The best in Dublin
The best in Dublin. 3.5% fee not the cheapest, but worth it for the highly professional and efficient service. They usually transfer funds in up to 10 days, but they sped this up for me upon my request. I sold gold to them on Monday and the money was in my account by Friday. I really appreciated that.

Expensive package charge
I was disappointed as was originally offered ÂŁ1349.00 but after arriving was offered ÂŁ1189.00 because the packaging of the 10gram bar was slightly creased. I felt that ÂŁ160 euros was abit high. Otherwise staff were polite and recieved payment into my account in 4 working days

Hi Caspar,
Thank you for your review.
Any offer we make to purchase precious metals from members of the public is subject to the products and the packaging of the products being in mint or 'as new' condition. Unfortunately we can only offer reduced prices to customers if the product or packaging is in anyway scratched, damaged or showing signs of wear and tear. We would like to apologise for not making this clearer when we made our initial indicative offer over the phone.
We always encourage our customers to store their metals in a Safe Deposit Box or similarly secure environment to prevent any damage or wear and tear to precious metals and the packaging.
Kind regards,
Merrion Gold Team.
