I was just learning to trade when I found Maverick. What I saw during the recruiting process stopped me in my tracks. I thought I could learn to trade just by watching a bunch of YouTube videos and I was so wrong. The team at Maverick has distilled their 20+ years of institutional experience and created a program that teaches you everything you need to know about trading professionally. On top of that they are giving you a good chunk of capital to trade from the get-go. I'm taking my wife on vacation for the first time in years with what I made trading last quarter. Hawaii here we come.

I was a trader on Wall Street for 12 years. If I had received the training, mentoring, and support at my old job that I do at Maverick, I wouldn't have left. This is how trading is supposed to be done.

This is a second career for me, so I really wanted someone to be able to guide me through the process. Pauline was great getting me settled in to the firm and Joe was always able to answer my questions and explain the concepts that I was having a hard time with. When you get approved to trade live, you feel this mix of accomplishment, responsibility, and nerves because you're going to be trading their capital. Straightforward process. Qualification program is linear with clearly defined milestones and expectations. Approval for Capital Sharing is as advertised. Getting more trading capital is just a matter of consistency. My recommendation is to find a way to make profit payouts same-day but getting them via direct deposit in two days is fine.

If you're going to trade, you need to trade with these guys. They are serious about making money but don't take themselves too seriously if that makes sense. I would be lost without the Sunday and Wednesday Trading Rooms and the daily recaps. They keep me anchored in to what's going on in the markets and let me catch shifts in strength and weakness.

I have found my forever home! I had traded on the side for years and enjoyed some success until I went off the rails in 2015 making directional bets in a market that went nowhere. I was in a downward spiral in my trading, emotionally, in my day job, and in my relationships. In desperation, I listened to the Trading Psychology video that Rob did. I swear it was like he was talking to me personally like he'd known me for 10 years. I sat in front of my computer for a half hour afterward until I swallowed my pride and applied to Maverick. Rob and Cory worked with me personally to get me back to live trading and are there to bring me back to reality when I get too cocky. I know now that's what I needed and really value the feedback. I wish I'd found Maverick Trading sooner. I spent over $20k learning to trade at another place and didn't get a fraction of the support I get now at Maverick. You're trading their capital, so they are extremely interested in having you trade the right way, meaning a step by step process and constantly managing the risk. I was a little bent out of shape when I wanted to try a new strategy and they made me show how I was going to manage the change in risk, but that process actually uncovered some holes in my strategy and they worked with me to fix my methods and actually decrease the risk I was taking.
