A total disappointment, the dresses are cheap and flimsy China goods. Material is cheap, dont be fooled by the pics, they are nothing compared to the what you see in the photos. Not worth the price. Don't waste your money.

This company advertise they are based in London. They are NOT. The 1st i knew was after I ordered a dress,I got an email about a delay because of shipping. They are from China. My dress did arrive after 10 days,it fits well and it's nice material. I will never use them again though !

Not an independent boutique closing its doors in London like it claims to be. It’s a Chinese company shipping from China and the dresses are overpriced unbranded tat.
Shipping is not quick as it’s got to make it cross border. Final mile is Royal Mail but the label states return address of 4PX which is a well known enabler of drop shipping in China!

If I could give 0 Star, I would! This is a SCAM!

The website is selling under the guise of a London boutique fashion at higher price point currently having closing down sale 60-80%!
It has very good 5 star reviews on their website and offering easy returns, if need be. I fell for it because of the 422 good reviews and more so because it is London- based. Bought 5 dresses and paid £183.56 after massive discount.
I wished I came here first because after digging more and seen these trusted poor reviews here, I immediately called my credit company within 15-20 minutes to cancel/ reverse the payment. Unfortunately, payment had apparently went through and has to wait for the arrival of these dresses to be able to open a DISPUTE should the dresses are indeed below standards. I contacted Mary boutique but declined to cancel. 12 days later the dresses arrived and lo and behold, these are indeed BELOW STANDARD, poor quality made of cheap material/ fabric. They are NOT THE SAME QUALITY OF DRESSES ADVERTISED but are cheap copies, awful dresses I would never wear. These are Temu quality dresses you can get for £5 or £10, if that. They are not worth the money even after substantial discount. I had multiple correspondence with them asking for return for a full refund, sent photos as required ( they did reply) but I was only cheekily offered 10% refund and keep the dresses, otherwise I apparently have to return internationally to US or Poland at my cost which is high.
This international return policy was not there in the beginning, it was supposed to be easy, hassle free return according to “Mary”, but can’t even find that now. I insisted on UK return to SOUTHALL as that was on the Return address on the package but now I am ghosted!

Please save yourself from hassle, DO NOT BUY!
I am sure there are many others who have gone through this already. This is highly and professionally operated scam. Shameless and disgusting! I shall be contacting my credit company soon.

I paid £79.99 for a dress and when it arrived it was awful! The material is so bad and cheap not worth the money I paid.

Avoid at all costs. I am in the process of returning this item, to be fair their communication has been good they do get back to me but they are trying hard for me not to get the refund and to get store credit instead. I’m not sure weather to follow the return instructions and pay for the postage because reading all these comments I have a bad feeling I will not be getting my money back.

I ordered three dresses from what I thought was a London-based boutique “closing down” — Mary Boutique. What I received is a joke compared to what was ordered. Cheap materials, poor fit, and nothing like the product photos.

Turns out, this is a Chinese company pretending to be UK-based, hiding behind fake “London” branding and tons of clearly fake 5-star reviews.

I tried to cancel my order within 24 hours, but was told it had already been “processed.” It didn’t arrive until 15 days later, and after I asked to return it, they completely stopped replying.

Avoid this shop at all costs – is a scam. Total waste of money and time. Don’t fall for it like I did.

Don’t buy from here!!!id actually give no stars!!! I bought a dress for £24.95 and its original price was advertised as £99.95! No way was it the original as it struggles to qualify for the £24.95 price!! I’m in the middle of trying to get a refund but they are offering 10% and keep the dress! If I send it back it need to be sent to some black box in USA which is a charity thing so the dresses are cheap as if they can afford to do this and it is the seller who has to foot the postage!! Absolute scam and false advertising. I don’t know how people like these are aloud to do this.

Scam not a UK company still waiting on my dresses bought weeks ago, no tracking number says it s coming from China.

