I have subscribed not that long ago and have before that relied on many free sources of opera and concert video. What makes this service of value is the superb picture quality but even more the excellent audio which at 320 is far better than the normal far lower level bit rate of free services and it makes all the difference. Also the overall production care and attention is also excellent and so I would recommend this for those of us who every so often want to enjoy luxury audio and video quality .

A very fishy company with terrible customer service. They automatically renewed me, after sending an email warning about renewal coming up that gmail sent to my spam folder, because they send so many emails. Anyway, contacted them less than 3 hours after they processed payment and asked for a cancelation and refund, and got nasty emails back just pointing to their user agreement and saying no exceptions. Would be easier to swallow if they had any decent content, but it's highly limited, of questionable audio-visual quality, and often dated. You can find a lot better quality for free on YouTube. Don't waste your money.

I am a new user of medici.tv. I have watched/listened to 60 programs thus far in all categories except ballet. Medici.tv does a marvelous job in musical content, and less well in technology, but better this than the other way around. There isn't an alphabetical list of anything. There are filters within categories, but the filters are arranged by number of programs (i.e., Verdi with 300+ programs is the first listed filter in the opera composer category, and somebody with only one program is the last in a very long list of opera composers; you need to guess where your composer of interest would fall in this distribution). The programs from which to choose are presented in the form of little pictures with basic information, ordered randomly, perhaps by date of acquisition. It is challenging to find anything a second time but any program that opens appears in your history list. Since there are only seconds between the end of one program and the beginning of the next, a lot of programs wind up in the history list that you really haven't listened to but they are in the list because you didn't make the switch fast enough. But you can assign programs to a favorites list, and then when you listen to them, you can remove them from the favorites list and they go back into the history list. This is not an optimal procedure but, on the other hand, the random sort and quick change features have resulted in my listening to things I never would have chosen to listen to otherwise. I subscribed for the music, and I'm getting lots of great music; dealing with the technology is just the price of admission.

Me acabo de suscribir a esta plataforma y ha sido un poco decepcionante.
Para empezar la aplicación está en inglés, parece que no saben cuantos millones de personas hablan este idioma en el mundo….
Los subtítulos de muchas óperas no están en español….
No hay aplicación para instalarla en la TV, necesito algún aparato externo para poner proyectar el móvil a la TV, esto no pasa por ejemplo con YouTube, YouTube Music o Spotify, Amazon Music que además son plataformas gratuitas.
He visto mucha publicidad en español, pero una vez que te enganchan el resto en inglés….

I've subscribed for a couple of years. The content is limited. A lot of it goes back decades but it's good overall.

I haven't had the problems with the Android app that others report, and it works fine on my PC browser.

Also on the plus side, 25% and even 50% discounts on the annual rate are offered from time to time.

The reason I don't expect to resubscribe is that the search function is far too rudimentary. You can look for a composer, but good luck finding a particular piece by that composer. To do that, you'd have to look at the program for each individual concert feeling that composer.

Je suis abonné à Medici.tv depuis 4 ans et était satisfait de la qualité des programmes jusqu'à une quinzaine de jours quand tout est parti en vrille. J'utilise un I-Mac et tout d'un coup quand j'essayais de voir une vidéo, lors de l'ouverture de la fenêtre un cercle tournait, tournait... sans que la musique commence. J'ai contacté le service technique qui m'a dit que cet incident était lié à la nouvelle version d'IOS et que je devais utiliser Google Chrome ce que j'ai fait sans pouvoir y entrer. Dans le même temps j'ai disparu de la version Safari. Enfin l'assistance technique est nulle

This is a disreputable company that fraudulently charged me $149 for an auto renewal subscription without any prior notice that they were charging me. When I got an email from PayPal about the charges made to my account, I immediately contacted Medici to cancel the subscription and request a refund because I did not authorize the auto renewal. Their reply was a false claim that they had sent me an email a month prior alerting me of the auto renewal. I NEVER received that email. I did a full search of my entire inbox, trash, and junk folders. It never came. But still, this bogus company lied and claimed that they did.

Do NOT trust Medici.tv. They have terrible customer service, and their streaming platform is awful. I could never get it to work with AppleTV, and it had constant streaming problems with Roku where the stream would drop randomly, refuse to buffer, or display error messages when you tried to access a title. This whole experience was an appalling waste of money, and the fraudulent charges are the final straw.

