Trading curriculum was excellent. Knowledgeable instructors who are passionate about the subject matter was evident. Testing also appropriate for the material taught. Proper topics covered with easy to understand instruction of very complex subject matter. Mentors readily available for assistance.

I've just been approved to participate in Maverick's capital sharing program. It's taken me just over two months to get from the initial phone interview to the point I'm at right now.

Importantly, the people at Maverick are fantastic. Every person I've dealt with so far has been friendly and helpful. I'm really surprised by how accessible everyone is, including the senior traders. The company as a whole takes a highly collaborative approach towards trading, which creates a really positive dynamic.

For those new to trading, I can confirm Maverick's training material is thorough, well thought out and overall very well put together. I personally have experience trading, however was still able to take a lot away from the training course and have been able to improve upon my existing strategy as a result.

I am really very satisfied of the Maverick trading for their activities.
I wish more success of this organization.

I have been impressed with the company since I joined the options programme. I was already an experienced options trader but found the material on the course really good. The team are always there to help and will always give helpful ideas. Trading is not easy and they make that clear but if you want to give yourself the best chance of success I would recommend talking to Maverick

First of all, I have no complaints against Maverick. I completed their training program which is very comprehensive. Their instructional videos are great. I began live trading, did well for 1 month, then blew my account up in the next 2 months. I believe I was sizing my positions correctly and doing as I was instructed but things still went against me. At this point I don’t know if it’s a good idea to get back in or not. It’s been about 2 years and I’m still debating this. As I said, I have no complaints against Maverick. I gave a 3 star rating because of the risk involved.

I am a huge fan of Maverick, for a number of reasons:
1. I am coming to Maverick as a relative novice, but one who learns quickly. They have done a fabulous job of both supporting me and providing structure as I start to trade.
2. The people are absolutely amazing. Every single person I've talked to clearly loves to be here. Not only are they people who are good at trading, they are just good people.
3. The quality of the education and ongoing resources I've received is better than I've received anywhere else.
4. Their remote structure and incentive structure is by far the best of any prop trading firm I've seen. It's somewhat incredible to me that it exists in the way it does and I'm grateful I found and joined them.
5. They have been both very explicit and very fair about all fees charged.

Bottom line: I'm grateful I found and joined this firm and don't think anyone can do better.

I joined Maverick in August last year and while a I have a full-time job (sometimes long hours), it took me 4 months to complete all the training modules. The training program is very comprehensive, and I found all the information very helpful. I enjoyed learning and watching the videos which are very well explained (here a special award for Rob). When I needed help, they took time to answer all of my questions (Matt and Jade – for the first phase, Imre, Ankit, Corey and Joe – for the simulating and demo trading and trading platform setup). Now, I just started the live trading and I consider that Maverick is what I was looking for…. professional traders with a lot of knowledge, ready to share with all of us their view about the market every day (recorded videos at the end of the day) and a couple of times every week in live sessions with live setups (including every Sunday night when the new trading week starts). Plus, I like to say that, and I appreciate that very much… they are human being… not machines, not trading gurus.
Trading with Maverick I have access to Trader Workstation from Interactive Brokers which is, without doubts, a very powerful trading platform even though (I have to say) I personally don’t find it very friendly.
I read few reviews about Maverick being a scam because they took your money and give you back nothing. After 5 months with them, I strongly believe that it is not true. This is just a business.
If I will lose money it is just because of me.
There is an upfront fee of $3000 before you start the training program. Yes, it is a pretty big amount, but I think you start with the idea that you will make money from trading. After you will make $3000 profit for the firm (which means a total of $10000 profit), you will receive this money back as a reimbursement bonus.
After you are approved for the Capital Sharing Program there is a $2000 risk deposit. At this time Maverick will fund your live account with $4000 (for 2 consecutive profitable months) and then $10000.
If it is something I don’t like it is the monthly fee ($199/mo) which I consider that it is too much (at least now at the beginning when I don’t make too much money from trading).
Otherwise, the math is very simple for 2 extreme scenarios:
First scenario, the worst: If you lose the money no matter if it is on your own account or trading on Maverick account, the game is over.
Second scenario, the best: If you are a successful trader, you will make more money with Maverick Capital Sharing Program (even with that ugly monthly fee) than you will make on your own starting with $5000 (the money you have to pay from your pocket). Plus, you will get all the benefits mentioned above.
Overall so far, I received from Maverick all what I was told, I consider the business fair, so I firmly recommend Maverick for everybody who is looking to work with professional traders.

Maverick provides the structure and platform you need to trade at the professional level. It really does take time and dedication, and after you've invested yours you realize the amount that Maverick has done not only to help you, but hundreds of other traders. These are real people with real results, and I hope to stay a part of the community for a long time.

Very helpful and a great opportunity! Yeah $200 a month is steep especially someone living pay check to paycheck but with what you get in return with the videos of market updates and live sessions when big news events come out to help you in the market is all worth it to me. Along with all the videos to help, the coaches are just a email away if you have any questions or concerns. As a single dad with a little almost 2 year old running around the house and working full time on the graveyard shift, believe me when I say anyone can become a trader and make it through the program. You just have to have the will power and dedication for the possibility of a different lifestyle and financial freedom. I say possibility because the opportunity is there, you just have to keep your head straight on your goals and want it. I just got approved for the capital program and I cant wait to start trading and watch all my hard work pay off. I still remember when I got a call from the recruiter back in July. I was doubtful at first but now looking back, I'm glad I made the decision.

