by far worst customer service in Malta. Cannot help you past 6pm. Don't send you bills and then they charge you extra for late payments.

I recently switched to Melita's fibre internet service and it's been a game-changer. Their connection speed is incredibly fast, a significant upgrade from my previous provider. I now also have Wi-Fi coverage in every room

I am trying to reach customer care via Melita Chat, however, no one has replied. The reason is to change my subscription.
As per the internet speed, I am supposing paying a higher fee for improved speed, however, some months ago I commenced to experience unstable reception and low speed.
they should be ashamed for their absolutely incompetent customer support. i am a physician cut off from communication for 2 weeks. i have spent several hours mailing and chatting with around 15-20 people from melita, who each time promised to call me back. since severe harm was caused by melita related to my job as a physician i will now take legal action. they left me no choice!
Been with melita for 2 years. after a little bit of rain internet is horrible. when I first applied with them I had no internet for 4months, then right after this internet kept disconnecting all the time, could not do 5 minutes lecture without disconnecting. What they asked from me after every month is the 35ewro payment. unfortunately in Malta there are only crap internet providers
Terrible Technical Support team that ask you questions a 5 year old would when having an issue with a SIM that has never worked (did you turn roaming on/off, can you turn your phone on/off). Also having to constantly repeat answers you have already given them (on live chat so they even have them written in front of them). Never had one issue with my Epic SIM in two years but thought I was getting a better deal here.
Definitely avoid Melita if you ever think you may need aftercare assistance.
Please do not never subscribe Melita services.
They propose a two years contract telling you that you can move your membership with you.
I am moving and they don't have authorisation to install their services at my new place so they are making me pay fees for resignation!

They lie to you when you subscribe that you won't have any issue in case of a move out.
When I asked them to show where the fact that I am the one who have to pay for the impossibility of install services in their Terms and conditions, the only answer was it is not our fault you have to pay.
The service I had on the phone was repeating the same sentence over and over again.
I asked for the contact to the complains department and then the mediation department because I disagreed with this decision.
And the person on the phone refused to give it to me saying he is the last resort, that he won't provide anything because this is not their fault.
How a provider of services can treat their clients like this?
I asked on the legal part and they did not even accept to go through their Terms and conditions to acknowledge the fact that this was not on me but on them.
If you don't fight and just trust them, they'll take advantage on you.

My opinion is to not use this provider. Some others may be more trustful.
Melita doesn't deserve even for 1star. It's the worst company I even had any contact with!!! They are not able to fix my bill since 1month, I applied for a plan for 15.99 per month but my bill is 60. I spoke with 6 agents and nothing changes. I literally hate them now.
As always Melita is ready to disappoint and infuriate. I got contacted for some "missing equipment". Once on chat, I was advised it's some home internet bits for a service terminated 3 years and 4 months ago. Since I cannot remember where the equipment was taken over 3 years ago, I am going to be charged 100 Euro. I also received a bill notification and enquired about it. It took a few different questions, and only after asking if I was owed money I actually got to know that apparently, I have adjustment credit. If I didn't ask that specific question, I had no way to know this, because being my service terminated I cannot even access my account.
The most ridiculous company with the most ridiculous customer service, they are thieves and liars. Stay very much away from these people.
I moved into a flat and agreed with the previous tenants to transfer their account with Melita. Someone came by with a digital pad for me to sign. She just showed me where to sign. I asked her to confirm it was a transfer, she said yes (my fault, I should have let her wait 15 minutes while I read the contract).
Later when I cancelled my account, they flipped an extra payment of 150 euros on me. I chatted with customer support, talked on the phone with a manager. All they did was say "can't do anything, my papers don't mention any transfer".
I gave up and paid. 1-2 months later I suddenly have a bill for 250 euros. No one told me there was a bunch of equipment that they decided to charge 50 euro each for. I thought there had been a deposit from the previous users as there normally is. Obviously no one from Melita warned me about this and I had already left the craphole Malta.
I gave up and decided to pay another 250 euro just to not have to deal with these robbers anymore. They sent me an email saying I had 15 days to pay or it would go to the credit institutions. I go to pay and these clowns had closed my account. So now I had to spend 30 minutes with their chat support just to be able to pay...I mean get robbed again.
Melita, you are absolutely disgusting. Shame on you.
Worst customer service ever. On a normal market, I mean outsidfe the little rock of Malta in the sea, this company could not exist with this kind of sevice. Support useless, technican helpless, system not stabil. Honestly, flush your money in the toilet when you want to buy a product of them.

I love Melita. It disconnects every couple minutes. I recently got a new router to try and solve this problem but its now a lot worse. Thank you Melita!❤️❤️❤️
As useless as a glass hammer. Send you a message that their service will suffer an outage for 4 hours between 07:30-11:30. Three hours later, at 14:30 service was still out, and when reported to support and requested compensation, they offer a full 1 Euro, for 7 hours of work missed. 1 full Euro. Unacceptable and disrespectful towards clients who spend each month and pay on time.

Sono passato da FTTC a FTTH cogliendo l'offerta ENEL. Se dovessi fare una valutazione sulla qualità della connessione 5 stelle non basterebbero. Il grosso problema è che l'attivazione (o risoluzione dei problemi), mi ha privato di internet per più di un mese e mi ha tenuto impegnato per molto tempo in telefonate al call center. Peraltro ho trovato sempre personale gentile.

Their attitude to customers speaks volumes about their approach to business. Screw the customer by offering top ups in values of multiples of €10 so your always left with credit in your wallet if buying their €15 Pockit bundle.
No prior notice that you are outside your allowance until all of your credit is used up.
Their answer, you should have kept a better track of your usage.
While I agree it's my responsibility to a degree as far as I am concerned they should be advising you prior to using your credit.
I believe they are required to do so by EU directives. In other countries in Europe I've received a text message telling me my allowance was used up and I'd be charged for any use outside of my allowances. Not in Malta, not by Melita.
Regardless of this being a requirement or not it makes sense from a customer service and relationship perspective. If you make your customers unhappy then they are going to go elsewhere.
It is like they intend on this happening to customers. To not offer top ups in increments matching your Pockit charges you are ensuring that customers have credit to use.
You can avail of €5, €10 and €20 in the shop so why not online. Given Malta is so small and shops here regularly have no credit available or have only some of the values available it makes sense to offer them online.
