Very poor quality. Never try for your passport. Giving 10 attempts all are poor quality saying their machine too but you can’t get back your money stopping the process.

I attended the Northampton Tesco, Mereway branch of Max Spielmann on 16/08/26 & I was warmly greeted by the Branch Manager Sue.

Sue kindly supported me in purchasing 2 canvas prints of some cars that I required for some wall art & wow, did Sue deliver! Sue spent quite some time amending & perfecting my request & when she finalised & produced the finished product, I was absolutely made up!

Customer service is clearly really important to Sue & from my experience with her, it’s apparent that she puts the customer at the heart of everything she does Sue, it has been a real pleasure meeting & you are a true credit to the wider Max Speilmann team.

Thank you for making my canvass prints so totally amazing, I really appreciate what you have done for me & the effort you put into achieving the finished article!

In any case, I'll see you again, in store soon.

I want to share something truly heartfelt about Kelly at Max Spielmann shop in Norris Green. I’ve known her for a while, and I always remembered her as someone genuinely lovely — the kind of person who makes you feel seen. But yesterday, she reminded me just how special she really is.

I went in to buy some photo frames and finally print out my wedding pictures. I hadn’t been able to do it before because life has been heavy lately — my health, both physically and mentally, has taken a toll, and even small tasks have felt overwhelming. Walking into the shop, I was already carrying so much.

Kelly greeted me with the same warmth I remembered, but she went far beyond simple kindness. She was gentle, patient, and so understanding without me having to explain everything. She made me feel safe in a moment where I’ve been struggling to feel steady.

What touched me deeply was her generosity. She surprised me with a belated wedding present — something she didn’t have to do, something she chose to do simply out of kindness. And then she gave me a warm hug, the kind that feels grounding, comforting, and human. It meant more than she will ever know.

Kelly isn’t just good at her job. She is a genuinely compassionate person who brings light into people’s lives without even trying. I’m so grateful for her kindness, especially at a time when I needed it more than I realised.

Just had the most horrendous, appalling customer service from Max Spielmann. Ordered a photo crystal, and battery operated light stand as a gift. Whilst on holiday they rang to say it was ready. A week later we collected, only to be told they had been sent the wrong size stand;( which they would have had plenty of time to reorder before we drove to the store to collect). Couple of days later we went back to the shop to get the correct stand. The next day we tried the stand and it didn’t work with brand new Duracell plus batteries. So I rang the store and ask if they would kindly send out a new stand, as we can’t afford the car parking, petrol, and time, as it’s a long way to travel, and this would be our 3rd time to the store through no fault of our own. We do not go into our town centre, so this would be a special journey. The assistant said,” no it would not be possible to send out, I couldn’t speak to a manager, or someone in higher authority to escalate this issue, I was told I was being totally unreasonable in not willing to return to the store for the 3rd time, our financial losses was of no concern, very unnecessarily rude, curt, on many levels, refused to continue the conversation, then abruptly put the phone down. It is Max Spielmann’s responsibility to rectify any faulty goods, and not cause the customer anymore stress, inconvenience, and certainty not anymore financial loss. Max Spielmann you need to implement a customer complaints procedure from point of contact with your staff.

A few months back we visited the photo shop at Willowbrook Tesco and had a special gift to get completed for relative that weekend - Tori was amazing, so helpful & knowledgeable with what we needed to change to make everything fit into the frame. A big thank you and shout out to Tori for going above and beyond!

Shocking “24 hours a day” kiosks. Waited 30 mins for 30 photos to be “added to basket” after the first try timed out adding 50 photos before giving up

The most helpful and kind man works in Daventry Max Speilman he really is gold standard customer service! Knowledgeable and patient really THE BEST!

Tom at Max Spielmann in Chorlton, Manchester provided unbelievable customer service today. He was able help my partner print a large poster while converting it from a PDF to a JPG. This was all done while the shop was closing and carried on after closing time. Thank you Tom, You were very resourceful, helpful and kind

I attended Max Spielmann at Tesco in Yeovil. I was having trouble printing my photos from my phone so I asked the female attendant. She was curt, obviously not wanting to be bothered and was more concerned with her phone. She told me my photos weren’t in the right format without looking what the format was. I took them to Boots and they were printed with no trouble.

I needed to get new images for both a passport renewal and a driving licence. I was met very warmly by Joshua, who took my photos and then also helped with my Passport renewal, which was great as I didn’t know you could do this too. He was so helpful and friendly, despite being quite busy and the whole process was so straightforward - he’s a great representation for your business. Thank you Joshua, excellent Customer Service and with a smile too!

I would like to take the time to leave a review for Dave, who has gone absolutely above and beyond on two separate occasions.

I recently had to fly home from my holiday in Croatia because the DVLA had lost my application form. As an HGV driver, having my licence back when I return home is extremely important to me, so the situation was incredibly stressful.

From the moment I dealt with Dave, he was incredibly empathetic, understanding and genuinely determined to help. He went out of his way to get everything sorted for me as quickly as possible, and his attitude and approach made what was a very stressful situation so much easier.

What really surprised and blew me away was that when I had to return for a second visit, Dave helped me all over again — and this time he did it completely free of charge, simply because the DVLA don’t accept digital documents. He absolutely did not have to go to that level of effort, and I sincerely hope he doesn’t get into trouble for doing so, because I felt it was important to let you know just how fantastic he is.

Dave was equally brilliant during my first visit. He is full of life, incredibly personable, approachable and genuinely helpful. You can tell that he cares about the people he is dealing with rather than simply treating them as another customer.

People are often quick to complain when something goes wrong, so I wanted to make sure I took the time to say how much I appreciated Dave’s help. He is a credit to your organisation and a fantastic asset to any team.

Please pass on my thanks to him — he was absolutely amazing.

Fantastic visit to skelmersdale store. Carly the customer representative was brilliant. She was both professional and friendly. I had really old photos with some marks on them. I explained what I would like. Carly asked me to leave the photos and to come back in 20 minutes. True to her word when I came back the photos were ready. Fabulous. She had managed to erase the majority of the marks and to sharpen up the photos. Thank you Carly. You made mine and my brother's day. He was so happy.

Honestly, I think Max Spielmann is one of the best and easiest options for photo printing in the UK, especially in London!

The whole process was incredibly simple. I went onto their website, selected the photo size I wanted, edited the pictures accordingly, chose my nearest store for collection, and within just 20 minutes, my photos were ready! 🤯

I printed 41 photos in 6x4 size for around £29, which I honestly think is a very reasonable price and probably one of the cheapest options you can find in London.

The quality was also amazing — I was genuinely very happy with how the photos turned out. ❤️

What makes it even better is that many London stores have self-service printing machines. You simply go to the store after your order is ready, enter your surname and order number, and the machine starts printing your photos. It's super quick and convenient.

They also have physical stores where you can browse and buy photo albums and other accessories, which is a nice bonus if you're putting together a photo album.

If you have more time, you can also choose home delivery. But if you're in a hurry and need your photos quickly, the 20-minute collection option is brilliant.

Overall, I absolutely loved the service and would definitely recommend Max Spielmann to anyone looking for quick, affordable and good-quality photo printing in London. 📸❤️
