I attended one of UCL’s graduation ceremonies at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the platform party. The gown provided wasn’t the correct PhD gown from my institution, but John immediately took it upon himself to find the right one. I can’t praise him enough for his outstanding effort—it truly made a difference.

I have the privilege of working on a variety of graduations, so my experience is not confined to one occasion. At every event and every time Marston Events are a pleasure to work with, always friendly, polite and helpful in extremis. John, David, Sue and Margaret in particular, work incredibly long hours, are always cheerful and such a reassuring presence when time scales are tight or the pressure is on. Their expertise on what gown and style is required is peerless and they will always ensure that every student or academic is turned out perfectly. On my arrival for another round of ceremonies, it is always hugely reassuring to see them there.

I am incredibly thankful to Dee, she made us feel so comfortable and got natural smiles out of us while taking photographs!
