Recently underwent a hair transplant using MedAway. Nothing to fault at all! A very nervous thing to be going through when it’s so important to you, but
Stefa and the staff were all so easy to talk to, made me and my partner feel so welcome, absolutely no stress for the entire journey or treatment. Everyone was on hand when needed. 5* from me. Highly recommended!

In Aug I flew to Medway for breast reduction surgery. The communication from day one was amazing. The surgery, recovery and aftercare was great. And my results are amazing. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

The whole process leading up to the procedure was very easy. All I had to do was book my flights and everything else from transport, hotel, meals etc was sorted out for me. They even sent me a video of someone at the airport walking to where I needed to go to get picked up

I was keen to do LASIK eye surgery so bumped onto medway online. Based in Istanbul Turkey. UK prices are 3 or 4 times more.

Got a quote for $1500 and paid $600 deposit to secure a discount price. Accommodation and transfer included.

There was miscommunication on my arrival. My taxi pickup was nowhere to be seen with a sign. Came out of the airport and no one waiting. It was difficult to get back inside the airport. I didn't have roaming so I was stranded. Only place to buy a sim was inside the airport. Language barrier is massive. Managed to go back to airport, had to withdraw via atm to purchase a sim card for $50.

Managed to get intouch with the organisers and they directed me towards a tiny makeshift stand by the road for my transfer. 45mins drive. Got dropped off on the side of the hotel at 11am seemed like everything was closed. Called organisers with no responses. Managed to find the entrance and eventually check in. Hotel was different from the initial one before my trip. Confusion, lost in different country arriving at midnight with no one waiting is an adventure in itself.

My booking was for 5 days. First 2 days my appointment was postponed. Breakfast is included in the hotel. There are nearby shops.

Eventually went for my appointment on day 3. "Equipment was broken" really?!
Sefa was my translator. Awesome guy! English is good! Answered my questions, helped me fill in forms. He took care of me.

Some eye tests were done and I was recommended another procedure to enhance my cornea. Price changed beyond my budget and what I was prepared for. There was some discount and did the procedure.

Sefa had to go to another client. I got a different interpreter. The doctors will wear their heart on their sleeves for the patient and will advise accordingly. I'm very sensitive when it comes to my eyes and it was abit uncomfortable with clamps on the eyelids starring at a red/green light and cold eyedrops being dropped without any warning. I tried to relax. Sometimes my eyes moved but was asked to stare at the light. 20 to 30mins each eye.

Concluded the procedure. Was given alien looking plastic screens to protect my eyes and asked to protect my eyes from light. Was recommend 2 sets of eyedrops one for 2 hours. One for 4 hours for antibiotics to prevent infections. Bought it for $50 no reciept. Online price is $7 couldn't wait to get back and just have a rest.

Went for check up day 4. Driver was on time Sefa was there as well. Cool guys!

People were generally nice and friendly. It's busy at the private hospital. It's modern. Lots of consent forms to fill in. The doctors will advise accordingly but expect prices to change.
Plenty of choices for hotel buffet. Plus fresh omelette. Hotel reception are helpful and friendly. English is good. Language barrier is massive in public.

Was recommended to go back after 5 months, With a discount. The cost of two trips and 2 procedure is same as price for one in UK so not sure if my initial intention for saving half the price feom UK is worth it. It's not half anymore 😁 might decide to keep my glasses and go for another different medical procedure.
You go once. You will go again. I get the feeling 2 or 3 more times even if it's not for same medical procedure.

Because schedule changed I was hoping for sightseeing day 3 and 4 but had to cancel with no refund. Maybe next time.

Recently used MedAway to have a gastric sleeve done. I was extremely happy with the treatment and help I received and the care given. The hospital I was taken too was extremely professional and very caring. The surgeon who worked on me was amazing and I literally had zero pain. I couldn’t be happier and if I was to ever have anything else I would always go back to MedAway again for there help

I had a nose job with Medway in turkey in Instanbul amazing services, transfers included. After care is amazing fantastic company would highly recommend really friendly. They have a nurse at the hotel after hospital. Decent price and such kind people would go with them again!!

From the very first minute I contacted Medaway, their explanation of costs and processes was quick and accurate. Everything they promised was 100%
When we arrived at Istanbul Airport we were waiting a little while for our transport. No fault can be given to Medaway for this. However, the driver gave us bottles of water😁.
The hotel that Medaway put us in was the Deneman Hotel and it was clean and comfortable without being exceptional but we got what we were promised.
On to the day of my procedure and I was informed of my collection time and was collected and took to the clinic on time. Surgery took over 7 hours but that included a break between extraction and transplant. Food and drink was provided for this break.
The surgery itself was as expected and im delighted with the result. Time will tell how successful the procedure will be.
Aftercare so far has been great. I was picked up and took to the clinic where the doctor took my bandages off and cleaned my head. Adice on personal aftercare was also provided. I am in no discomfort whatsoever. Pain meds and antibiotics have been provided.
I cant say how pleased I am with Medaway and every one of their staff members. They have been different class from start to finish.
If I ever need a procedure in the future I won't look anywhere else. 10/10❤️

I had a breast reduction and my doctor was Dr Zafer. The nurses at the hospital, the coordinators and the Dr were all fabulous. I felt well cared for and my surgery went really well. I was recommended here by a friend and I personally had a good experience.

Since having my surgery 8 weeks ago I feel incredible. The surgery aftercare has been fantastic. Dr zafer kaya has been supportive with checking in and reviewing scaring and treatment plans. I am healing exceptionally well and have had no complications.

