My experience at Medaway.

As a girl from the age of 14 who has wanted a new nose, I can not thank Medaway enough for giving me the nose I always wanted.

I did lots of research into going abroad for a rhinoplasty as I was worried about this, such as the language barrier, the treatment and the aftercare.
However, after many years of research, i believe Medaway was the right company for me.

I was proven right the second I landed in Turkey. I was made welcome in the vip transport, making it easy when landing at the airport.
Once arriving I was made welcome with a clear picture of how my rhinoplasty treatment would take place.

I was looked after very well in the hospital, lots of documents to read and sign to ensure I understood what I was agreeing too. (This was important to me).

The morning of surgery, my surgeon came and did a consultation with me which made me feel comfortable before going down to have my surgery.
When going down to theatre, the staff were all communicating with me making me feel comfortable, they were distracting me with questions when being put under. (Something that helps the anxiety).

The after care was absolutely fantastic, I was checked on, given advice to help swelling such as pineapple juice and ice. They made me feel comfortable and answered any questions I had during the healing process.
When moving to the hotel. I still had contact with the nurses who came out to see me each day, giving me medication, gauze and extra bits.

When I came home back to the UK, I still had regular contact from Medaway to check in with me, even 6 months later! This is wonderful and very reassuring.

Well how and where do I start.

Im 8 days in and so far I'm happy with the results (ish). My surgeon was amazing and couldn't fault him but outside of that there are problems.

I had 360 Liposuction plus chest (man)

So on the day of the surgery my surgeon come in to speak to me and had no idea my chest was included, however he did say he could include this and not do my upper back, i showed him messages and he said he would include the chest if he didnt do the upper back, i said I wanted all. After this I did question the price with Medaway however they said all 360 and chest was done. This wasn't true there were no marks, bruises, pain or fat reduction in the upper back. I was told my the coordinator that 360 is upper back, lower back,sides and stomache. So the extra £500 i paid was for nothing and I will be looking to get a surgeon back in the UK to finish the process.

I also paid £200 for lymphatic drainage, this did happen however it was a nightmare with people arriving gone 10pm and me struggling to get answers from anyone.

Also I returned to the UK with Lymphatic drainage issues which I needed to get surgical help for. I don't know if this was me or them though.

Another issue I had was the package only included breakfast in the hotel. The rest was on me.

1 more issue, the compression garments are causing a deep ridge in my fat down the centre of my stomach which a local Lymphatic massage person has said will probably always show

Truthfully I think my surgeon did a great job but from what I can see so far (even though bits were missing, plus the fact I was over charged with very little communication about it and the fact the communication was awful I wouldn't recommend using Medaway. I was lucky with my surgeon but very unlucky with the rest

I’ve been with Medaway 3 times now and my husband has been once they are really helpful and professional . We always stayed in lovely hotels and all the staff are polite and make you feel at home I would highly recommend to anyone looking into travelling to turkey for cosmetic surgeries to use these! Even when home in the uk and I have needed advice they have been easily and quickly able to contact …thank you to everyone for always looking after me ! And I’ll be back again soon

After researching the company and reading the reviews I travelled to this clinic in Turkey for an upper arm lift procedure. The whole package included transport in private car from airport to hospital, then onto hotel and back again. The stay in hospital (along with my husband as companion), surgery and post op care, followed by recovery in a great hotel. From initial contact along with a verbal chat with the surgeon over the phone to 2 weeks post op where Ruveyda (patient Coordinator) contacts me for a follow up and check that I'm okay and if I have any concerns at all, the whole experience was flawless. My surgeon Dr Taygun was exceptional, he was methodical, professional and has given me results I could of only dreamed of for years....I cant thank him enough... but all the nurses, Ruveyda, and hotel staff were excellent.. if there was a language barrier they were great at "google translator" I would highly recommend and wont hesitate to return

I was extremely nervous about my procedure before coming to Istanbul, but after arriving at the clinic in Istanbul I have never been more calm. All the staff were lovely, from the transfer driver, cleaners to nurses, and especially the patient coordinators. Everything was explained to me perfectly. My surgeon was Dr Zafer, who was so thorough and I couldnt be happier with the results. I am so glad i came and my life has been changed after being so unhappy with my body for so long. The hotel after leaving the hospital wan 5 star and really helped my recovery. The price I was quoted in the uk is the price I paid here- no hidden charges! Highly recommended! If i need anything else done in the future I would definitely return here!

Very good company me and my partner had our teeth done. Very professional and we were well looked after.

There were some hiccups with the transportation but apart from that everything was good and I would recommend it.

I returned to Medaway for revision surgery and everything went the way I expected it to!

I am very happy with everything that they did for me.

My surgeon- Dr Taygun is an amazing surgeon and person!

If I ever want to have another intervention I will definitely return to Medaway.

To everyone who is considering to have a tommy tuck and liposuction. I highly recommend Dr Mustafa Taygun . He is one off the best! Honestly you will thank me later. Even after surgery and back home, he always answers my questions and so quickly! Highly recommend !

This was my fifth time using Medaway (gastric sleeve and then subsequent plastic surgeries after weight loss inc tummy tuck & lipo, arm lift, eye lift & face lift). From booking through to travelling and transportation, pre-checks, surgery and then after-care, always a good experience. I made a specific request for an additional nights stay in the hotel and also that my travelling companion would stay in the hotel rather than in the hospital room with me and this was accommodated. Nurses are always lovely and for any language issues there is always Google translate. The hotel was a good standard. Special mention to the coordinator Faiza who answered all of my questions and put me at ease. Dr Taygun was my surgeon and he is brilliant. The transport staff were also really good in getting me from the hospital to/from the hotel and to/from the airport. I stupidly left my mobile phone in the car, and the hotel reception called Medaway and the driver returned within 15 minutes with my phone🙏 Booked an extra hotel night so that my companion and I could see more of the lovely city of Istanbul. Highly recommend Medaway.

