Delivered 3 days late and no apology or response to emails . Still waiting for a response despite me specifically asking for a reply.

Lamb was defrosted so had to use immediately and as it was late it was too late for my dinner event so ended up paying twice and then having excess .
Would not use them again.

Had a problem with the website contacted them via email and they resolved it

My meat delivery was on time, well packed, and the steaks look great (I've yet to taste them).

Couldn't be more delighted with the selection of meat we ordered. Great taste, quality and price.

I order a whole fillet , large sirloin, large rump and some burgers. First impressions really good. Fillet was large and all looking good. I trimmed the fillet to remove fat , sinews etc and that probably reduced the weight by 10-20% but my dogs loved their treat . I cooked a couple of fillets and was dissapointed by the lack of flavour even with plenty of seasoning. I have since cooked the sirloin (again loosing 30% after removing fat but I know some like the fat) but again I would say it lacked flavour and although cooked medium rare was a little tougher than I would expect. The burgers were very tasty. I have decided the remaining fillet and rump steak will be used in a casserole as not tasty enough in my opinion as steaks. In conclusion I won’t be buying again and will purchase steaks on special occasions from the local butcher as I believe you get what you pay for.

Great after two uses, even though you forgot my piri piri chicken both times

This was the toughest rib eye I've ever had. A case of marketing 1 : common sense 0. I have used Donald Russell for over ten years and regret this moment of madness.

Never delivered what I ordered I emailed them numerous times they did not really care then after messing me about for 3 days offered me a measly 10% off voucher meat never arrived.

You did not refund me tge next day at all that is totally untrue I waited in for 4 full days with lies about its out for delivery and then the next message was it os back at depot

I have read Meat & Co’s reply it is untrue it took me 5 mins to communicate with DHL but Meat & Co used the same excuse for 4 days “they were trying to communicate with DHL” Yet I managed to in 5 minutes I was not refunded until I demanded a refund and it Meat & Co never resolved why the parcel could not be delivered I have screenshots to back up my claim it is 100% correct.

Your customer service offer of 10% off an order after waiting in for 4 days of failed deliveries was as stated measly and poor the meat was disposed of by DHL

Sadly toughest and thinnest fillet i’ve ever had unlike the last one I purchased.

Great meat and great value too. Comes well ice packed on chosen day. Have made some amazing roasts and family dinners.

Hands down the worst quality “fillet” I have ever had. We ended up having to bin 1/3rd of it as it was full of fat and sinew.

Can only assume it came from Daisy the ten year old Diary cow.

Meat was really good, got the chicken, fillet steaks, cowboy steaks tomahawk steaks, at checkout the promotion for the free pork sizzlers wasn't applied properly by myself so I emailed straight away but was told they couldn't do anything but the promotion was still available for my next order, unfortunately that won't be happening- when spending close to £200 on my first trial order a goodwill gesture to apply the code in retrospect would -along with the quality of the products ensure a happy repeat purchasing customer but instead has unlike the delicious meat left a bitter taste in my mouth so will be looking to purchase elsewhere.

I have as yet to receive my order after a chaotic and very poor non-delivery by DHL who were unhelpful when I emailed them. Meat & Co were difficult to get hold of but eventually did get in touch after emails and phone messages from me and have now agreed to re-send the order. I wait with bated breath for a delivery next week. All in all, so far, a very unsatisfactory experience.

Easy to order and delivery on time and as expected, we ordered 2 large joints for a family party, whilst one weighed as expected the other weighed far less than what we purchased, we've had no response to our query regarding this and was disappointing as didn't have as much to offer our guests as we had hoped, the meat itself self was nice and of good quality but we won't be ordering again because of no response and lack of trust in weight of meat we purchased

All the meat I ordered was of poor quality

So much fat and sinew including the Fillet of Beef which is usually my favourite

I will not be ordering again from here

Did not get the email to claim free gift and spent £84 and still charged for postage. The 2fillets were great