Absolutely horrendous experience.
The website claims to be based in London and offers Royal Mail Express delivery. However, my parcel didn’t arrive even after three weeks. I chased them multiple times, only to be told they didn’t have my full address—despite me providing it in full.

Neither Royal Mail Express nor this company notified me of any address issue. I ordered the item specifically for a holiday, and now, a month later, I’m on holiday without the dress. Even after resending my full address 10 days ago, the package still hasn’t arrived.

When I first inquired about the delay and was falsely told the address was missing, I requested a refund since it was too late to receive the item. They refused, claiming the parcel would be returned to their supplier—not the return address listed on their own form.

Now, after chasing again, I’ve been told the dress is being sent to their warehouse—yet another lie. So, no dress, no refund.

Avoid this company at all costs.
They are dishonest and unreliable.

Complete scam , clothing comes from china poor quality, telling customers there closing down , refunds forget goes back to china appraently at your expense , avoid at all costs this company as we have been ripped off and cant get any money back

Horrendous, website states they are in London offering royal mail express delivery!!!¡!

Took weeks yes weeks too arrive. According to their sizing a medium is a 12/14 but the dress says a 10. Way too small, doesn't come close to fitting.

Quality is good but incorrect sizing
Refunds accepted at my cost, back to CHINA!!!!!!!

Took a long time to arrive as this company is based in China, material was cheap and overall awful quality. i’ve emailed multiple times requesting a refund and have been ghosted… awful customer service! They’ve basically stolen my money. I’m furious.

SCAM AVOID! 5 star reviews are all made up. This is not UK Boutique it is from Hong Kong I am presuming. I am sure some of these items are on TEMU for £5! Trustpilot should be more accountable for scam reviews also!
Additional Information: Since first writing this review I have been in contact with 'Mary Boutique London' and they have indeed confirmed via email they are not based in London, in fact they have no base as they won't let me know where they are typing from, but that they are just online. They have offered me 15% off my next order, then 20% off and now up to 30% and I am now on email reply number 7. I have provided screenshots of their fake scam reviews, one of which says she visited the Boutique personally!. I have also asked continuously, and provided screenshots again, if they are falsely advertising pictures of an actual boutique and also items 'designed by Mary' none of these questions they will answer. Lastly I have contacted my credit card company and started a dispute of a scam because I don't care what awful products they send me this is legally or illegally fraud ie. intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right; an act of deceiving or misrepresenting. I am not going to let this drop until for once someone deceptive is held accountable!

The only 5* reviews on here are clearly SCAM . Males like 'Charlie' & 'Geoege' just confirm this company is a scam. I took it in face value it was a High End company closing down hence good quality with huge discounts. Utterly shameful. My order still hasn't arrived after 10 days. Don't waste your time or money.

I strongly advise others to avoid this company. They present themselves as a London-based boutique, but they are actually based in China, which only becomes clear after you place an order.

The item I received was of very poor quality — nothing like the images on their website. When I contacted them for a return, they made the process intentionally difficult. Despite multiple emails, I never received a clear return address or proper return instructions. Instead, they suggested I donate the item through a third-party "Give Back Box" program, which makes no sense for someone trying to get a refund.

They offered a small partial refund (10%) as a way to avoid accepting the return, which is unacceptable. This feels like a scam designed to discourage returns and keep customers’ money, no matter how dissatisfied they are.

This company is dishonest, misleading, and completely untrustworthy. Shop elsewhere — this is not a legitimate or customer-focused business.

Avoid!!! As most of the reviews state, it’s a total scam. Cheap clothes from China falsely advertised as quality UK clothing.

Awful company NOT a UK based boutique as stated they are in China. Avoid at all costs. Dress was £35 originally £90+ what an absolute joke. Material cheap and poorly made. No labels. Offered 10% refund and keep dress. Postage return to Hong Kong will be excessive. DO NOT use this company but by now probably trading under different name.
