Buying a headstone for a loved one has to be one of life's least welcome shopping experiences but the Memorial Company made it as pleasant as it could be. The staff were practical and knowledgeable but also sensitive to the fact that it was a difficult time. Communication was always excellent, as was attention to detail. The finished result looks just as I'd hoped. It is a beautiful headstone.

This was difficult for us as we do not live locally to the Memorial Company and so we were having to do this remotely. From the very first communication with Venetia, we knew that we were in safe hands. We sought and were given advice on how to proceed. She also suggested appropriate wording. Everything from start to finish was professional. We were delighted with the headstone.

After reading reading reviews and seeing various headstones and desk markers provided by The Memorial Company, I chose them to provide a desk marker for my beloved wife.
From the outset I was treated with compassion and respect by Jane. She explained the procedure and more importantly the constraints I had to adhere to regarding size etc. I had already designed the wording and layout which were out of the ordinary. However Jane suggested a couple of minor changes that would be more appropriate.
The desk marker has been completed and fitted much earlier than anticipated. It is absolutely beautiful and colours in the granite itself and the decorations on it are stunning.
The help and advise from Jane was invaluable and greatly appreciated.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this family run company.

The team at Memorial Company are very helpful and provide an excellent service. Headstones are good quality, nicely engraved and Memorial Team offer advice on how best to word and set out your memorial which is very useful if you have never had to do it before, as it ensures you get the best from your headstone for your loved one.
You are kept up to date along the whole process and given the opportunity to see a layout on paper of your wording as it will appear on your headstone.
I have had two headstones from them, and recently they refurbished my father's 40 year old headstone which has come up as new.
I would highly recommend this company.

They are very friendly, helpful and professional. We had an existing cremation plot headstone/desk marker collected from the plot, cleaned, re-gilded, an additional inscription added and re-placed on the plot. They have done a superb job and provided an exceptional service.

They check every detail and ensure customer satisfaction before all aspects of work take place. The finished memorial is absolutely beautiful and a wonderful tribute to my mom. So happy with the headstone for my mum. She never wanted a big ornate stone but I was really worried that it would be too small and plain and look lost amongst the huge ones. I worried for nothing as it turned out beautifully and looks very classy and elegant. The memorial company were so helpful in advising me at such a sad time and I would highly recommend them to anyone for their compassion and help.

The ladies who dealt with me were very helpful and understanding. I had quite a tight timeframe as we wished to intern my moms' ashes before Christmas.I had no direct experience of dealing with any funeral arrangements before . They went the extra mile and checked suppliers for stock and kept me regularly informed. They were a real help at this difficult time , they really cared.

Having not had the heavy burden of having to arrange a burial before it was very daunting however when it came to process of choosing a stone finding the right words and the whole procedure was made 100% easier using the people from the memorial company...my family and I will be forever thankful for your kind and empathetic manner we are all so grateful and appreciative thank you
