have visible natural hair regrowth and best of all my full head of hair feels so much thicker and stronger.
The service has been excellent from start to finish. Dean was my consultant and explained the science behind hair loss and the MHR method, a huge thank you to him and the rest of the team.

I am a 22 year old male currently in my 9th month of my 12 month treatment plan. I can honestly say it’s been money well spent. I can see & feel a huge difference in my hair, and my confidence has also grown. From the first phone call, to sitting down with hair consultant Dean, I was immediately impressed with the thoroughness and professional service I experienced.
I was invited to the Knutsford (Manchester) clinic at a time that suited myself (out of office hours), welcomed by Bethan, really polite and obviously confident in her role.
I met Dean, again, very welcoming and very knowledgeable. He sat me down, asked me my concerns and my vision for an end result? I explained I was looking in to a hair tranplant, however following a really informative and clear conversation with Dean, I soon realised there were other options available to me that could be just as beneficial, if not give a better end result for myself. Dean was clear and concise with the information about all the different procedures and options there were. He spent the time explaining to me about what happens to our hair and how loosing hair happens, to the point where I found myself resiting his words to everyone I spoke to about it, I was amazed. Who knew hair follicles were still there just needing that bit of stimulation.
One of the options we spoke about was DHT blocking and Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT). This is amazing, if you have any doubt, there is no need, it really does work, I had my doubts at first... surely it cant work, how does tablets, solution and a laser grow hair back on my head?..... BUT, it really does!
Absolutely well worth doing. Along with the fortnightly laser treatment in the clinic, which let me tell you, allows you the time to relax with a brew and a TV for 40 minutes, something I personally look forward to every 2 weeks!
I am currently 13 sessions in to my 26 session plan, so half way, I started to see results within 1 month (some may take longer), they say within 2-3 months results start being visible.
I have just had my half way treatment assessment and it just proved what I have been seeing. Dean took photos of my head before starting this treatment and took photos again after the 13 sessions of laser and the daily routine and what a result, I AM OVER THE MOON. I have a full head of hair.... not just hair, but a thicker head of hair!
The daily routine I initally thought may have been a tie on my life, but I was wrong, it happens as part of my day and it has become second nature.
I was so surprised at the price, I thought it would have been alot dearer.

I was recommended the MHR clinic by a friend and after having several consultations with other companies I got a different feel when attending MHR. The experience felt much more personable and during my initial consultation with Sarah she answered all my questions and allowed me all the time I needed to ensure I got as much information as possible from my initial consultation. The team at MHR are brilliant and always on hand to answer any questions, have a look through videos and pictures you send them of your progress after the transplant and put you at ease. The day of the transplant was all straight forward as Sarah and Annabelle had answered all my questions beforehand and the experience was pain free and made as comfortable as possible by the staff there. I would highly recommend anyone in a similar position to myself to use MHR