Vous avez de nombreux bugs et couacs, d'après les commentaires et critiques de vos spectateurs et clients sur internet. D'autres sont très contents mais il n'y a pas de profil technique type pour qu'on le soit ou pas, pour que ce soit le paradis ou l'enfer. Pas plus Apple que PC, pas plus tel FAI qu'un autre, etc.

En fait c'est une sorte de loterie, avec une chance sur deux. Et encore, on n'est pas sûr que cela dure, plutôt bien ou plutôt mal.

Sans essayer, ce serait idiot de dépenser d'un coup un abonnement annuel, avec ou sans remise.

Et le fait que vous ayez supprimé les abonnements mensuels laisse accroire que c'est parce que vos abonnés fuyaient.

Vous auriez donc intérêt à les retenir ("prisonniers") le plus longtemps possible.

De plus, rien qu'en essayant de créer un compte gratuit et de m'y connecter, j'ai constaté en une heure plus d'une douzaine de bugs (techniques, éditoriaux - sous-titrages, etc.).

Enfin, le temps que vous mettez pour répondre par mail (plusieurs jours) et le fait que vous soyez injoignables par téléphone corroborent encore le fait que les salariés sont trop peu nombreux, tant au service commercial, que technique et artistique.

Je vous invite à rétablir ces abonnements mensuels et à fidéliser ces abonnés par une qualité sans cesse accrue de vos streamings plutôt que par la fatalité d'un cercle vicieux de la médiocrité.

Ou au moins un abonnement d'essai d'un mois.

Les gens qui demandent de les croire sur parole alors que les faits les trahissent sont encore moins dignes de confiance. Ne laissez pas supposer que c'est votre cas.

Mieux vaudrait que vous ayez moins de captations et documentaires de meilleure qualité que l'inverse.

Considero que es su mas grande error, tendrian un publico mucho mayor.

I have a recurrent problem with the picture becoming blurred when watching your programs.It happens frequently and regularly and prevents me from enjoying the performance. I do not have this problem with other streaming apps

Content excellent.
Transmission appalling with constant blurring of the images.
I do not have this problem with metopera.org or Berlin philharmonic app.
Shall not renew my subscription unless they sort it out

Le catalogue d’operas est vieillissant et assez limite. Je confirme ce que d’autres commentaires font remonter, les sous-titres qui sont troubles ou qu’en anglais. Meme chose pour moi, impossible sur ipad s’assister aux live . Globalement heureusement que je n’ai pris que 3 mois d’abonnement car je ne compte pas renouveller

No me permite suscribirme mensualmente en ningún navegador, lo cual es realmente molesto, porque la suscrición anual no la requiero

The Chromecast delivery is very poor: there are constant breaks for buffering. I have no problems with my other streaming services.

Buenas tardes. Cuando deseo acceder a videos de conciertos u óperas , me encuentro con que, una vez iniciadas, empiezo a tener problemas de reproducción y, al poco tiempo, aparece una marca de error con una numeración de seis dígitos. Desearía me indicaran cuál es la razón y procedieran a corregirlo. No tiene sentido ofrecer un servicio que luego no se puede prestar.

We have subscribed to Medici.tv for a number of years and very much enjoy the content. However over the past month or so have noticed significantly increased buffering and/or degradation in quality. It comes and goes during the same performance so will start off in full HD and then become virtually unwatchable before going back again.

On full fibre with 500mbps download. No problems with any other service. Perhaps Medici could comment.

I regularly cannot access any videos on this service. I regularly receive error messages on EVERY video I try to view. The company’s customer service department is useless.

Absolutely rubbish customer service. I signed up 3 days ago but in way can I sign up of my TV using Firestick. No response whatsoever from them

Frequent severe buffering issues render livestreams unwatchable as often as not. I'm confident of my own system on which I regularly watch / listen to streaming media from other sources with next to no glitches. (Ethernet connections throuhout.) Over the course of my Medici subscription I've upgraded to fibre broadband, which has not improved the Medici 'live' experience at all. Library performances go better, although the choice is somewhat limited. On present experience I'll not be renewing my subscription.

Je suis abonné depuis 2015 et globalement satisfait du contenu de ce site. Mais je déplore vraiment qu'en un an l'abonnement a augmenté de 30 % ! De 99,80 en janvier 2023, il passe à 129,00 en janvier 2024 ! Ce n'est pas ainsi que l'on fidélise sa clientèle. J'apprécierais que médici.tv me donne la vraie raison qui justifie une telle augmentation. J'hésite à me réabonner pour 2024. Merci pour votre réponse.