My name is Susan and I have came from Scotland as a chaperone with my friend Linda. She has had a Mummy make over . From the beginning arriving at the airport meeting the transfer to the hospital , everyone has been so lovely and helpful .

Our room in the hospital was so nice and very clean . Spotless . The nurses and assistants made us feel so welcome and assisted Linda with her pre op testing .

In the morning Linda was very nervous
She met her surgeon Dr Feryal for the first time. Who really helped ease her nerves .
Linda was in theatre for 7 hours .

It was a very positive experience and has made me think about maybe having more surgery myself . We went to the hotel after 2 days . The hotel is beautiful . And Linda has had some massages to assist with healing.

Overall, the experience has been so positive and can't wait to see the finished result . Linda keeps crying about how much of a difference in her body now . We are both very happy . Also, special mention to the hospital translators who helped make this experience a good one keeping us informed and updated with everything. They have been amazing .

From start to finish, the Medaway hair transplant team have been there to my every need. They made me feel the most comfortable not anxious at all. Explained everything to me. Very detailed run through of the procedure with my surgeon and during the procedure the team were there for me.
Very friendly people and very caring.
Couldn’t recommend this service enough to be honest and the post surgery advice has been top as well. They have asked me for updates every other day just to keep and eye out for me.

In terms of pain, the procedure itself was pain FREE! the only painful thing about it was getting the numbing injections. But after that it’s all smooth sailing - so smooth I actually fell asleep.

From start to finish medaway have been absolutely amazing ! I flew to Istanbul for a breast augmentation + lift on Boxing Day. Before I had even left the country I had been added to a group chat with my transfers and aftercare team/coordinators, where information and instructions were given to me about where I needed to meet transfers and about what information I needed to provide. Everyone was so polite and friendly and all the team’s English was perfect !

When I landed in Istanbul we found our transfers and were taken to the Orion surgery centre which was very clean and a very smart looking hospital. We were taken to our room instantly. Within 10 minutes of arriving a nurse came to the room and proceeded to take bloods, gave me all the relevant paperwork to sign and ordered myself and my mum some food as I was due to be nill by mouth soon after that. The nurse didn’t speak much English but it wasn’t an issue as Google translate could be quite easily used and was a very smooth process.

The next morning I was given compression socks, a gown, slippers etc. to change into and a few hours after that my surgeon Dr. Feryal came in to do my mark ups and discussed my different options for implants etc.

I cannot recommend Dr. Feryal enough ! What a lovely surgeon ! She was so kind to me and was so thorough. She explained everything that would go wrong and didn’t sugarcoat. She was straight to the point and was very professional.

Within around 20/30 minutes there was a nurse to take me down to theatre. When I woke up everyone was amazing. If I needed anything they were there instantly ! If you need anything at all it’s dealt with straight away ! The nurses are on it with pain meds, fluids etc. The whole time we were at the hospital, anything I asked for was brought to me within minutes ( like water, food etc.) the staff were fantastic ! I cannot fault any of them.

Everything with my surgery went well, my results are beautiful ! The scars you cannot even see ! I cannot be happier with how everything went. The hotel (delta by Marriott, kagithane) was beautiful ! Staff were amazing and transfers were prompt and arrived on time. There were no hidden costs or fees when I paid, the whole experience was amazing. I cannot recommend medaway enough ! If you are thinking about having a procedure done and you’re not sure because of mixed/bad reviews, honestly go for it ! It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.

If I could rate them - 100, I would. I went for VASER liposuction to remove a very small fat layer in my abdomen that I could not eliminate through exercise. I initially agreed to pay £2,100, but five minutes before the surgery, I was pressured into paying additional money in order to achieve “good results.” In total, they charged me approximately £3,000.

I was shocked after the surgery. I discovered that the female practitioner (F) who performed the procedure had injected additional fat into my abdomen. This resulted in more than 10 large scars in the middle of my stomach, which look awful. Before the surgery, I only had a small fat layer; now I have visible scars and more fat than before.

When I requested a revision, they rejected it.

Additionally, they charged me for an extra garment that I never received, nor did they refund me. After reading many reviews, I realized that they do not provide refunds once they receive payment.

Be careful, everyone.

I had surgery done in March by Mr Taygon Oluklu from MedAway in Turkey. I had problem with my breast all my life I was born with the left and right side not the same muscle missing and bone structure not the same . I had breast implants put in in the UK but after a year one started to drop quickly on the left side but the right side still sitting ok. This made me so paranoid about my body and hated it . I lacked confidence. Then a friend told me about MedAway and that she was so pleased with her surgery and she would recommend them to me. So I gave them a call and they got back to me straight away next minute I new I was on my way to Turkey with my daughter. My experience was amazing my surgeon was Mr Taygon Oluklu who went through everything he was going to do to correct my breast and get them looking as natural as possible . I had my right breast replaced with new implant and the left breast lifted and new implant. Mr Taygon Oluklu did such an amazing job I was so happy with them . My nipples were now in line and my breast are the same size and shape after 58 years. Its been 9 months since they were done and they are still perfect no drooping still keeping their shape scaring is doing well still using the gell recommend by Mr Taygon. I have had no problems with the surgery before and after. I am now confident person and that's all thanks to Mr Taygon Oluklu amazing surgeon. I have recommend him to all my friends who are looking to have surgery. I will definitely be going back to him when my implants need replacing. My whole experience with MedAway was amazing from start to finish. Thank you Mr Taygon Oluklu you changed my life for the better ❤️🙏🏻