I am new to Maverick Trading, I joined September 6th, 2019 after talking with Matthew Stephenson, right after the first phone call I knew this was the place for me, Matthew and I talked over the phone several times, and I eventually went to meet with them.

I was blown away at the level of knowledge they have. I have taken all the training mudules and Matthew assisted me when I had questions or needed some guidence. I really enjoyed the entire process and learned a ton along the way. Afer completing all the requirements I was up and running just 38 days after joining with my own live account trading Maverick capital.

I also enjoy the daily recap videos and live trading sessions Maverick provides.

I recently completed the Maverick training program to qualify for their Capital Sharing. It was a rigorous program that required hard work and determination. Many of the traders at Maverick were generous enough to offer their advice when ever I had a question. I look forward to growing with Maverick. I spent many years seeking the proper training and help and you wont find many places that offer a capital sharing program as well. Maverick is willing to invest in traders who are willing to invest in themselves.

You need to pass all the online courses and tests, practice on the simulator and develop your own trading plan. Personally, I felt the information on setups was very basic - bull and bear reversals, etc. I feel that a trader needs a bigger edge than some of these setups and it is up to the trader to develop their own trading style based on their personality. It takes a lot of hard work on your own and Maverick will not be there to hold your hand. Maverick is always there to help in any way possible but a lot has to be done on your own. If I had any questions, Ankit or others were always very responsive. I thought the training could include a little more detail on support and resistance as well as a little more on psychology. I really enjoyed how Robb explained what to expect in 10 trades which is important to make sure you have the right.

Their curriculum is really structured and well thought out. It was very easy to follow Maverick's step by step process, especially when learning such a complex instrument as options.

Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with Maverick Trading during orientation and throughout the training program. Both Jade and Jeff were very informative and helpful during the initial stages of the on-boarding process. I collaborated and interacted with Robb, Joe and Vincent as part of Maverick's coaching and mentoring program; each of these individuals are experienced and intelligent. Their expertise and assistance simplified the process of developing a trading plan. I look forward to an exciting and lucrative future with Maverick. Keep up the good work Maverick Trading.

it's about the people, after all a business is just paper unless there are people working it to make it special. Maverick is just that . the people there from the top down work hard to make you feel you belong and can succeed at doing this. their training is good and personal coaching is just a phone call away even the top dog will answer questions- even dumb ones.

From the very beginning, starting with Matt, Jade, and Imre I felt like I was being included in not just a massive community of traders, but more like a family of practitioners - all intent on making each other successful.
I'll admit, I was skeptical about a training curriculum that I viewed as being entirely video-based, but quickly found that my assigned support team, combined with the incredibly informative training materials turned self-doubt into confidence as I approached live trading.
Maverick's approach is very deliberate, methodical and backed by empirical data and statistics - which is no doubt the reason the firm has been so successful, for so long. As if I wasn't already impressed enough by the support from the aforementioned team when I began communicating with my permanent coach, Corey, I was blown away. There is serious talent within the firm, and the best part is that it is there to help all Maverick traders achieve their goals. Corey, Robb and Joe are incredible teachers, which when combined with the firm's seemingly endless knowledge of Forex Trading, helps me truly understand what I need to be focused on, and how I can constantly improve my own trading procedures and setups.

After you complete all the courses and download IB, you are ready to start the demo process for 2 months to show you can be a consistent/profitable trader. This is the true test to see how your trading will go. You will make mistakes because trading is not easy but you have to learn from your mistakes and keep getting better. This process could take longer for some people, it just depends on the individual. 2 months is the minimum amount of time they require to move on to trading real money.

I had experience going into this process and I have never tried another prop firm. I can't speak about other firms and the training compared to others but everything up to this point has been exactly how they have presented it to me. I hope everything moving forward goes smooth.

I'm currently in training with Maverick Options division (they have options, forex & futures divisions).

I've been studying the markets since 2010. I've gone through other "systems" that just simply didn't work.

Maverick's system of trading makes sense. They constantly are saying, "this isn't a science", but their thorough system makes it seem like they have it broken down like a science.

Market Analysis:
It's 3 guys that give a breakdown of the markets after every day (Robb, Corey, and Joe) -they alternate day by day. I honestly can't imagine a clearer breakdown of the markets, with their knowledge in technicals, economic reports, futures, keeping up with the news, including knowing what's going on with company news, etc.

Their system:
Considering what type of market we're currently in, Maverick makes sure you develop a trading plan that ensures a portfolio structure that will have you strive in that market. The training process ensures you know exactly how much to allocate per trade (position sizing) based on your Win/Loss percentage, while considering how much damage your account could withstand in worst case scenarios.

Option Strategies:
Maverick teaches you what type of option strategy to use based on the charts, relying mainly on price movement & volume (and using some secondary indicators). Not only what strategy, but also which option expirations to be using too, including which strike prices to use, considering the option greeks.

Scam?
There are some reviews online that say the company is a scam. I think the reason they say it's a scam is because they don't understand this is a part time/full time career. It's going to take time & effort to understand the system and to practice it. Accept it -it'll be worth it...Another reason you may think/hear it's a scam is because of the initial $ you have to put up. It makes sense though why you need to do this. You trade with an expected possible drawdown of 20% of the account. This is what you put into your account & this is the amount that you have at risk. The company (along with all the training & coaching) provides you with additional capital to trade with. It makes sense that you put at risk your own money. Think about it. How's that a scam? lol. Like I said before, they teach you what your position sizing should be, which considers for any worst case scenarios.

Overall, this is a great company. I'll be surprised to hear about a more thorough system with a community of traders that know how to analyze the markets better than Maverick.
