It's been fun watching the oyster mushrooms grow we've had equivalent too I'd guess 4 shop punnets....a couple more on the way but to be honest if you want value for money with loads of mushrooms don't bother ...this is an honest review fun but won't buy again

We purchased two oyster mushroom kits, one yellow and one pink. There is no growth at all from the yellow one, although the pink was very good and grew almost immediately. ‘Is the room too cold? Are you giving too much water? Are you giving too little water? Can we have a photo of the room?’ Both kits have been treated EXACTLY the same - one grew and one didn’t.

At the end of the day, the bottom line is that these mushrooms are supposed to be EASY to grow! I don’t want to be forced to spend time ago agonising over whether or not I’m doing things properly.

Incidentally, I checked out the reviews on their website before purchasing and they seemed more positive than the ones on Trustpilot. I could be wrong, but I suspect no one has ever received a refund from them.

PS Thank you for your reply, but we have sent you photos and followed your instructions. Still no growth, I’m afraid.

The Lions Mane mushrooms have grown really well and taste great! Merryhill's customer service was excellent and quickly sorted a delivery issue for me. Would definitely buy from them again.

Quality porcini mushrooms, 500g. Fast delivery. Great service.

Bought three kits, pink oyster mushrooms grew well, but only one harvest, Yellow oyster only one hole had some growth. We are still waiting on Lion Mane. Most expensive mushrooms on the planet. Never again

I've grown my own Lion's mane to support my ADHD and I can say this company's mushrooms really do grow- I've had 3 different crops from 1 box, I even put it outside after the first 2 crops and it's grown another load of mushrooms!!

Currently enjoying a great crop of white and chestnut mushrooms. Initially placed the boxes in totally the wrong place/temp, emailed Merryhill with phots, who very quickly responded and put me right. this resulted in rapid growth of tasty mushrooms. Thank you Keiran for your advice and guidance, I will be back to order more.

My partner bought 2 packs for me as a present, followed the instructions to the letter and nothing, total waste of her money.
Buy your mushrooms in the shop, much cheaper !!

Purchased two kits as Christmas gifts one for hubby who loves mushrooms and one for grandkids as an experience. I don’t eat them but I’ve been the one looking after them 🥴. I’ve been so impressed (not enough to try)’ so far we’re on our 3rd picking here. Grandkids were much later starting there’s, but they are looking good so far. Definitely recommend and will definitely be purchasing more as gifts

We brought the Chestnut Mushroom kit and started it on 25.12.24. Sadly it amounted to nothing even though we followed the instructions carefully and did exactly what it said. We thought maybe it is a bad batch? The customer service was absolutely appalling, they were rude and did not care, not that I asked for one but did not offer a full refund, they wanted evidence of the room it was in and offered a new kit but we had to pay for delivery! I would not recommend this company.

Just opened my box of Dried Porcini Mushrooms and i can honestly say WOW!!! Could not believe how large the pieces of mushrooms were. No tiny bits, dust etc but clean pieces. Well packaged and the aroma was divine.
Would definitely order from Merryhill again.

Ordered two ready to grow kits for an unusual Christmas gift. They arrived on time, with very clear instructions. After gifting (after storing in the fridge for 5 days) the mushrooms were quick to start growing and the first harvest was a week later. A plentiful crop of tasty, big mushrooms. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

First class customer service - quick to reply and sort out. Order was well packaged and full of information so I can get the most out of the kits. Plus really great to support a small British business. Highly recommend.

My wife ordered Pink Oyster mushrooms for my birthday; they arrived on the morning of my birthday as requested. Nothing seemed to be happening for 10 days. Contacted Merryhill, via their website, who replied within minutes with advice. Now have loads of fruiting bodies growing and looks like will be a large crop.

Great customer service. The order was never delivered but I received an extremely quick response. They had dispatched another item to me without delay.

Looking for an original last minute gift, I chose the yellow & pink oyster mushroom growing pack as a gift as it yields multiple harvests. The web site advised it would be a pre order item with a week delay in dispatch, but when my asap request to meet an special date was made, Merryhill Mushrooms really stepped up, and somehow managed to dispatch & deliver to meet my 2 day deadline.