I had looked around for a while on what I thought was best for me. From the very start, the communication was amazing, everything was explained to me in detail, they answered any questions I had and were very considerate. On arrival my sister and I were greeted at the airport and taking to the hospital, all the staff were very welcoming and the service provided was 100%. Operation and recovery went amazing and I’m extremely happy with the outcome! Would definitely recommend and have recommend to others who are considering surgery. Even when back home, the aftercare has been really good, dealing with my anxieties and answering any questions I had. Thank you a million!

My experience was excellent! They have taken care of me , the hospital was clean and luxurious and same as the hotel ! If I ever would have to choose surgery I would go for them again! The surgeon, the nurses , the driver , the communication hosts and WhatsApp group were perfect and very supportive at all times !

Overall amazing experience with Medaway for nose rhinoplasty. no doubt i was nervous, however put at ease by the staff. Everything was very organised including transport, hotel and also hospital. Staff were kind and helpful. Dr Akin conducted my nose rhinoplasty, and I love my new nose!! Thank you everyone at medaway, for a lovely experience.

Absolutely appalling.
Once they have your money, any care goes out the window.

My breast became infected, I told them it was leaking and they responded 2 days later asking if I wanted them to speak with the doctor. The infection got worse and I had to have the implant removed in the uk.

They offered to get the implant removed and a new one fitted 2 months later but wanted to charge me everything other than for the doctor’s time.

I now have to pay for a new implant again, no compensation given, they just told me I knew the risks!

They have informed me that I will need to pay for the operating theatre and medication, so what they said in their response is nor correct.

They have also said that they responded straight away when I contacted them, again, this isn't correct and I have written evidence of this as I kept each message. I understand that there can be complications in but waiting days for a response is not acceptable

Read a few bad reviews about the hospital and surgeons but when i got there it was not bad, so i don't know why people are leaving bad reviews also if you do not follow surgeons instructions you may occur problems.
I had a swift operation no complications although this is also a possibility i am 4 weeks after op and i am recovering quite quickly, first few days of op was painful but it started easing off. I can walk, drive after 2 weeks op but the sleeping in L shape I don't like but i have to, Dr Selami was brilliant but please take extra money with you as anything can happen as my op was delayed due to other health checks that were nessercary and flights got cancelled was not fit to fly etc. Overall brilliant experience Tummytuck liposuction is a scary op i did not look much into it as it would put me off i do get a bit of back pain due to walking a bit crouched over other than that my scar has turned darker showing signs of healing. I did go to Doctors in UK as i needed pain killers but before they gave me them they said they wanted to check my tummytuck which was a bit strange just incase there was a infection infact they was surprised and said it was a clean job done and no signs of infection! So this just goes to show not that i got a second opinion i just needed pain killers and doctors in UK were eager to check my tummytuck. I think NHS should give UK citizens an option for tummytuck procesure on NHS or even a budgeted value for surgery! Medaway is great if i was you book in with Dr Selami, all transportations were on point excellent! Seroma can occur with anyone that's not surgeons fault and you must have lymphatic massages!

Also have been having lymphatic massages by a qualified UK nurse and even she said wow your surgeon did a brilliant job, she said she's had women in who have had tummytucks done in the UK and clients have faced issues and not proper surgery done!

When I went to MediWay, it was one of the most distressing experiences of my life.

The night staff repeatedly ignored me, and I was left for hours without basic care no water, no pain relief, no check-ins. I had to beg multiple times just to be seen or spoken to. And even then, the answer was often: “We can’t help.”

As a public figure, I tend to remain calm and composed in most situations. But it was only when one nurse found out who I was that she began treating me with decency —and even then, I had to offer her a free service from my own business in exchange for basic compassion and help with pain management. I was that desperate.

I could barely walk after surgery, and yet the staff failed to bring water, clear food trays, or check on patients who clearly couldn’t move on their own.

What shocked me most: the nurses laughed loudly at 3am every night, waking up vulnerable women recovering from invasive procedures. This was not a one-off it was nightly, and deeply unsettling. If this happened in the UK, I’m certain it would be grounds for legal action.

The clinic may look polished online, but the care is not there. The energy is careless, transactional, and unsafe for anyone who values dignity or emotional support after surgery.

Please do not go.
There are better, safer, more respectful options especially if you’re travelling from abroad.

I just came back from Istanbul I was using Medaway team for my breast reduction journey, honestly I'm so happy with the results I got , the conversation over WhatsApp and consultation with my surgeon went spot on . Never had a problem with them

My surgeon was amazing , can’t fault him at all. Wasn’t happy with the aftercare , the pain relief was not strong at all. I have had surgery before in other countries before (Thailand) and was given strong pain killers like morphine but not at this place, the nurses didn’t even flush the IVF out. I also wasn’t happy with the change of hospital when I arrived. I did research and made my decision on the hospital told, but when I arrived and it was completely different. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience like previous surgeries and for that reason I wouldn’t use them again.

Beyond traumatic experience i still suffer the flashbacks now the pain i endured the needles going all over in my head to numb my head all of that pain only for them to put barely any implants in my hair i explained and explained what i need where i dont have hair they gave me no aftercare their behaviour was disgusting with me & now after a year on my hair is not a single strand more its exactly how it was if not worse than before they literally waited for me to get back to UK so they can abandon me later and told me to wait a year for the results knowing full well after a year me arguing it would be harder as the time has gone past i have video's i had FUE i paid all that money i went to turkey paid my flights went through the worst pain i could ever go through and still nothing came of it and still everywhere they injected me is painful and i have ended up with nerve damage please please please i beg you avoid this place!!!
