This review is about tilted contour stool. The idea of tilting sounded amazing after physical pain I had in my hips for months and my beloved sadle stool (from different company) had to be replaced. Widen leg position on my sadle stool and discomfort in my lower back pushed me to try different type of seat (I chosen contour stool with extra cushioning). But you can only seat on it at 90 degrees, other wise you will be sliding down. Someone didn’t think it through well.. The idea of selling tilted contour type stool is totally useless if you can’t tilt it ! It may work with saddle seat just great but I have not been given a chance to purchase different seat!
I was happy to spend more to make it right for what I needed. I asked if I could pay for saddle seat, but this chair as I have been told is made for this seat type only. They wouldn’t accept exchange and the explanation I was given their customer service representative, was totally not logical. “What left factory can not go back”.
I understand the colour of my seat could not be in demand and I was happy to take the hit for choosing this seat type. But also extra parts I ordered, to make this chair better (higher high gas strut and anti-static wheel set are not returnable neither!
Anti static Wheels are not best on the market, I have been using much better wheels from my old chair. Information about high of standard strut is incorrect on the website, just the regular strut happened to be enough for me. How greedy the company is to not even accept return of spare parts that are not needed!? They are great with upselling for sure! Making you have something that sounds essential!
Unless you try their stool else where, I wouldn’t risk buying!
The only solution offered to me, was to buy another chair from them!

Exceptionally helpful sales person (Ian) who arranged for one of their standard trolleys to be adapted to suit our particular requirements and the item was manufactured precisely to our spec and at a very good price bearing in mind it had to be specially made. They were able to paint the item again to our exact needs. Now the item has arrived I can see that it is exceptionally well made, very sturdy and good to look at.

I have had a high-rise saddle stool from Meditelle for many years now and it has been an absolute boon in mitigating the effects of an arthritic spine. Also, I cannot speak too highly of the prompt, efficient and kindly service that has followed its purchase. Thank you.

Possibly their profit margins are so high that they cannot be arsed to behave normally to a potential buyer.
