Very Disappointing & Unfair Review Process
I had a very disappointing experience with Maven Trading.
I purchased a $5,000 challenge account, successfully passed Phase 1, then passed Phase 2 as well, strictly following all the rules. After completing both phases, when it was time to receive my funded account, Maven failed me during the so-called “review”.
The shocking part is that they claimed I made a mistake in Phase 1, even though Phase 1 was already approved and passed by them earlier. If there was any issue in Phase 1, why was I allowed to move forward, pass Phase 2, and only then get rejected?
Instead of issuing the funded account, they reset my account back to Phase 1, which feels extremely unfair and unprofessional. This gives the impression that they use vague “review” reasons to avoid giving funded accounts after traders complete all requirements.
I would advise traders to be very careful before investing their money here. Passing challenges does not guarantee fairness at the final stage.

I wanted to write this review to thank the Maven team for giving me a second chance. I had made an unintentional mistake once before, but because they gave me a second chance, my account became active again. However, this time I was careless and negligent.

I just received my first payout from Maven Trading Prop Firm, and I couldn’t be happier! The withdrawal was processed quickly, and the funds arrived in my account without any hassle. The platform is smooth and easy to use, and the support team is professional and responsive whenever I had a question. Trading with Maven feels safe and reliable, and I finally feel like I’m working with a prop firm that delivers on its promises. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy trading partner!

Two problems from my experience. #1 is their ruling is arbitrary and easily misinterpreted, and #2 their ruling can be changed during a challenge and applied backward at review. I passed my challenges and this is what happened. Here was my situation: I “lost” to the “All in” rule. “Risk” is not defined as “Stop Loss” in the “All in” ruling, and when I took the challenge it had not had a “4% maximum ‘risk’” rule. They immediately denied my appeal three times but in “goodwill” offered me a free retry on the account. It’s like offering free Monopoly money for arbitrary misleading and malpractice. It’s unfair, unethical, and if this is how they treat their customers, I would not be a customer moving forward

I gave them 5 stars because I had 3 payouts with them and all came exceptionally fast and so did my refund on the last payout but also I love the swap free environment and crypto payouts thanks

This firm running totally scam when you completed both phase they cheating with you. I completed both phase 1 and 2 and I verified my account they call me I am fake person. I ask to chat what is the problem they call start again the challenge. Don't invest your hard earn money in cheap prop firm. I made a mistake you don't .

The worst prop firm I had ever seen ....
I had a KYC-related issue with Maven Trading and contacted their support team for help. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
The team clearly told me that they cannot help me in any way, saying ..we won’t be able to help you.. without providing any proper explanation or alternative solution.
On top of that, their email response time is extremely slow sometimes it takes 2–3 days just to get a reply. There is no real support, no effort to resolve the issue, and no accountability.
I expected much better customer service from a trading firm. Overall, a very poor support experience.

I have been a consistent advocate for Maven, However, my recent experience has shown a complete lack of support for disciplined traders when the platform's execution fails.
I manage risk strictly and have never crossed a 1% risk threshold in my history with them. On my latest trade (XAUUSD, Ticket #14779374), I had a hard Stop Loss (SL) set at 4820.26 to cap my risk at $900.
Despite my proactive risk management, the platform failed to honor the stop and filled the trade at 4818.16. This $168 slippage gap resulted in a $1,068 loss, triggering an automated account termination for crossing 1% loss per trade.
When I provided the clear technical logs showing that I followed every rule and that the "breach" was a result of market execution variance beyond my control, I was met with a generic "a breach is a breach" response.

A few points for potential traders:

• The SL is not guaranteed: Even if you set a hard stop to protect your account, Maven may not honor it and will terminate you for the difference.
- They offer no manual review for technical discrepancies.
• Risk Management is Punished: You can be 100% disciplined and still lose your account due to their liquidity provider's slippage.
- Their spreads are one of the worst (50 to 70)

I am deeply disappointed. I expected a firm that prides itself on "finding talent" to recognize a disciplined trader and a technical error. Instead, they chose to hide behind an automated script.

I am humiliated.

I failed kyc because a boy came behind while clicking a verification photo and when I requested to maven support then they didn't contact me

For the first challenge, the available platform allowed me to trade easily. I failed I but I learned. For the second challenge, I was not able to chose the same platform so I had to chose another one. The app freezes, doesn't allow to change the range, but most importantly, the position doesn't trigger when the sell price goes way above the TP.

Maven is great. Their services are top-notch and withdrawal request comes in on time.

Worst ever spread experience with maven trading. You will set 48usd SL , when order executed it will be 55usd and when SL got hit will be 60usd.
It is frustrating.

Never trust Maven Trading Prop Firm. I’ve been trading for two years, and for about a year and a half, I’ve been working with Maven Trading. I’ve faced a lot of losses, had accounts blocked, and also passed the evaluations multiple times. Now I’ve become more consistent and am a much better trader. However, when I passed the $10k evaluation, they claimed I violated the rules and offered me a retry. I accepted the retry. I passed the evaluation again keeping the rules in mind. and then they accused me of copy trading. and not giving me my funded Account,They didn’t look at my previous history, they didn’t check my past accounts that I had passed or lost, and in this account, they placed a violation for copy trading. I feel like I’ve wasted hundreds of dollars and a lot of time, and yet I haven’t received any positive response. I am not a copy trader; I’ve struggled for two years and have now become stable. Alhamdulillah, I know that if I can pass, I can grow but I will never work with Maven again.

Maven was one of my favorite prop firms initially, but after this experience, it has become one of the worst I’ve dealt with.

The spreads on XAUUSD are extremely bad and unpredictable. A sudden spread hike caused an instant floating equity breach under their strict 1% equity-based risk rule — despite using disciplined risk management, small lot size, and a clearly defined stop-loss. There was no reckless trading involved.

What makes this unacceptable is that the breach was caused purely by execution conditions, not by price movement. The spread itself widened enough to destroy equity instantly. This means traders can lose accounts without the market even moving against them.

Support openly acknowledged that spread and slippage are part of the issue, yet completely refused accountability. The response was essentially “give room for spread,” even though the spread is generated inside their own trading environment and directly triggers their equity rules.

This rule structure punishes traders for execution mechanics, not for bad trading decisions. Skilled traders who follow strict risk management are still exposed to instant failure due to spread spikes they cannot control.

For serious traders, this is a waste of time, wasted effort, and wasted trading skill. The combination of poor spreads, rigid floating drawdown rules, and dismissive support makes this firm unsuitable for disciplined trading.

Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise traders to be very cautious before choosing Maven — especially if you trade gold (XAUUSD)

Worst prop firm ever. I passed the challenge and they reviewed and said i breached 4% profit rule and i need to pass it again. Today i passed it again and their automated system flagged that i copy trades on the account. I passed twice in 46 days and still copy trading??? Their support and their system
Is fraud. When i contacted support, instead of manually reviewing and resolving issue, they are not giving satisfactory answers. Very bad experience. Instead use some other authentic propfirm so that you people never got scammed
